Abstract

The use of new media in communication shows a form of interaction that has added value. By training in communication skills through online media, creative and innovative ideas will develop, especially for promotions. This is the target of service activities for teachers at the Putra Fitri Foundation/An-Nabil Bojonggede PAUD school. Therefore, the aim of the activity is to provide digital literacy skills in using online media and the ability to write using computer media or smart devices to the teachers of the Putra Fitri Foundation/An-Nabil Bojonggede PAUD school so that they can increase their creative and innovative abilities in carrying out promotions. The form of activity is counseling and training. The results of the activity show that the development of online media in the form of websites, social media and mobile applications has had a positive impact in increasing interaction between schools and parents, the community and related stakeholders as well as increasing community interest in registering their children at An-Nabil Bojonggede PAUD School. The implication of this research is the importance of using online media as a means of communication and promotion in improving the quality of early childhood education services.

Abstract

Sosialisasi transaksi perbankan yang aman untuk menghindari kejahatan siber serta mengetahui cara mengatasi kejahatan siber dan menemukan kendala dari strategi yang diterapkan oleh Bank BCA. Subjek penelitian ini adalah staf Bank BCA dan nasabah Bank BCA yang menjadi korban kejahatan siber, karena peneliti ingin mengetahui strategi yang telah dilakukan oleh Bank BCA dan cara pencegahan serta penanganannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penentuan informan kunci menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa 7 informan kunci dari staf Bank BCA dan nasabah Bank BCA yang terdampak kejahatan siber menunjukkan pentingnya kesadaran data pribadi yang bersifat rahasia. Faktor pendukung termasuk peran aktif staf Bank BCA, adanya kampanye "Tolak Dengan Anggun," serta penggunaan media sosial secara bijak. Sementara itu, faktor penghambat berasal dari nasabah yang apatis, kesulitan dalam teknologi, banyaknya nasabah yang sudah berusia lanjut, dan kurangnya pengetahuan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah betapa pentingnya strategi digital yang diterapkan oleh Bank BCA dalam menangani dan mengurangi jumlah kasus kejahatan siber di Indonesia, serta upaya Bank BCA untuk meningkatkan infrastruktur keamanan digital dan melindungi data nasabah.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to optimize spatial arrangement and display layout to enhance consumer appeal for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the Komunitas Sukses Berjamaah Indonesia (KSBI) in South Jakarta. Lecturers from IBI Kosgoro 1957 participated in this activity, focusing on improving the effectiveness of spatial arrangement and displays, which will positively impact sales and the growth of the MSMEs. This activity began with an outreach to KSBI members on the importance of an attractive spatial arrangement and display to capture consumer attention. In this outreach, the IBI Kosgoro 1957 lecturers shared knowledge and practical experience on effective spatial design and marketing strategies through appealing displays. After the outreach, an analysis of the spatial arrangement and displays at KSBI was conducted to identify areas that needed improvement. The lecturers and their team collaborated with KSBI members to redesign the layout and displays, making them more attractive and functional. They considered factors such as product arrangement, lighting, visual merchandising, and efficient space management. Next, the implementation of changes to the layout and displays was carried out in collaboration between the IBI Kosgoro 1957 lecturers, their team, and KSBI members. They worked together to plan and execute the necessary changes. The IBI Kosgoro 1957 lecturers provided guidance and recommendations to KSBI members in optimizing their spatial arrangement and displays. The results of this activity are expected to enhance consumer appeal towards KSBI MSMEs. With effective spatial arrangements and attractive displays, MSME products are expected to be better showcased and catch the attention of consumers, ultimately boosting sales and business growth for KSBI members. This community service activity also provided KSBI members with knowledge and skills in managing their spatial arrangements and displays. They can apply design principles to increase the effectiveness of their spatial arrangements and displays in the future.

Abstract

Indonesia ranks fifth as the country with the highest HIV/AIDS-related death rates in the world, with 27,000 deaths in 2023. The cumulative number of people living with HIV/AIDS from 2005 to 2023 is 566,707. In 2023 alone, the number of people with HIV/AIDS reached 57,299, the highest figure since 2009. This situation is certainly concerning. Therefore, preventive efforts, treatment, and care are needed to ensure that people living with HIV (PLHIV) remain healthy. More broadly, it is hoped that the death rate due to HIV/AIDS does not rise and that the transmission does not spread further. Various preventive, treatment, and care efforts are being carried out by different parties, including NGOs and healthcare facilities (Faskes). In Indonesia, NGOs focusing on these efforts include Jaringan Indonesia Positif (JIP), and healthcare facilities that are quite focused on PLHIV include the Unit Ruang Carlo at St. Carolus Hospital in Jakarta. However, the care or counseling provided varies. In the Ruang Carlo, there is the involvement of doctors, nurses, and counselors, such as the Suster-suster Cinta Kasih St. Carolus Borromeus, while at JIP, there is only the involvement of counselors who are experts in their field, having undergone specialized counseling training and education. The treatment provided at the Ruang Carlo is referred to as holistic care or counseling, while JIP implements palliative care or counseling. The similarity between the two types of care or counseling is the role of the counselor, who performs therapeutic communication with people living with HIV (PLHIV). Therefore, this research focuses on the counselor's experience in conducting therapeutic communication, which includes the motivations behind the counseling activities, the communication experiences themselves, and the types of messages exchanged, both verbal and non-verbal.
