Abstract

Pendidikan agama Kristen pada anak usia dini sangalah penting. Karena usia dini (usia 0-6 tahun) merupakan masa emas perkembangan manusia yang sangat menentukan perkembangannya pada masa yang akan datang. Jika pendidikan agama Kristen pada masa ini berhasil, maka kehidupan pada usia dewasa akan baik. Oleh karena itu diperlukan metode pengajaran yang tepat. Metode montessori dipandang sebagai metode yang efektif untuk pendidikan agama Kristen anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskripstif melalui studi literatur pustaka untuk menggali secara mendalam berbagai hal tentang metode Montessori bagi anak usia dini. Selain itu, penulis juga melakukan observasi pada anak usia dini untuk mendapatkan penerapan metode Montessori yang tepat dalam pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Hal tersebut untuk menjelaskan secara mendalam bahwa metode Montessori efektif dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of person organization fit and psychological capital on organizational commitment through job satisfaction. Indications of the problem found a decline in the community satisfaction survey at the end of 2020 with good conditions showing the performance of the Class III Port Management Unit Office of Batang Regency is still experiencing instability since the survey was conducted with the online system. The data collection technique was done through purposive sampling with a sample size of 97 employees. The analysis was performed using multiple linear regression to measure the influence of person organization fit and psychological capital on organizational commitment through job satisfaction. In knowing the indirect effect, the Sobel test was carried out. The results showed that Person organizational fit had no effet on organizational commitment, Person organizational fit had an effect on job satisfaction, Psychological Capital had an effect on Organizational Commitment, Psychological Capital had an effect on Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction had an effect on Organizational Commitment, Person Organizational Fit on Organizational Commitment through Job Satisfaction. and Psychological Capital has an effect on Organizational Commitment through Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

Technology with all its developments has become an integral part of the lives of today's teenagers. The extensive use of technology, such as smart phones, social media, gaming, and other things related to digitalization, can have a significant impact on the psychological development of teenagers. In this situation, the church, family and Christian ministry institutions have a very important role to play, which is why a correct understanding of digitalization and all the impacts it has, both positive and negative, is needed. Uncontrolled use of technology can affect the mental health of Teenagers. This influence can take the form of watching negative content, deviant behaviors of bullying or body shaming, online gambling, and other shows that can have an impact on the psychology of Christian teenagers. This impact is what the author will examine in this paper. The author uses a descriptive method where the author will use journals and literature relevant to this writing. These literature sources are used as sources of information in order to analyze and describe the research in accordance with this journal. The author hopes that this research can provide information and contributions for churches, families, and Christian institutions to approach, assist and even handle teenage youth so that digitalization can have a spiritual and positive impact on Christian youth.AbstrakTeknologi dengan segala perkembangannya telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan remaja masa kini. Penggunaan teknologi yang luas, seperti ponsel pintar, media sosial, permainan game, dan hal-hal lain yang berkaitan dengan digitalisasi media, dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada perkembangan psikologi remaja. Pada keadaan seperti ini, gereja, keluarga dan lembaga-lembaga pelayanan kristen memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Itu sebabnya dibutuhkan pemahaman yang benar tentang digitalisasi dan segala dampak yang ditimbulkannya baik itu positif maupun negatif. Penggunaan teknologi yang tidak terkontrol dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan mental remaja. Pengaruh tersebut dapat berwujud tontonan konten-konten negatif, perilaku-perilaku menyimpang bullying atau body shaming, judi online, serta tayangan lainnya yang dapat memberi dampak psikologi remaja kristen. Dampak tersebutlah yang akan penulis teliti dalam penulisan ini. Penulis mempergunakan metode deskriptis dimana penulis akan mempergunakan jurnal dan literatur yang relevan dengan penulisan ini. Sumber-sumber litaratur tersebut dijadikan sebagai sumber informasi dalam rangka menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan penelitian sesuai dengan jurnal ini. Penulis berharap bahwa penelitian ini dapat memberi informasi dan sumbangsih bagi gereja, keluarga, lembaga-lembaga kristen untuk melakukan pendekatan, pendampingan bahkan penanganan kepada pemuda remaja agar digitalisasi dapat memberi dampak yang rohani dan positif bagi remaja kristen.

Abstract

Christian education in kindergarten is very important, because students of kindergarten are part of the golden age of human development. Therefore, proper teaching methods are needed for Christian education in kindergarten to be successful. The Montessory method is seen as an effective method for Christian education in Kindergarten. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies to delve deeply into the montessory method. In addition, the author also made observations in kindergartes to get the proper application of the montessory method in the implementation of Christian education. This is to explain in depth that Christian education in kindergarten through the Montessori method is very effective.

Abstract

The life of a believer is characterized by a willingness to suffer for Christ, where adversity quotient (AQ), the intelligence to endure hardship, plays a crucial role in sustaining faith under pressure. This study aims to explore the implications of the Apostle Paul’s theology of suffering for the development of AQ among believers. Employing a descriptive qualitative method through literature review, the research examines Paul's theology of suffering and its relevance to AQ. The findings reveal that Paul’s ability to endure suffering was rooted in his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, which significantly strengthened his AQ. The study concludes that understanding Paul's theology of suffering provides a solid foundation for developing spiritual and emotional resilience in believers. This research is expected to enhance both theological insight and practical application for enduring and growing through life’s adversities

