Abstract

The innate potential that is possessed by humans from birth is the main potential for humans. Humans such as Khalifatu Fi al-Ard have more intelligence potential than other creatures with the main purpose is to be educated properly and sustainably so that their potential can be developed maximumly. This research aims to describe the process of forming human potential through education starting from the prenatal period to postnatal period. The research method of this study is library research with the efforts to search literature references related to the subject that matters on the discussion problems. The study was done with critical and detailed study from literature which are related. The research results indicate that education for children must be done through well prepared plans and aspired by both parents. This process starts from searching for a life partner until children's birth according to the Qur'an guidance. Those processes that are implemented will surely shape children's strong character in education environments, both in an informal or in a formal one.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya peningkatan pendapatan keluarga melalui pendampingan budikdamber di Desa Jombang, Kabupaten Jember. Metode budidaya ikan dalam ember dianggap sebagai solusi praktis untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dan pendapatan masyarakat, terutama di daerah dengan lahan terbatas. Program pendampingan ini melibatkan pelatihan teknis mengenai cara budikdamber, manajemen limbah, dan pemasaran produk. Dalam pendampingan ini kami bertugas sebagai pembimbing, perencana, pemotivasi, sumber informasi, penghubung, fasilitator sekaligus sebagai evaluator. Metode pendampingan ini melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu sosialisasi program, pemaparan materi tentang ketahanan pangan, materi tentang system Budidamber dan diakhiri dengan evaluasi. Target dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya ketahanan pangan secara mandiri, bertambahnya pengetahuan tentang sistem Budisdamber yaitu budidaya ikan dan sayur dalam ember yang dapat dilakukan di lahan yang sempit Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan berhasil menerapkan teknik yang diajarkan, yang berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan pendapatan keluarga. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya inovasi dalam pertanian dan perikanan. Dengan demikian, budikdamber berpotensi menjadi alternatif sumber pendapatan yang berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat Desa Jombang

Abstract

This article aims to examine the literary works of Muslim writers who have played an important role throughout history in the spread of Islam to remember that literary works are not limited to da'wah in the narrow sense, but also as teachings and foundations for Muslim culture. Through Syekh Ja'far Al-Barzanji's literary works, the ethical, moral, and Islamic values ​​of life are indigenized on a socio-cultural fundamentalist basis in society. The Al-Barzanji book contains the majesty of the Prophet as a role model for mankind. Likewise, the noble values ​​of the personality of the Prophet make reflections for the readers in each of his verses. The values ​​of character education through moral education in Syair Al-Barzanji include how: 1) selecting teachers and the environment for students, 2) honesty in requests, 3) finding a life partner. Meanwhile, the moral values ​​described in Al-Barzanji's poetry include how: 1) morals in association, 2) morals towards children, 3) morals to Allah SWT, 4) morals to parents, 5) morals to the profession, 6) morals to always consult, 7) morals towards people who have wronged them, 8) morals towards families, 9) morals towards weak people and leaders, 10) morals in anger, and 11) morals in Simplicity.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the digital era presents significant challenges in shaping the character of Generation Z, especially in instilling the values of akhlakul karimah (noble character). This generation is highly familiar with digital tools but often faces moral crises due to media influence and weak environmental supervision. This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher in instilling akhlakul karimah values among Generation Z students at MTs Sunan Ampel Menampu, Jember Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that PAI teachers apply several key strategies, including exemplary conduct (uswah hasanah), habituation of religious activities, advice and motivation (mau’idzah), a fair reward and punishment system, and strong collaboration with students’ parents. These strategies are implemented both in classroom learning and through scheduled religious program supported by the integration of technological media. Despite challenges such as students’ lack of discipline and external negative influences, teachers consistently guide students using persuasive approaches and continuous character development. The study reveals a positive transformation in students’ behavior, such as increased discipline, respect, and responsibility, especially in religious and social contexts. In conclusion, the adaptive and collaborative strategies of PAI teachers play a vital role in nurturing Islamic character among Generasi Z. The success off character education rooted in akhlakul karimah depends on strong synergy between schools, families, and the broader community to ensure sustainable and effective moral development in the digital age.

Abstract

This community service program aims to optimize the role of PKK mothers in Jombang District as the vanguard in the socialization of Gender Mainstreaming (PUG). PKK, as a grassroots organization that is in direct contact with families, has great potential to spread understanding of gender equality and inclusion in development. The problem identified is the suboptimal function of PKK education related to gender, which still tends to focus on traditional activities. The purpose of this community service program is to optimize the role of PKK mothers in Jombang District in socializing PUG to realize inclusive national development. The research method used is a participatory approach through training, workshops, and mentoring. Through training and mentoring, this program equips PKK members with the knowledge and skills to become agents of change at the local level, so that they are able to realize more inclusive and equitable national development. The expected results are increased capacity of PKK members in advocating for PUG, increased public awareness of gender issues, and active participation of women in development. The conclusion of this program is that optimizing the role of PKK mothers is an important key in the socialization of PUG at the local level, which contributes to the realization of inclusive and sustainable national development. This program is in line with local government programs related to gender mainstreaming and women's empowerment. Keywords: Gender Mainstreaming (PUG), Inclusive Development, Community Empowerment

