Abstract

This study aims to analyze the thoughts of Shah Wali Allah al-Dihlawi in the context of the socio-political crisis that plagued India during his time and its influence on the Islamic movement in the region. This study explores the ideas of Islamic reform that he offered, including the reconstruction of fiqh, Sufism, and Islamic political thought. The method used is library research with a descriptive-analytical approach to the works of Shah Wali Allah, such as Hujjatullah al-Baligha, as well as academic research discussing his influence. The results of the research show that Shah Wali Allah attempted to respond to social disintegration through a synthesis between Sunni teachings and Sufism, as well as calling for the reform of Islamic education and government. His thoughts inspired Islamic reform movements in India, including Darul Uloom Deoband and others. This study confirms that his thoughts remain relevant in contemporary Islamic discourse.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the legal istinbat method used in the Bahtsul Masail Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) forum. Bahtsul Masail is a legal decision-making mechanism unique to NU, which refers to turats (classical) books and considers the social context. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, based on a study of literature and an analysis of official NU documents related to Bahtsul Masail. The results show that the istinbat method in NU is not only based on classical fiqh texts but also considers the maqashid of sharia and the needs of the ummah. This approach allows for flexibility in responding to contemporary issues without leaving the established corridors of Islamic scholarship. Thus, Bahtsul Masail becomes an important instrument in maintaining the relevance of Islamic law to ever-evolving social dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of the fiqh reasoning of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) after the 1992 Alim Ulama National Conference, which marked a paradigm shift from the qauli madhhab to the manhaji madhhab. This transformation reflects NU's efforts to respond to socio-contextual challenges with a more open and dynamic methodological approach. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, analyzing official NU documents, the results of bahtsul masail, and literature related to manhaji fiqh. The results show that NU has begun to prioritize the principles of maqashid syariah, maslahah, and a contextual approach in making law, without abandoning the roots of the madhhab tradition. This change directs NU fiqh towards a pattern of thinking that is more solution-oriented, inclusive, and adaptive to the times. This study emphasizes the importance of the madhhab manhaji as a framework for istinbath of law that is relevant to contemporary society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Islamic digital marketing strategy implemented by Giyanda.co through Shopee and TikTok Shop to increase sales of hijab products, identify the reasons for using both platforms, and examine their impact on business development. This research employed a qualitative case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants were the business owner and the employees involved in Giyanda.Co’s digital marketing activities. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Giyanda.co implements its Islamic digital marketing strategy by optimizing various features of Shopee and TikTok Shop, including live streaming, short-video content, hashtags, vouchers, discounts, and flash sales. In practice, the company emphasizes Islamic marketing principles, such as honesty, transparency in product information, fair pricing, and ethical communication, in line with Islamic values. The primary reason for choosing Shopee and TikTok Shop is their complementary functions: Shopee serves as a secure, trusted transaction platform, while TikTok Shop serves as a promotional medium that can reach a broader audience through interactive, potentially viral content. The implementation of these strategies has resulted in increased sales volume, wider market reach, enhanced brand awareness, stronger customer trust, and greater customer loyalty, as reflected in repeat purchases and positive customer reviews. This study concludes that integrating digital marketing with Islamic marketing principles is an effective strategy for increasing sales while fostering long-term relationships between businesses and consumers. The findings contribute to the development of Islamic digital marketing literature, particularly for Muslim fashion businesses operating on social commerce platforms

Data collection techniques include interviews with LMI Ponorogo administrators. Analysis uses an interactive data analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Results: The results of the study show that LMI Ponorogo's fundraising strategy is divided into two ways, namely direct and indirect. The factors behind this strategy are due to the lack of Ponorogo people to pay zakat. Conclusion: A supporting factor for success is that LMI Ponorogo has quality human resources in the social marketing process to the community in collecting zakat, so that there is an increase in muzakki paying zakat in LMI Ponorogo.

Abstract

This study examines how local cultural practices in Ponorogo, East Java province of Indonesia, namely Reyog, Becekan, and Cangkrukan function as forms of social architecture that support interreligious harmony and peacebuilding. Using a qualitative field research design, this study draws on in-depth interviews, participant observations, and thematic analysis to uncover how these cultural practices foster empathy and cooperation across religious differences. Data were collected from religious leaders, cultural practitioners, and village elders representing various religious groups who were actively involved in Reyog performances, Becekan activities, and Cangkrukan dialogues. These findings reveal that Reyog serves as a symbolic architecture of unity, integrating aesthetic, spiritual, and civic expressions through interreligious collaboration; Becekan serves as a reciprocal ethical architecture that strengthens economic solidarity and social empathy through acts of mutual assistance; and Cangkrukan operates as a dialogical architecture of tolerance, fostering interreligious understanding through informal conversations. Collectively, these practices form a dynamic cultural structure in which harmony is maintained by living traditions that continue to reproduce trust and togetherness. This research theoretically expands the cultural framework as a social architecture, positioning local wisdom as the foundation of pluralism and social cohesion in Southeast Asia. Practically, it highlights the importance of revitalizing local cultural values as a community-based peacebuilding strategy rooted in empathy, participation, and interreligious solidarity.
