Abstract

  Abstrak bahasa Indonesia Penelitian ini dikategorikan ke dalam eksperimen semu atau Pre Experimental Design, sering disebut juga dengan istilah “quasi experiment”. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah dapat menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah siswa pada pembelajaran PKn pokok bahasan menghargai keputusan bersama, melalui rancangan pre-eksperimental menggunakan One Group Pre-test and Post-test design. Perangkat pembelajaran PKn diterapkan pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Ketintang 1 Gayungan Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan perangkat pembelajaran PKn model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah dalam menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah, mendeskripsikan pengelolaan kelas dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, dan  mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hasil analisis data penelitian penerapan perangkat pembelajaran PKn model pembelajaran masalah menunjukkan bahwa rentang skor rata-rata kemampuan guru (peneliti) dalam mengelola pembelajaran pada pertemuan 1 sampai pertemuan 5 adalah 3,0 – 4,0, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa guru sudah mampu mengelola pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah dengan baik dan sangat baik. Rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa yang dominan selama kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah berdiskusi satu kelas untuk menganalisis pemecahan masalah yang terdapat dalam LKS sebesar 25.4% dan menyatakan ide/mengajukan pertanyaan dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 21.1%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa aktif selama kegiatan belajar mengajar. Demikian juga dengan hasil pengamatan terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rentang skor penilaian sikap ilmiah yaitu 1,125 – 1,500 (kategori sangat rendah) pada saat sebelum pembelajaran dan rentang skor sesudah pembelajaran adalah 2.863–3.163 (kategori tinggi). Sedangkan reliabilitas rata-rata instrumen pengamatan pengelolaan pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa, dan sikap ilmiah siswa adalah sebesar 99,3%. Dari hasil penerapan perangkat pembelajaran PKn model pembelajaran masalah menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah dapat digunakan untuk menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah siswa pada pembelajaran PKn pokok bahasan menghargai keputusan bersama. Guru sudah mampu mengelola pembelajaran dengan baik dan sangat baik menggunakan perangkat PKn model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah. Sedangkan, aktitivitas siswa selama kegiatan belajar mengajar menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran dan pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa.   Kata-kata Kunci:penerapan perangkat pembelajaran, pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah, dan sikap ilmiah siswa.         Abstrak Bahasa Inggris This research categorized into apparent experiment or Pre Experimental Design, often is called as also with term "quasi experiment". This research done to know whether study based on the subject can grow scientific position of student at study of PKn discussion fundamental esteems decision together, through planning pre-experimental applies One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Study peripheral of PKn applied at class student V SD Negeri Ketintang 1 Gayungan Surabaya. This purpose of this research to description result of applying of study peripheral of PKn study model based on subject in growing scientific position, description of management of class in school activity, and description of student activity in school activity. Result of applying research data analysis of study peripheral of PKn study model of subject indicates that score spread average of teacher ability ( researcher) in managing study at meeting of 1 until meeting of 5 is 3.0 – 4.0, this thing indicates that teacher have been can manage study based on the subject carefully and very good. Average of dominant student activity percentage during school activity is discussing one classes to analyze trouble-shooting which there is in LKS equal to 25.4% and express idea/propose question with average of percentage equal to 21.1%, this thing indicates that student active during school activity. And so it is with result of observation to scientific position of student shows existence of improvement of assessment score spread of scientific position that is 1.125 – 1.500 (very low category) at the time of before study and score spread after study is 2.863-3.163 (high category). While reliability average of instrument of observation of management of study, student activity, and scientific position of student is equal to 99.3%. From result of applying of study peripheral of PKn study model of subject indicates that study model based on the subject applicable to grow scientific position of student at study of PKn discussion fundamental esteems decision together. Teacher have been can manage study carefully and very good applies peripheral PKn study model based on the subject. While, student activity during school activity indicates that student to play more active in study and study is centered on the student.   Keywords: Applying of Study Peripheral, Study Based on the Subject, and Scientific Position of Student.

Abstract

The lack of direct involvement of students in learning activities, plus the use of conventional teaching methods by teachers to date, causes limitations on students’ critical thinking. This research is intended to explore the effectiveness of the application of the Think Pair Share model assisted by situation cards in improving the critical thinking skill of grade VIII junior high school student related to the material “National Cultural Challenges in the Era of Globalization”. This study applies a pre-experimental type of One Group Pretest-Posttest, with a sample of 34 students in class VIII-11 of SMP Negeri 4 Samarinda who were freely selected. The instruments utilized were pre-test and post-test essay tests and student involvement observation instruments. The findings in this study were analyzes statistically through a descriptive analysis approach and the Paired Sample t-Test. The findings indicated that there was a significant difference between the pre-test mean score of 48.32, increasing to 83.21 after the implementation of the post-test. The normality test of the data was identified as normally distributed, and the t-test showed a significance of 0.001 <0.05, indicating a significant difference between before treatment and after treatment. Based on this research, it is proven that the application of the Think Pair Share model assisted by situation has an impact on improving student’s critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the planning of audiovisual learning media management by Civics Education (PPKn) teachers, (2) the implementation of audiovisual learning media management, (3) the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains after the use of audiovisual media, and (4) the obstacles and solutions encountered by teachers in managing audiovisual media. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects were Civics Education teachers and grade XII students at SMA Negeri 2 Tenggarong. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that the management of audiovisual media by Civics Education teachers was carried out in a planned and integrated manner with learning objectives. The media used included interactive powerpoint, instructional videos, current news broadcasts, and the quizizz application. The evaluation of learning outcomes showed improvements in the cognitive domain (indicated by differences between pre-test and post-test scores), the affective domain (indicated through attitude observation), and the psychomotor domain (indicated through discussions, group presentations, and students’ products/creations). Obstacles encountered included technical and pedagogical limitations, which were overcome through collaborative strategies and the optimization of technology use. Overall, audiovisual media management has proven to contribute positively to improving students’ learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. This research is expected to serve as a reference for teachers in developing innovative, technology-based learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategies and roles of teachers in increasing students' awareness and responsiveness to the socio-ecological impacts of coal mining activities at at Tenggarong Junior High School, East Kalimantan. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with research subjects consisting of the vice principal, social studies and civics teachers, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through the process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that students' awareness was still relatively low due to the lack of environmental education in the curriculum and the lack of information from external sources. The strategies implemented by teachers in learning such as the use of local case studies, focus group discussions, collaborative projects, and the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach were proven to be effective in increasing students' awareness and responsiveness. The improvement was seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test as well as the quality of project work such as mind mapping. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating socio-ecological education in the learning process to form a generation that is critical, environmentally conscious, and socially responsible.
