Abstract

PT XYZ is a services and consulting firm that wants to measure the company's overall performance. Currently, the company only measures financial aspects and cannot describe the company's overall performance. It was conducted to measure the company’s performance by identifying key metrics from three perspectives: financial, customer, internal processes, and learning and growth. Underpinned by the Analytical Hierarchy Process weighting system, the Objective Matrix, and the Traffic Light System rating system, the company's performance achieved an overall index score of 9.15. Of a total of 30 KPIs, 10 are yellow KPIs, which means the company's performance is in line with realistic goals, and the remaining 20 are green KPIs. It shows that the company's overall performance is in line with company goals. The 30 KPIs consist of 4 KPIs for financial, 8 KPIs for customer, 12 KPIs for business internal process, and 6 KPIs for learning and growth.

Abstract

Writing citations and bibliographies is an important part of writing scientific papers, especially for final year students who are writing their thesis or final assignment. However, many students still have difficulty in applying correct and consistent citation rules. Therefore, this training aims to improve students' understanding and skills in using the Mendeley application as a reference management tool. The training activities were carried out directly and were divided into several sessions, including an introduction to the concept of citation, installation and use of the Mendeley application, as well as the practice of inserting citations and creating automatic bibliographies in Microsoft Word. The training participants were final year students from the Automotive Engineering Education Study Program, who were selected based on the need to improve academic literacy skills. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed a significant increase in the participants' understanding and skills. In addition, feedback obtained through the questionnaire showed that the majority of participants felt that this training was very useful and relevant. Thus, this training can be one solution to help students improve the quality of scientific papers and avoid plagiarism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) dalam pengelolaan serta penggunaan perangkat keras di laboratorium komputer. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari pentingnya penerapan K3 dalam lingkungan pendidikan, khususnya di laboratorium yang memiliki potensi risiko terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan pengguna dan kerusakan peralatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuisioner kepada 58 mahasiswa jurusan teknik informatikan dan komputer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap prinsip-prinsip K3 tergolong sedang, namun penerapannya masih kurang optimal. Fasilitas penunjang K3 dilaboratorium belum sepenuhnya tersedia dan difungsikan dengan baik. Selain itu, belum adanya sistem edukasi yang terstruktur dan prosedur tetap (SOP) terkait K3 turut menjadi kendala dalam implementasinya.

Abstract

This study examines the disruption of the coffee supply chain due to the Covid-19 outbreak in the world. During the Covid-19 pandemic, demand and delivery disruptions occurred at PT Toduri Kopi. This study aims to identify the disruption risks in the supply chain during the pandemic and analyze the impact of ripple effects on supply chain performance in PT Toduri Kopi. Discrete event simulation (DES) is used to simulate ripple effect problems in the supply chain. AnyLogistix was chosen to help analyze the disruption before and during a pandemic and its impact on supply chain performance. The results of this simulation show that there is a decrease in demand by 25%, a decrease in profit by 49.5%, a decrease in revenue by 40.9% and a total cost of 7.59%.

Abstract

Pertambangan menjadi sektor strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia namun masih menyisakan permasalahan berupa lahan pasca-tambang yang terbengkalai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan utama dalam penanganan tambang terbengkalai di Indonesia serta mengeksplorasi strategi dari praktik baik internasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis literatur dari kasus-kasus di Australia, Kanada dan Afrika Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lemahnya penegakan dan pengawasan hukum atas kewajiban reklamasi serta minimnya jaminan reklamasi. Sementara itu praktik internasional yang dapat diimplementasikan di Indonesia yaitu sistem jaminan dana reklamasi yang dikelola negara, menyusun sistem regulasi penutupan tambang berdasarkan konsultasi publik, hingga mendorong audit independen terhadap pelaksanaan reklamasi.