Abstract

Hukuman mati merupakan isu yang terus diperdebatkan karena berkaitan dengan nilai kemanusiaan, keadilan, dan hak untuk hidup sebagai hak asasi yang bersifat kodrati. Indonesia masih mempertahankan pidana mati untuk kejahatan tertentu, sehingga menimbulkan ketegangan antara penghormatan terhadap martabat manusia dan kewenangan negara dalam menegakkan hukum. Dalam perspektif iman Kristen, persoalan ini semakin kompleks karena setiap tindakan penghukuman harus dilihat dalam terang kasih, pengampunan, dan nilai manusia sebagai gambar Allah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi kepustakaan untuk menelaah dasar moral dan teologis hukuman mati menurut etika Kristen. Analisis dilakukan dengan menafsirkan teks Alkitab, prinsip etika Kristen, serta realitas hukum Indonesia yang masih menyediakan ruang bagi pidana mati. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Perjanjian Lama memberlakukan hukuman mati secara ketat sebagai bagian dari keadilan tertib, sedangkan Perjanjian Baru menekankan kasih, pertobatan, dan pemulihan. Berbagai pendekatan etika Kristen, seperti rehabilitasionisme, rekonstruksionisme, dan retribusionisme menjelaskan bahwa keadilan dan kasih merupakan dua prinsip yang harus dipertimbangkan bersama. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa etika Kristen tidak menolak atau mendukung hukuman mati secara mutlak. Penerapannya hanya dapat dipahami sebagai pilihan terakhir yang menuntut kehati-hatian, keadilan, dan penghormatan terhadap martabat manusia.

Abstract

This study examines the perspective of applied ecological ethics on the development of cement factories and environmental conservation, as well as its relevance to Christian Religious Education (PAK). The research is motivated by increasing environmental degradation caused by industrial expansion, particularly in karst regions such as Kendeng, Central Java, which has generated ecological, social, and moral conflicts. A theological qualitative approach is employed, using hermeneutical analysis and literature studies to explore ecological ethical principles within the framework of Christian theology and their implications for industrial development issues. The findings indicated that industrial development must consider ethical responsibilities in managing natural resources sustainably, equitably, and without compromising environmental integrity. In this context, Christian Religious Education plays a crucial role in fostering ecological awareness, strengthening moral sensitivity, and cultivating a sense of responsibility toward the environment among learners and church communities. PAK also serves as a value-based educational platform that encourages concrete ecological action amid increasing industrial pressures. The study concludes that applied ecological ethics within the Christian perspective provides a moral foundation for society and educational institutions to engage in environmental preservation. By integrating ecological values into Christian Religious Education, development practices can be directed toward greater justice, sustainability, and responsible stewardship of the earth.

Abstract

This study explores the use of contraception from a Christian perspective, focusing on the Christian Church's views on issues of sexuality and reproduction. Globalization has brought about significant cultural changes, including in how society views sexual relations, family planning, and reproductive responsibility. These changes have influenced the Christian community, giving rise to diverse theological and ethical responses regarding the use of contraception. Within the Christian Church itself, there are fundamental differences of opinion. Most schools reject the use of contraception, citing specific interpretations of biblical passages that emphasize openness to life and God's will. Meanwhile, other schools view contraception as a more complex issue, requiring contextual consideration, taking into account aspects of health, family well-being, and the moral responsibility of married couples. These differing views demonstrate the theological and social dynamics that influence the Church's stance on contraception. Therefore, this study aims to provide a deeper understanding of the decision-making process regarding contraception use within the Christian community.

Abstract

The issue of divorce and second marriage occupies a crucial position in the study of Christian applied ethics because it involves a tension between normative theological ideals and the empirical realities of human life. Within a theological framework, marriage is conceived as a covenantal union instituted by God, bearing sacred and ethical dimensions that demand fidelity, exclusivity, and permanence. From this standpoint, divorce is understood as an act that is normatively contrary to God’s intention as articulated in the biblical tradition. However, the complexities of human existence marked by sin, broken relationships, violence, and infidelity require an ethical approach that is not merely legalistic but also hermeneutical and pastoral. The findings of this study affirm that Christian applied ethics cannot be reduced to a literal application of biblical texts; rather, it must be approached as a holistic process of moral reasoning that integrates hermeneutical, theological, ecclesiological, and pastoral dimensions. Consequently, the church is called not only to uphold the sanctity of marriage but also to develop pastoral practices that are sensitive to the intricate realities of human struggle, so that decisions concerning divorce and second marriage may be situated within a framework of justice, mercy, and transformation that reflects the character of God.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami sinergitas antara orang tua dan guru Sekolah Minggu dalam pembinaan iman anak berdasarkan Ulangan 6:6-7. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada pola komunikasi antara orang tua dan guru Sekolah Minggu serta keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendukung pertumbuhan iman anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai pembinaan iman anak dalam keluarga dan gereja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang terbuka, rutin, dan berkesinambungan antara orang tua dan guru Sekolah Minggu mampu menciptakan kerja sama yang harmonis dalam pembinaan iman anak. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua melalui pendampingan rohani, pengulangan pengajaran firman Tuhan di rumah, dan pemberian teladan hidup Kristen memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan iman anak. Sinergitas antara keluarga dan gereja membantu anak memperoleh pembinaan iman yang lebih konsisten, terpadu, dan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Kristiani berdasarkan prinsip Ulangan 6:6-7.   This study aims to understand the synergy between parents and Sunday School teachers in children’s faith development based on Deuteronomy 6:6–7. The focus of the study is directed toward the communication patterns between parents and Sunday School teachers, as well as parental involvement in supporting children’s spiritual growth. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain an in-depth understanding of children’s faith development within the family and church contexts. The results of the study indicate that open, regular, and continuous communication between parents and Sunday School teachers is able to create harmonious cooperation in children’s faith development. In addition, parental involvement through spiritual guidance, reinforcement of God’s Word at home, and the provision of Christian role models has a positive influence on children’s spiritual growth. The synergy between family and church helps children receive faith development that is more consistent, integrated, and aligned with Christian values based on the principles of Deuteronomy 6:6–7.
