Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide assistance in improving knowledge and skills for MSME actors in Ciledug in carrying out bookkeeping using online-based application. This assistance activity is carried out in four stages, the first stage is assistance in general bookkeeping for manufacture and production businesses. The second stage is assistance for manufacture businesses. The third stage is assistance for retail businesses, while the fourth stage is consultation session. The assistance program included monitoring and evaluation to see the effectiveness of this program in helping MSME productivity and improving competitive advantages. The results of this assistance program indicated that MSME actors are being capable to record the financial transaction using online-based bookkeeping and produce financial reports using online-based application. The monitoring and evaluation stage resulted that MSMEs can improve their efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity by using financial information produced by online-based application. Therefore, MSMEs can achieve their own competitive advantages.

Abstract

Bookkeeping is one of the activities in financial management in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as an effort to improve the quality of financial reporting. The low quality of MSME financial reporting impacts other problems, such as reduced productivity and constraints on other MSME business processes. MSMEs experience this in Parung Serab Village, Tangerang. Parung Serab MSMEs experienced a decline in productivity due to a need for more consistency in reporting and financial management. Moreover, due to inconsistent financial management, MSMEs cannot open up and improve their finances, resulting in losses. Due to this problem, the team serves the community by assisting in simple bookkeeping using Microsoft Excel tools. This community service activity aims to improve the quality of MSME financial reporting through simple bookkeeping using a mentoring approach. This qualitative study uses data about the problems faced by MSMEs collected through an interview process. The subjects of this assistance are 15 MSMEs in Parung Serab, Ciledug. The result of this assistance is that with simple bookkeeping using Microsoft Excel format, MSMEs in Parung Serab have succeeded in maintaining consistency in financial management and reporting. This assistance means that by maintaining consistency in financial management, the quality of financial management and reporting and the productivity of MSMEs will increase.

Abstract

Companies that have reported on their social responsibility activities certainly expect an increase in the Firm value. The profits generated by the company have the power of response. The market response to earnings information can be seen from the size of the Earnings Response Coefficient (ERC). This research aims to examine if the divulgation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) information influenced the ERC. CSR disclosure is measured using a dichotomous method, while ERC is obtained from the regression between Cumulative Abnormal Return (CAR) and Unexpected Earning (UE). The findings of this research show that the divulgation information of CSR in the sustainability reports has no effect on the ERC.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the capacity of MSMEs in Situ Udik Village in designing a digital-based business framework using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach. Through training and mentoring, participants are guided to develop a business model that includes nine main elements, from customer segments to cost structures. The results of the activity showed that most participants succeeded in developing a more systematic business framework, recognizing business strengths and weaknesses, and formulating medium-term development strategies. In addition, participants began to integrate digital promotions through social media and design more effective distribution channels. Several MSMEs have also begun to utilize simple applications for financial recording. These findings indicate that BMC is effective as a tool for developing digital business models, encouraging MSMEs to be more adaptive and competitive in facing market changes and preparing sustainable business growth strategies.

Abstract

Kecamatan Cibungbulang, Bogor bertujuan memperkuat keunggulan kompetitif UMKM melalui Business Model Canvas (BMC) untuk strategi branding dan packaging berbasis cost constraint guna memperluas penjualan di platform e-commerce. Mitra menghadapi kendala dalam menggali keunggulan kompetitif, pemasaran, dan kemasan produk yang kurang menarik, ditambah keterbatasan finansial dan kapabilitas SDM. Teknologi digital dan persaingan global semakin menekan produk lokal dengan brand image lemah. BMC, alat strategis yang mudah digunakan, membantu UMKM memahami sembilan elemen kunci bisnis, khususnya branding, packaging, dan pengelolaan biaya. Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku usaha menciptakan strategi branding dan desain kemasan yang menarik serta memanfaatkan platform e-commerce untuk menjangkau pasar lebih luas. Metode ini terbukti efektif mendorong daya saing produk lokal di pasar digital, menciptakan peluang pertumbuhan berkelanjutan, dan memperkuat posisi UMKM di tingkat nasional maupun internasional.

