Abstract

Covid-19 (`Corona Virus Diseases) is affecting lives all over the world. Information on the spread of COVID-19 is continuously reported in Indonesia through print, electronic, and social media and is declared a pandemic. This research is very important considering the number of Covid-19 sufferers is increasing every day so that people are not ready to face it both physically and psychologically. One of the psychological conditions experienced by society today is anxiety which has an impact on the decrease in the body's immune system. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of public anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic in Medan Selayang District. This type of research is descriptive with a total sample of 79 people. Data collection using the Hanifah 2020 questionnaire with a cronbach alpha value = 0.801. Sampling technique with Simple Random Sampling. The results of the study the majority of respondents had moderate levels of anxiety as many as 43 people (54.4%), mild as many as 24 people (30.4%), severe as many as 11 people (13.9%), and panic as many as 1 person (1.3 %).

Abstract

Food consumption behavior is a form of application of eating habits that are influenced by two factors, namely knowledge and attitudes towards food. Food consumption behavior, like any other behavior toward oneself, family or society, is influenced by opinions and other factors related to right action. This study aims to determine the behavioral characteristics of risky food consumption in people with High Blood Sugar Levels in Tanjung Anom . This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive research design. The study population was 10,087 people, where the samples taken were 68 people with the Accidental Sampling technique with the sample criteria being people with increased Blood Sugar Levels. From the results of the study, the majority of people who experienced an increase in Blood Sugar Levels in the age group of 46-55 years with a total of 21 people (30.9%), based on gender, the most were female as many as 60 people (88.2%), respondent data based on the most education, namely high school / high school education as many as 29 people (42.6% and based on the most jobs was IRT, which was 37 people (54.4%). It is expected that the community will choose healthy foods to reduce the increase in KGD in the people of Tanjung Anom hamlet III.

Abstract

Perilaku konsumsi makanan merupakan perilaku makan yang dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor yaitu pengetahuan dan sikap. Perilaku konsumsi makanan sama seperti perilaku lainnya terhadap diri sendiri, keluarga atau masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh pendapat dan faktor lain yang berkaitan dengan tindakan yang benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik perilaku konsumsi makanan beresiko pada masyarakat dengan Kadar Gula Darah Tinggi di Tanjung Anom. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitiaan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitan deskriptif. Adapun populasi penelitian sebanyak 10.087 orang, dimana sampel yang diambil adalah 88 orang dengan teknik Accidental Sampling dengan kriteria sampel adalah masyarakat yang bersedia menjadi responden. Pelaksanaan memberikan penyuluhan tentang makanan berisiko dan melakukan observasi KGD. Diharapkan kepada masyarakat untuk memilih makanan yang sehat untuk mengurangi terjadinya peningkatan KGD pada masyarakat Tanjung Anom.

Abstract

Diabetes Melitus merupakan penyakit yang tidak dapat disembuhkan namun dapat dikendalikan dengan mengontrol kadar gula darah untuk dapat mencegah komplikasi yang terjadi. Komplikasi diabetes melitus dapat diminimalisir jika penderita diabetes mellitus memiliki kemampuan dan pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai self management diabetes mellitus. Self management diabetes mellitus dalam hal ini meliputi Menejemen glukosa, Kontrol diet, aktivitas fisik, dan perawatan kesehatan. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui self management penderita diabetes mellitus di poli penyakit dalam rumah sakit harapan pematangsiantar. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 95 orang dengan kriteria pasien yang mengalami Diabetes Melitus. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dari 95 orang responden penderita diabetes melitus terdapat 69 orang responden (72.6%) memiliki Self Management yang sedang dan sebanyak 1 orang responden (1.1%) memiliki Self Management yang buruk. Disarankan bagi Pasien Diabetes Melitus agar responden dapat meningkatkan self management supaya responden lebih bersikap mandiri dalam segala urusannya dan tidak mudah bergantung dengan orang lain dan tidak merasa menjadi beban bagi keluarga dan teman.
