Abstract

General, rectangular beam construct to take flexural and shear force. Flexural test can visualitation in thelaboratorium if there are tools like loading frame, load cell, hydraulic jack and data logger. This researchgive alternative conclusion for flexural test used Response-2000 programme, beside the test result.Response-2000 was one programme used to analyse beam and column with combination load cause axialforce, moment and shear force. This method can used to know the behavior of rectangular beam based onlayer method and produce load-bending response, shear force, axial load, moment-curvature, and strainmomentdiagram to know ductility and strength of beam

Abstract

masonry, and etc. In general, mortar made with low strength, between 3-17 MPa and for high strength mortar needed more cement, where are they had relation of compressive strength and water absorption in the mortar. The relation of compressive strength, water absorption and weight density of mortar caused of water cement ratio, and the summed of cement and sand in mortar mixed. Objective of this research was to know the fit of propert high strength mortar for concrete strengthening, where mortar had well workability and more supplied in Indonesia. Compressive strength test used cilindric specimen for concrete and mortar measured 300 mm in hight with 150 mm diameter. Pull out test for concrete used specimen like to the compressive strength test, pull out test for mortar made from cubicus specimen measured 150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm. All specimen was tested to produce the compressive strenght and pull-out of steel in mortar and concrete. The result show that mortar as well as used for concrete strengthening. Where the compressive strength of mortar was 56,125 MPa highly from concrete as 196,83%. In pull-out test of steel for the two material had same value, therefor mortar was fit to added for concrete strengthening

Abstract

Aceh earthquake in 26 of December 2004 was changing the disaster risk management in Indonesia, particularly if it happened cause of seismic activity dan its secondary hazards, for instance : tsunami, landslide, debris flood and liquifaction, and made The Ministry of Public Work to initiated for revition the Indonesian Earthquake Map 2002 by invite the experts in earthquake. The result was translated in the Indonesian Seismic Zone Map 2010 and change Palu city particularly and  Sulawesi region, generally in high seismicity area with maximum magnitude in 7,9 Richter Scale. This map should made us to have prepareness for the risk possibility in immediate time by mitigation planning, one of the mitigation planning is Workmen training to build resinstantsimple houses from earthquake forconsumers safety and comfortability.The training coducted in 4 (four) steps, firstly :introduction and workmen groups choosing; secondly :programme explanation and socialization; thirdly : training center programme and lastly : monitoring and evaluation due to the result of training by visit workmen project and they could understanding and implementing the training moduls as well as possible.Keywords: Earthquake, Indoneisan Seismic Zone Map 2010, Workmen Training, City of Palu