Abstract

The increasing number of motor vehicles in Indonesia has driven the growth of automotive repair shops that generate hazardous waste. This research aims to identify the types and characteristics of automotive workshop waste, evaluate waste management practices, analyze environmental impacts, and formulate a sustainability-based waste management model. The research employed a mixed-method approach on six workshops (two authorized, two medium-scale, and two small-scale) through field observations, waste volume measurements, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Results show significant variations in waste volume and types based on workshop categories, with authorized workshops having better management systems compared to medium and small-scale workshops. The main barriers to sustainable waste management implementation include cost limitations, supporting infrastructure, technical knowledge, weak regulatory supervision, and low economic incentives. The proposed management model integrates environmental, economic, and social aspects with an approach tailored to the characteristics and capacities of the workshops.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi singkat tentang sampah terhadap pengetahuan mahasiswa Teknik Otomotif mengenai prinsip 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik regresi linier sederhana. Responden berjumlah 30 mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah Polusi dan Lingkungan. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov serta regresi linier sederhana pada perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan edukasi singkat memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan mahasiswa mengenai 3R, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.021 dan R Square sebesar 0.176. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran lingkungan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa otomotif mengenai pengelolaan sampah secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study has a purpose to determine the number of blades effect on a water turbine regarding flow rate and turbine rotation. The turbine utilized in this study is a Pelton-type impulse turbine, which harnesses potential energy and water pressure to enhance its rotational speed. Additionally, it examines how turbine rotation affects voltage, current, and electric power generated. This research is an experimental study focusing on a prototype mini-micro hydro water turbine. The testing involved varying the valve openings at angles of 36°, 54°, 72°, and 90°, as well as the number of blades, which were set to 6, 8, and 10. The output parameters were measured using instruments that met the specifications for the test equipment. The results indicated that the minimum water discharge required to drive the turbine prototype was 30 cm³/s at a valve opening of 36°. The minimum power generated for each variation in the number of blades was as follows: 0.114 W for 6 blades, 1.426 W for 8 blades, and 1.672 W for 10 blades. At the maximum valve opening of 90°, a flow rate of 67 cm³/s was achieved. Under these conditions, the turbine generated powers of 1.5 W for 6 blades, 7.593 W for 8 blades, and 8.16 W for 10 blades. These findings demonstrate that the performance of the micro-hydro power generation system is significantly influenced by water discharge, turbine rotation speed, and the specifications of the power generator used. This study provides valuable insights for developing renewable energy sources to supply electricity in remote areas with limited access to conventional energy. Furthermore, the results can serve as a foundation for designing more efficient and sustainable micro-hydro systems in the future. The results indicate that an increase in the number of turbine blades leads to greater kinetic energy in the water, which in turn raises the rotational speed of the turbine. This increase in kinetic energy enhances the conversion of water energy into mechanical energy, resulting in improved efficiency of the turbine.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa, guru, dan masyarakat umum mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran di era digital. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting dan didukung oleh berbagai media digital sebagai sarana informasi dan diskusi lanjutan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 69 peserta dari berbagai latar belakang akademik. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup tren dan model pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan, peran pendidik dan mahasiswa di era digital, tantangan kesenjangan digital, serta pentingnya literasi dan etika digital. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui survei online untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman dan kepuasan peserta terhadap materi yang diberikan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran yang efektif, kolaboratif, dan beretika. Dengan adanya kegiatan lanjutan berupa pendampingan praktis, diharapkan peserta mampu mengimplementasikan teknologi digital secara kreatif dan bertanggung jawab dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Abstrak – Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan siswa dalam bidang perbaikan bodi kendaraan melalui pelatihan berbasis kompetensi. Program pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop yang melibatkan 20 peserta siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan. Metode pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan utama yang menekankan pada peningkatan kemampuan teknis, pemahaman konsep, keselamatan kerja, dan efisiensi dalam proses perbaikan bodi kendaraan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi peserta, dengan capaian keterampilan teknis sebesar 40%, pemahaman sebesar 15%, keselamatan kerja sebesar 15%, dan efisiensi kerja sebesar 15%. Berdasarkan capaian tersebut, kegiatan pelatihan dinyatakan berhasil karena mampu meningkatkan kemampuan peserta sesuai dengan indikator kompetensi yang telah ditetapkan. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengembangan keterampilan berbasis kompetensi yang aplikatif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan industri otomotif. Kata kunci: pelatihan berbasis kompetensi, keterampilan teknis, perbaikan bodi kendaraan, PKM, workshop
