Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' understanding of writing scientific articles based on quantitative research methods. The socialization was conducted online via Zoom Meeting, supported by Google Classroom for further discussions. The event involved 80 participants from diverse academic backgrounds. The materials covered fundamental concepts of quantitative research, sampling techniques, data collection and analysis using statistical tools such as SPSS, and ethical considerations in scientific writing. Evaluation was carried out through an online survey to assess participants' comprehension of the presented material. The results indicate that this socialization provided broader insights into scientific article writing, particularly in adhering to academic standards and publication ethics. With continued mentoring, students are expected to apply quantitative methods in their research and produce high-quality publications that meet the standards of scientific journals. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa, guru, dan masyarakat umum mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran di era digital. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting dan didukung oleh berbagai media digital sebagai sarana informasi dan diskusi lanjutan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 69 peserta dari berbagai latar belakang akademik. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup tren dan model pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan, peran pendidik dan mahasiswa di era digital, tantangan kesenjangan digital, serta pentingnya literasi dan etika digital. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui survei online untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman dan kepuasan peserta terhadap materi yang diberikan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran yang efektif, kolaboratif, dan beretika. Dengan adanya kegiatan lanjutan berupa pendampingan praktis, diharapkan peserta mampu mengimplementasikan teknologi digital secara kreatif dan bertanggung jawab dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Social media, particularly Facebook, has become one of the primary platforms for teachers to interact, share, and find inspiration related to education. On Facebook, numerous active education groups and pages exist where teachers share teaching materials, teaching experiences, and instructional strategies. Observing the evolving trends in thematic learning, it is crucial to understand how materials and teaching strategies related to thematic learning in elementary school are communicated and shared in the online world, especially on the Facebook platform. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the teaching materials and strategies of elementary school teachers related to thematic learning in the digital realm, specifically on Facebook. This study will identify the latest trends in thematic learning and explore various approaches and ideas proposed by teachers in the virtual environment. The findings of this research are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of how elementary school teachers leverage the Facebook platform to support and enhance the thematic learning process, contributing positively to the development of education at the elementary school level. With knowledge of the most relevant and effective teaching materials and strategies circulating online, educators and policymakers in the field of education can benefit from the findings of this research to improve the quality of elementary education and support teachers in addressing the challenges of learning in the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the perceptions of students in the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program at Makassar State University regarding the relevance, challenges, and expectations of the Impact Internship Program. This program is part of the Independent Learning and Independent Campus policy, which aims to provide students with real-world work experience. However, for PGSD students, this policy faces obstacles because elementary schools are not yet recognized as part of the industry. This study used a quantitative descriptive method by distributing questionnaires to students. The results showed that most students understood the importance of the program but experienced confusion because the available internship locations did not align with the educational field. They also hoped that schools and non-formal educational institutions would be recognized as part of the "education industry." These findings emphasize the need to review and redefine the concept of industry in the MBKM policy to make the implementation of the Impact Internship Program more relevant for prospective elementary school teachers.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang mendalam di sekolah dasar melalui penyediaan konten audio edukatif berupa instrumen dan backsound yang diunggah secara berkala melalui saluran youtube. Suara latar seperti musik instrumen dan efek backsound memiliki potensi besar dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif, meningkatkan fokus siswa, serta memperkuat pemahaman terhadap materi pelajaran. Saluran Youtube ini dirancang sebagai sumber terbuka yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh guru, siswa, maupun calon guru dalam memperkaya media pembelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui pembuatan dan publikasi konten audio yang relevan, serta penyebaran informasi melalui media sosial dan komunitas pendidikan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan meningkatnya interaksi dan pemanfaatan konten oleh pengguna, serta respons positif dari guru-guru yang menggunakannya dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dengan menyediakan konten instrumen dan backsound yang mudah diakses dan bebas digunakan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna dan mendalam bagi siswa sekolah dasar.
