Abstract

Pengelolaan parkir seringkali berpotensi menimbulkan konflik di kawasan padat penduduk. Analisis perparkiran merupakan langkah awal yang perlu diambil untuk menentukan kebijakan pengelolaan perparkiran di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik parkir RSUD Rasidin Padang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik survei parkir. Indikasi masalah parkir di kawasan ini terlihat dari tingginya intensitas parkir on street yang dilakukan pengunjung. Hasil analisis nilai indeks parkir maksimum adalah 110% yang menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas ruang parkir yang tersedia sudah tidak mampu lagi menampung kendaraan parkir. Penelitian ini memerlukan kajian lebih lanjut untuk merumuskan rekomendasi pengelolaan parkir bagi RSUD Rasidin Padang.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze estimates of population growth and waste generation in West Sumatra Province, especially Bukittinggi City from 2024 to 2028; identify the need for waste management facilities in Bukittinggi City; To understand waste management, data analyzed using the logarithmic method from 2019 to 2023 shows an average population growth of 0.4% per year. In 2019, the population of Bukittinggi City was 124,562 people, and the amount of daily waste generated was 113.43 m3/day. Meanwhile, the population of Bukittinggi City is estimated to increase in 2028, and the amount of waste produced will be 127.78 m3/day. Thus, it is estimated that by 2028 the number of garbage truck systems will be 16 units. Apart from that, the number of containers needed in 2028 is 22 containers. There are several strategies to improve the quality and quantity of waste processing in Bukittinggi City, namely waste disposal must have adequate facilities and reliable management; Local governments must involve the community to develop a community mindset that prioritizes participation (increasing awareness and discipline) by introducing composting and Reuse, Reduce, Recycle (3R) systems as well as strengthening stakeholder collaboration.Keywords: waste, management, containers, truck, 3R.

Abstract

The use of engine lubricants is increasing every year, so the volume of used oil is also increasing. Based on the Ministry of Environment, used oil belongs to the category of B3 waste. In this research, tests were carried out by adding NaOH to used oil and without adding NaOH to used oil in the processing of used oil into liquid fuel, where the used oil was put into the reactor then heated until the oil in the reactor evaporated and the output was collected, then the physical properties were measured. from the liquid fuel produced where the analysis results using NaOH treatment for the average density value were 831.4 kg/m2, viscosity was 2.24 mm2/s, and the flash point value was 35.1 0C, for analysis results without using the NaOH treatment, the average density value is 831.2 kg/m2, the viscosity is 5.85 mm2/s, and the flash point value is 35.3 0CKeywords : Used Oil, NaOH, Density, Viscosity, Flash Point

Abstract

Pemanfaatan jagung hanya banyak pada pengolahan dagingnya saja, sementara tongkol jagung belum begitu dimanfaatkan dengan baik, sehingga tongkol jagung yang memiliki kandungan sellulosa yang cukup tinggi ini dibuang begitu saja yang berpotensi menjadi limbah organik. Kandungan sellulosa pada tongkol jagung yang cukup tinggi ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pembuat bioetanol. Proses pembuatan bioetanol dari tongkol jagung melewati beberapa tahap proses, tahapan proses hidrolisis menggunakan asam sulfat, lalu tahapan proses fermentasi menggunakan Saccromyces cerevisiae, kemudian tahapan untuk mendapatkan bioetanol murni melalui tahapan proses destilasi. Pada penelitian ini didapatka hasil bioetanol dengan lama fermentasi 3 hari sebanyak 2,03%, 5 hari fermentasi kadar bioetanol yang dihasilkan 5,16% sama dengan fermentasi selama 7 hari bioetanol yang dihasilkan sebanyak 5,16%.Kata kunci; tongkol jagung, bioetanol, fermentasi

Abstract

Tingginya kebutuhan energi yang terus meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan populasi dan aktivitas ekonomi. Energi sangat penting diberbagai sektor, diantaranya transportasi, industri, rumah tangga, dan lainnya. Meningkatnya kebutuhan energi juga membawa tantangan, terutama terkait keberlanjutan sumber daya energi dan dampaknya terhadap lingkungan. Pemanfaatan ampas tebu sebagai bahan baku pembuatan bioetanol merupakan salah satu solusi untuk menghasilkan energi yang ramah lingkungan, kandungan sellulosa pada ampas tebu cukup tinggi untuk dapat diolah menjadi bioetanol. Proses pembuatan bioetanol dari ampas tebu melewati beberapa tahap proses, tahapan proses hidrolisis, proses fermentasi menggunakan Saccromyces cerevisiae, dan proses destilasi umtuk mendapatkan bioetanol murni. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bioetanol dengan lama fermentasi 5 hari dengan hasil bioetanol 4,07%, 6 hari dengan hasil bioetanol 4,20%, 7 hari dengan hasil bioetanol 4,47%, 8 hari dengan hasil bioetanol 4,35%, 9 hari dengan hasil bioetanol 4,19%.Kata kunci; ampas tebu, bioetanol, fermentasi, destilasi

Abstract

Temperature is one of the factors that influences the intensity of rainfall in an area. The higher the temperature in an area, the higher the evaporation so the greater the chance of rain, especially if this occurs at sea. The location of Padang City close to the sea  influences the intensity of rainfall that occurs. Research was conducted to model the effect of temperature on rainfall that occurs in Padang City using simple linear regression using the Python programming language. The methodology used to model the relationship between these two variables is the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining. The simple regression model equation obtained is y = -26.73 x + 1119.98. The evaluation carried out on the model resulted in a relationship that was not close and had a negative correlation. The error rate of the simple linear regression model used in this study is quite large with a mean model error value of 40%, an MAE value of 124.2311, MSE 23489.97 and RMSE 153.2644. A good model has MAE, MSE and RMSE close to zero. Further research is needed to find out a suitable model to describe the relationship between temperature and rainfall that occurs in Padang City.
