Abstract

Generasi Alpha adalah generasi yang lahir pada era teknologi. Anak yang saat ini berusia 0-6 tahun termasuk dalam generasi ini sehingga dalam kehidupannya tidak terlepas dengan gadget. Dengan adanya kebijakan belajar dari rumah, maka pembelajaran dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan media teknologi. Hal ini menyebabkan anak banyak menggunakan gadget. Namun penggunaan gadget pada anak harus dengan pengawasan dari orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pentingnya pengawasan orang tua dalam pemanfaatan gadget selama masa belajar dari rumah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan data primer dan sekunder. Adapun hasil penelitiannya adalah dengan pengawasan orang tua dalam penggunaan gadget, maka akan menimbulkan dampak postif, tetapi jika tidak ada pengawasan dari orang tua, maka gadget akan berdampak negatif pada anak. Adapun beberapa hal yang dapat dilakukan orang tua dalam mengawasi penggunaan gadget pada anak yaitu memperbanyak komunikasi dengan anak, membatasi penggunaan gadget, mendampingi anak anak ketika diberi kesempatan bermain gadget, mengutamakan dunia nyata daripada dunia internet, dan menanamkan prinsip peduli kepada orang lain.

Abstract

Taman Kanak-kanak Permata Hati yang berada di kecamatan Bangkalan lebih didominasi oleh siswa yang aktif melakukan kegiatan motorik kasar sehingga penting bagi guru untuk melakukan assesmen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan asesmen perkembangan motorik kasar pada anak usia dini di lembaga TK Permata Hati. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan melibatkan guru dan orang tua sebagai informan penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Miles dan Huberman yang diawali dengan mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, terakhir menarik kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di TK Permata Hati melaksanakan kegiatan asesmen perkembangan motorik kasar. Tujuan guru saat melakukan asesmen perkembangan motorik kasar anak adalah untuk mengetahui capaian perkembangan motorik kasar pada masing-masing anak. Asesmen dilakukan secara rutin untuk mengetahui ketercapaiannya perkembangan motorik kasar pada anak. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah ceklis, dan catatan anekdot. Proses pelaporan hasil asesmen dilakukan setiap semester, sehingga orang tua mendapat laporan dan bisa melakukan pemantauan terhadap perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan untuk melakukan penelitian secara lebih mendalam terkait pelaksaanaan asesmen selain perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini.

Abstract

Assessment activities are carried out to determine the achievement of child development. Assessment activities involve teachers and parents. This study examines parental involvement in assessments by the principles of assessment, namely parents as a source of assessment information and as listeners. This study involved 81 parents with early childhood children attending the Penggerak Kindergarten institution in Bangkalan District. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that parents tend to be able to carry out their roles by one of the principles of assessment, namely as a source of information by providing information about the strengths and weaknesses of children and parents can be listeners to information on child development delivered by teachers. This study provides new insights into the role of parents in early childhood development assessments. This study contributes to education to be able to involve parents not only in learning activities but also in child development assessments.

Abstract

Assessment in the independent curriculum frees each institution to plan and design assessment instruments that are appropriate to the stages of child development and the needs of each school. The purpose of this study was to analyze assessment practices and obstacles faced by teachers. This type of research uses a qualitative research method that refers to the phenomenological paradigm. This research was conducted at the YKK 01 Kindergarten institution in Bangkalan Regency involving the principal and teachers in August-December 2024. Data collection techniques were by interview, participant observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing and data verification. The results of the study regarding the implementation and challenges of the foundation phase learning assessment were that teachers used checklists and work results in implementing the assessment and at certain times used anecdotal notes instruments. The challenges faced by teachers, first, the different characteristics of children so that they affect the assessment results, second, communicating the assessment results to align teacher perceptions with parents. This research recommends that teachers can increase the duration of use of assessment instruments other than checklists and work results that are tailored to children's needs and can increase the use of technology to collect, store, and analyze assessment data so as to help monitor children's development more efficiently and facilitate communication with parents.   ABSTRAK Asesmen pada kurikulum merdeka membebaskan setiap lembaga untuk merencanakan dan merancang instrumen asesmen yang sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan anak dan kebutuhan masing-masing sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis praktik asesmen dan kendala yang guru hadapi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang merujuk pada paradigma fenomenologi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada lembaga TK YKK 01 Kabupaten Bangkalan yang melibatkan kepala sekolah dan guru pada bulan Agustus-Desember 2024. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi partisipasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data (data collection), reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi data (conclusion drawing and verification). Hasil dari penelitian mengenai pelaksanaan dan tantangan asesmen pembelajaran fase fondasi yaitu guru menggunakan ceklis dan hasil karya dalam pelaksanaan asesmen dan pada waktu tertentu menggunakan instrument catatan anekdot. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh guru, pertama, karakteristik anak yang berbeda-beda sehingga berpengaruh terhadap hasil asemen, kedua, mengkomunikasikan hasil assesmen untuk menyelaraskan presepsi guru dengan orangtua. Rekomendasi penelitian ini, guru dapat meningkatkan durasi penggunaan instrument asesmen selain ceklis dan hasil karya yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak dan dapat meningkatkan penggunaan teknologi untuk mengumpulkan, menyimpan, dan menganalisis data asesmen sehingga membantu dalam memantau perkembangan anak secara lebih efisien dan memudahkan komunikasi dengan orangtua.

Abstract

This study is motivated by some children who experience barriers in language skills so it needs to be stimulated. This study aims to determine the effect of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) approach on the language skills of group B children. Language skills in this study include receptive and expressive abilities of children. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach through the experimental method of pre-Experimental design (One- Group Pretest-Posttest Design) with a research sample of 30 children in group B TKIT YAKHOLQI. For data collection, researchers used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. In data analysis, researchers used the paired sample T-test analysis technique to test the hypothesis with the prerequisites of normality test and homogeneity test. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the results of the paired sample T-test hypothesis test Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 0.05, which can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the application of the STEAM approach has a significant effect on the language skills of children in group B TKIT YAKHOLQI. The STEAM approach in stimulating children's language skills by mentioning, asking, understanding, and communicating the activities that have been carried out.
