Abstract

Knowledge of the correct medicine can certainly be said to be something important. With the right knowledge, people will be able to get the maximum benefit from the drug and can minimize all unwanted things that can occur due to the use of the drug. This study used purposive sampling and simple random sampling methods on certain variables. Data collection methods in this study include interviews and observations to obtain information about community knowledge. This study only aims to describe the object studied aims to determine the level of knowledge of the use of over-the-counter drugs and limited over-the-counter drugs in the public about knowledge of the use of over-the-counter drugs and limited over-the-counter drugs with the kiuisioner method found with good category results as many as 41 respondents (19%), for the sufficient category as many as 86 respondents (40%) and for the less category as many as 88 respondents (41%). This shows some correspondents who do not know about recognizing the signs of drug classes, how to get drugs, drug doses, drug indications, and how to store drugs.

Abstract

Quality health services are those that are able to provide patient satisfaction according to their expectations and needs. Patient satisfaction is an important indicator in assessing the quality of pharmaceutical services because it influences patient loyalty and the hospital’s image. This study aims to determine the level of outpatient satisfaction with pharmaceutical services at the Pharmacy Installation of Sari Asih Hospital Ciputat in 2024. The study employed a descriptive quantitative design using a purposive sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents using a non-probability sampling technique with accidental sampling. Patient satisfaction levels were measured based on five dimensions of service quality: tangibles, empathy, reliability, assurance, and responsiveness, analyzed using Likert scales and percentages. The results showed that satisfaction levels for tangibles were 74.24%, empathy 75.24%, reliability 79.92%, assurance 74.52%, and responsiveness 75.92%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that patients were satisfied with the tangible aspects of service and moderately satisfied with the assurance, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy dimensions of pharmaceutical services at the Outpatient Pharmacy Installation of Sari Asih Hospital Ciputat.

Abstract

The Hospital Formulary is the drugs accepted and approved by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee for use in hospitals for a certain period of time. The hospital list includes cardiovascular diseases. Worldwide, cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death after cancer. This research method is a descriptive non-experimental research. . Data were collected retrospectively, namely by observing and evaluating the prescription sheets of outpatients with BPJS insurance for 6 months, namely January 2023 - June 2023. The average suitability of prescriptions from January - June 2023 is 83.80% and this is still far from the standard of suitability of prescriptions based on the formulary which should be 100% this is due to the presence of a new cardiologist and there has been no change in the hospital formulary for 2023. Demographic data based on gender in patients suffering from CHD patients with male gender every month have the highest percentage compared to female gender. This is because the risk factor for suffering from CHD in men is greater. Meanwhile, the top ten drugs that are not in accordance with the Hospital Formulary at X Hospital in Bekasi city are Brillinta 90 mg tablets (43.75%).

Abstract

Krim pemutih merupakan kosmetik yang berkhasiat memucatkan noda hitam pada kulit. Maraknya krim pemutih wajah tidak sedikit remaja wanita menggunakan krim pemutih yang belum tentu krim tersebut mempunyai izin edar resmi BPOM. Penggunaan krim pemutih dengan bahan berbahaya seperti hidrokuinon akan menimbulkan pigmentasi dan efek permanen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan tentang produk krim pemutih dan sikap remaja putri tentang penggunaan krim pemutih yang belum memiliki izin edar BPOM. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dilakukan melalui survei kepada 150 siswi di SMAN 1 Rancah, Ciamis, Jawa Barat.  Survei dilakukan dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner  yang telah divalidasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan masing masing variabel menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 17% responden mempunyai pengetahuan baik, 38% cukup baik, 22% kurang baik, dan 21 % tidak baik,  mengenai definisi dan pengetahuan tentang krim pemutih. Untuk variabel sikap, 77% responden memiliki sikap baik dan cukup baik dalam memilih krim pemutih. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah mayoritas responden masih memiliki pengetahuan kurang baik tentang produk krim pemutih tetapi memiliki sikap positif dalam pemilihan krim pemutih.
