Abstract

This research was conducted to: analyze the performance predicate of Madrasah principals, analyze the average performance predicate of Madrasah principals and analyze the education and training needs of Madrasah Tsanawiyah principals in East Lampung. The research was conducted at 9 Madrasah Tsanawiyah in East Lampung. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques were: interviews, documentation and observations which consisted of 4 main performance indicators of madrasah principals, namely: Madrasah development efforts, implementation of managerial tasks, entrepreneurial development, and supervision of teachers and Madrasah education staff. The results showed that: 1) there were 2 Headmaster of MTs who received the predicate of Very Good performance, 2 Headmasters of MTs received the predicate of Good performance, 3 headmasters of MTs received the predicate of Fair performance, and 2 Headmasters of MTs received the predicate of Moderate performance. 2) The average value of the performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah headmasters in East Lampung on Madrasah development indicator is 77.43 (Good), implementation of managerial tasks is 79.75 (Good), entrepreneurship development is 68.66 (Enough), and Supervision of teachers and education staff is 62.87 (Enough) . 3) The educational and training needs of Madrasah Tsanawiyah headmasrters in East Lampung are in the components of entrepreneurship development and supervision of teachers and education staff.

Abstract

Local content subjects are highly needed, especially for the progress of regions that can positively impact national progress. This research aims to develop a Local Content Curriculum based on the Merdeka Curriculum for High Schools in East Kalimantan Province. The research method used is the development research steps from the Plomp model, namely 1) Investigation; 2) Design; 3) Realization/Construction; 4) Testing, Evaluating, and Revision. In addition, in curriculum development, this research uses the Understanding by Design (UbD) steps consisting of 1) Identifying desired results, 2) Determining Assessment Evidence, and 3) Plan Learning Experiences and Instruction. Data was collected through a literature review and focus group discussions (FGD). The instrument used in the FGD uses an open questionnaire. Curriculum validation was obtained through expert judgment using a validation questionnaire instrument. Qualitative data obtained were analyzed descriptively, while score data were analyzed and converted into assessment categories. This research produces a Local Content Curriculum based on the Merdeka Curriculum for High Schools in East Kalimantan Province, which falls into the Very Feasible category. Furthermore, the advantages and disadvantages of this curriculum product are discussed further in the article.

Abstract

Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) merupakan aplikasi Open Source yang belum banyak diketahui oleh pengelola Perpustakaan Sekolah pada umumnya. SD Alam Azzahra dan SMK YPI Way Jepara sebagai salah satu lembaga penyelenggara pendidikan di Lampung Timur merupakan salah satu sekolah yang belum mengetahui pemanfaatan software tersebut. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perangkat komputer yang tersedia di perpustakaan sekolah yang masih belum difungsikan sebagai perangkat utama dalam aktifitas pengelolaan perpustakaan. Ini disebabkan karena minimnya informasi yang didapat oleh pihak sekolah terkait pelaksanaan pengelolaan perpustakaan yang ideal. Hasil dan luaran dari PKM ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman dan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh pengelola perpustakaan SD Alam Azzahra dan SMK YPI Way Jepara dalam aktifitas pengadministrasian perpustakaan berbasis SLiMS. Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) menyediakan software yang dimaksud kepada pihak sekolah, melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan software SLiMS kepada pengelola perpustakaan dan meberikan pendampingan dalam implementasi SLiMS.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the implementation of sharia economic education at SMP Alam Azzahra Way Jepara. The research was conducted using a qualitative phenomenological type approach. Findings in the research include: 1) Implementation of sharia economic education is carried out through implementing business learning as one of the school curriculum contents; 2) sharia economic education is carried out using a profit sharing approach; and 3) the form of muhdarabah carried out at the school includes the type of mudharobah muqayyadah.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the literary works of Muslim writers who have played an important role throughout history in the spread of Islam to remember that literary works are not limited to da'wah in the narrow sense, but also as teachings and foundations for Muslim culture. Through Syekh Ja'far Al-Barzanji's literary works, the ethical, moral, and Islamic values ​​of life are indigenized on a socio-cultural fundamentalist basis in society. The Al-Barzanji book contains the majesty of the Prophet as a role model for mankind. Likewise, the noble values ​​of the personality of the Prophet make reflections for the readers in each of his verses. The values ​​of character education through moral education in Syair Al-Barzanji include how: 1) selecting teachers and the environment for students, 2) honesty in requests, 3) finding a life partner. Meanwhile, the moral values ​​described in Al-Barzanji's poetry include how: 1) morals in association, 2) morals towards children, 3) morals to Allah SWT, 4) morals to parents, 5) morals to the profession, 6) morals to always consult, 7) morals towards people who have wronged them, 8) morals towards families, 9) morals towards weak people and leaders, 10) morals in anger, and 11) morals in Simplicity.

Abstract

This qualitative case study at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Way Jepara, East Lampung, investigates the perceptions of fifth-grade parents, focusing on cognitive, affective, and conative aspects, and the factors influencing these views. Motivated by a gap in comprehensive studies on parental perceptions in state madrasah ibtidaiyah in East Lampung, this research employed in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with ten parent informants. Overall, the study revealed a highly positive parental perception, with a 75% positive response rate. Cognitively, parents recognize the madrasah's strength in integrating religious and general education. Affectively, they express satisfaction and trust in the institution. Conatively, parents fully support and actively recommend MIN 4 to others. Data analysis, using a thematic approach, identified internal influencing factors such as family religious values and high expectations for children's religious education. External factors included the madrasah's positive image, the quality of its teachers, and available facilities. These findings underscore the critical role of positive parental perceptions in bolstering madrasah education programs. The study concludes that continuous strengthening of communication strategies and improvement of educational service quality, aligning with parents' expectations, are crucial for the future growth and development of madrasas.
