Abstract

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is considered as one of the solutions to support the economy of a country. The rapid development of information and communication technologies introduces opportunities to create new digital ventures. Many giant companies successfully grow their business exponentially, although many of them do not even own products. Many countries, including Indonesia, are keen to support and encourage more people to build digital startups. There are many successes story about entrepreneurship ecosystems that contributes to the success of digital ventures. One of the critical factors of the success of an ecosystem is the availability of campuses that support innovations and talents. Thus, it is critical to find the optimum digital entrepreneurship ecosystem for education to produce new and sustainable digital entrepreneurs—this research attempt to find out the research trends in digital entrepreneurship ecosystems in higher education. The method used in this research was bibliometric analysis using three software, including Publish or Perish, Mendeley Reference Manager, and VOSviewer. The results are presented in a graphical network map of terms in several relevant keywords. This research concludes that while there are many studies about the entrepreneurship ecosystem during 2015-2021, few studied the development of digital entrepreneurship ecosystems in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a more effective and data-based strategy for the management of ex-termination materials in the upstream oil and gas industry, integrating ABC, VED, and FMSD methods with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The analysis was carried out by integrating the ABC-FMSD-VED matrix approach. The results showed that 21% of category A materials accounted for 80% of the total inventory value, while 85.95% of materials were included in the Deadstock category, which was not optimally utilized. The AHP analysis showed that the top priority was internal utilization, followed by borrowing, transfer, and deletion, with sensitivity tests indicating decision stability.

Abstract

Vendor invoice payment process at PT XYZ involves several verification stages supported by a digitalized system through the Vendor Invoicing Portal (VIP) application. Although technology has streamlined workflows, the document rejection rate remains relatively high, averaging 22% between January and August 2024. This equates to 13,435 rejected invoices out of 61,852 processed, with a total value of approximately IDR 5.3 trillion. These rejections are caused by document discrepancies, incomplete submissions, and prolonged correction times by the relevant units or vendors. As a result, payment delays have led to IDR 531.1 billion worth of invoices being paid more than 20 days after submission, negatively impacting the company's operational efficiency and vendor relationships. This study aims to identify business process activities in invoice payments, analyse the risk factors (risk agents) and risk events, and design mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Analytic Network Process (ANP) method, used to determine the weight of correlation between risks, while the House of Risk (HOR) method identifies priority risks based on the Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) value. Findings of this study are expected to provide relevant risk mitigation recommendations to reduce the document rejection rate and expedite payment processes. By addressing these issues, the company can enhance operational efficiency and strengthen vendor trust, ensuring that invoices amounting to billions of rupiah are processed more accurately and promptly.

Abstract

Inventory management requires coordinated efforts among internal and external stakeholders. The electric power distribution service unit faces challenges in inventory management. Operational constraints including order cycles, fluctuating waiting times, and the absence of buffer stock must be managed while adhering to mandatory service standards, resulting in complexity and uncertainty. The study adopts a dynamic systems approach to identify key stakeholders and map their interdependencies. A causal circle diagram (CLD) is used to visualize and analyze the dynamics of the problem. Then a dynamic system model design was developed to understand the system and find areas for improvement.

Abstract

The electricity industry is a strategic sector in the Indonesian economy, with PT PLN (Persero) as the main company responsible for the distribution of electrical energy. UP3 Sukabumi serves 54,636 New Install (PB) customers and 26,744 Power Change (PD) customers during the 2022-2023 period. The achievement of the lowest Service Quality Level (TMP) was due to the unavailability of Main Distribution Materials (MDU) by 46%. This study aims to optimize the control of MDU inventory using the Continuous Review (s,S) method with a Monte Carlo simulation approach. The classification of materials based on ADI-CV shows smooth and erratic characteristics with an ADI value of < 1.32. The results showed an increase in service level from 78-94% to 82-97% and a decrease in total inventory costs in 9 out of 10 materials studied. The optimal parameters obtained for MCB 25A material are s = 65 and S = 150 with a service level of 96%. The implementation of this method has a positive impact in the form of improving customer service, inventory cost efficiency, and achieving the company's TMP targets.

Abstract

Considering that a complicated or delayed invoice payment process can disrupt business operations, the company must establish mitigation measures to prevent such occurrences and minimize potential failures that may hinder future business processes. This context specifically involves collaboration with business partners or vendors providing services and materials. This research aims to map out the activities within the invoice payment business process, identify risk events and related risk agents, and formulate mitigation strategies to reduce their negative impact. The House of Risk (HOR) method is utilized to prioritize risks according to Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) scores then the scores will be classified with a Pareto diagram. This study aims to offer actionable recommendations for risk mitigation, mostly in digitalization and automation of systems that can help lower the rate of document rejections and accelerate the overall payment cycle. Ultimately, these improvements will contribute to increased operational efficiency and reinforce vendor confidence, ensuring that high-value invoices are processed more reliably and promptly.