Abstract

With the increasing number of MSMEs, strong business resilience is needed to face increasingly tight business competition. The large potential of MSMEs in Lengkong Karya Village, North Serpong District, South Tangerang City, Banten Province, can increase opportunities for expanding marketing reach. However, this is not balanced with the ability of MSME actors to strive for marketing following market developments and tastes. This results in MSMEs not developing optimally. Therefore, the PkM team conducted training and mentoring in digital marketing for MSMEs in Lengkong Karya. This mentoring aims to help MSMEs to accelerate growth and increase the resilience of MSME businesses. A total of 25 MSME actors attended this training and mentoring. This series of training and mentoring activities is carried out in 3 (three) stages, namely the need assessment stage, training and mentoring (provision of digital marketing materials and mentoring synchronously and asynchronously), and monitoring and evaluation (to measure the effectiveness of training and mentoring. These three stages are carried out to ensure that the implementation of the PkM program can provide measurable results and real impacts. The results of this mentoring are that MSME actors experience increased knowledge, skills, experience, and attitudes in marketing their products digitally. Thus, this PkM program can increase the resilience of MSME businesses in Lengkong Karya, North Serpong, South Tangerang. Keywords: digital marketing, training, assistance, MSMEs, business resilience

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 significantly impacted the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in South Tangerang City, Banten, Indonesia. Despite a growing human population that suggests a potential boost to the local economy, MSMEs in Lengkong Karya Village, North Serpong District, are not fully capitalizing on these opportunities. According to the coordinator of economic development in Lengkong Karya Village, MSMEs in the area are grappling with capital issues, primarily due to their inability to accurately identify costs, particularly the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). This challenge hinders their financial management, making it difficult to evaluate their performance. In response, the Community Service team aims to implement an assistance program focused on analyzing COGS for local MSMEs, with the purpose of enhancing their economic income and overall business performance. Utilizing a training and assistance method, the program will provide MSME owners with essential knowledge, skills, and practical guidance in financial management and cost analysis. This program results in an increase in understanding, skills, and experience in analyzing the Cost of Goods Sold among the MSMEs being operated. Ultimately, this initiative seeks to contribute to an increase in family economic income and foster sustainable growth within the local economy, allowing MSMEs to better leverage the opportunities available to them.

Abstract

Warga desa Tonjong di sekitar BUMDes Kurnia Abadi mengalami permasalahan yang muncul setelah merebaknya pandemi virus corona atau Covid-19 di Indonesia pada awal Maret 2020. Tercatat pada bulan Maret 2020 sekitar 20 orang pekerja menjadi korban pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) dan 1.000 orang dirumahkan tanpa gaji akibat mewabahnya virus corona. Adapun tujuan dari pelaksanaan program abdimas ini yaitu memberikan keterampilan bagi masyarakat di kabupaten Bogor dalam hal pelatihan produksi dan pengemasan sambal tuna kecombrang dan kacang ijo goreng krispy, serta pelatihan pemasaran melalui e-commerce. Sehingga manfaat yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan program abdimas ini yaitu dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat Bogor dan mengatasi permasalahan ekonomi masyarakat yang terjadi setelah mewabahnya Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan pada pemberdayaan warga Kabupaten Bogor terutama yang terdampak oleh pandemi Covid-19, yaitu menyiapkan materi pembelajaran berupa manual book dan video tutorial mengenai pembuatan sambal tuna kecombrang dan kacang ijo goreng krispy, tutorial buka toko online dan tutorial upload produk di Tokopedia serta penyampaian materi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran partisipatif. Selanjutnya dalam proses pembelajaran akan digunakan beberapa metode pembelajaran, antara lain pembagian manual book, demonstrasi melalui video tutorial, dan praktek langsung.