Abstract

Since artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly altered learning processes and methodologies, this article addresses the topic of using AI in student learning. This research aims to evaluate the statistical relationship between the use of AI and independent behavior, critical thinking, and acts of plagiarism. The research approach uses associative descriptive quantitative methods through surveys at Al-Falah As-Sunniyah University Kencong Jember. The research population consists of students who are familiar with the ChatGPT application, with research variables including ChatGPT use, independent behavior, and plagiarism. Data was collected through a questionnaire involving 50 respondents, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with the help of SPSS. Descriptive results show that 56% of respondents were men and 44% women, of which 68.8% of men were involved in plagiarism and 55.6% showed independent behavior. Inferential analysis revealed no significant relationship between ChatGPT use and plagiarism or self-directed behavior, based on Phi, Cramer's V, and Contingency Coefficient values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to comprehend how Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning activities at SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Jember use audiovisual media, especially videos, and to evaluate how effectively it works as a tactic to boost student interest and engagement. Using a qualitative approach and field research method, the findings demonstrated that using videos significantly improves students' comprehension and retention of the material, particularly when the videos' content is created by the students themselves and is connected to real-world experiences. Learning becomes more dynamic and significant when students participate in the video-making process. The school, through the Vice Principal for Curriculum, stated that the use of audiovisual media is in line with the implementation of the technology-based and student-oriented Independent Curriculum. From interviews with students, it is known that the use of videos makes the learning process more interesting, fun, relevant and able to increase their learning motivation. Therefore, audiovisual media is proven to be able to improve the quality of PAI learning and is recommended to be applied to other subjects as well.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the optimization of the fun learning approach in improving 21st century skills in Fiqh learning at MA Putri Nurul Masyithoh Lumajang. This approach is considered relevant to the development of 4C skills (Critikal Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication)  by students, which are the main pillars in facing global challenges in the modern era. The present study employed a qualitative approach of a phenomenological type, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The data presented herein were obtained from Fiqh teachers and students as the primary subjects. The findings indicated that the methodical implementation of engaging learning activities fosters an enjoyable learning environment, promotes active engagement, and enhances student creativity. Furthermore, an enhancement in critical thinking skills, group cooperation, and oral and written communication was demonstrated by students in the context of Fiqh learning. This study proposes that educators develop creative and contextualized learning methods to enhance the integration of 21st century skills in Islamic education. The pedagogical approach has been demonstrated to enhance the significance, appeal, and practicality of Fiqh learning. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis optimalisasi pendekatan fun learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 dalam pembelajaran Fiqih di MA Putri Nurul Masyithoh Lumajang. Pendekatan ini dianggap relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan 4C (Berfikir Kritis, Kreativitas, Kolaborasi, dan Komunikasi) yang menjadi pilar utama dalam menghadapi tantangan global di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis fenomenologi dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data diperoleh dari guru Fiqih dan siswa sebagai subjek utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan fun learning yang terstruktur secara sistematis mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, membangun interaksi aktif, dan menstimulasi kreativitas siswa. Selain itu, peserta didik juga menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis, kerja sama kelompok, serta komunikasi lisan dan tertulis dalam konteks pembelajaran Fiqih. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang kreatif dan kontekstual guna memperkuat integrasi keterampilan abad 21 dalam pendidikan Islam. Pendekatan fun learning terbukti mampu menjadikan pembelajaran Fiqih lebih bermakna, menarik, dan aplikatif dalam kehidupan nyata.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Beragamnya budaya, etnis, ras, dan agama di negeri ini, menjadi faktor utama dijulukinya Indonesia sebagai negara plural dan multikultural. Semua keberagaman tersebut, diikat oleh empat pilar negara Indonesia, yaitu Pancasila, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia dan Undang Undang Dasar 1945. Hal ini, terpotret dalam desa Sukoreno dengan bingkai indah berupa toleransi dan moderasi. Desa yang dulunya bernama gumuk lengar, belakangan ini dikenal sebagai desa Pancasila karena memiliki beragam budaya dan agama di tengah-tengah masyarakatnya. Karena sekian banyak agama yang dianut dalam desa tersebut, tentu budaya yang terdapat disana juga bermacam-macam. Toleransi dan moderasi menjadi kunci utama dalam mempersatukan masyarakat yang beragam tersebut. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah pada wujud kerukunan masyarakat plural dan faktor yang melahirkan relasi harmonis antar umat beragama di desa Sukoreno kecamatan Umbulsari kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode Participatory Empowerment Based Research (PEBR). Adapun metode penggalian datanya menggunakan tekhnik wawancara, observasi partisipatif dan dokumentasi dengan cara menggali informasi yang sesuai dengan tema yang sudah ditetapkan sebelumnya, yaitu: membangun relasi harmoni masyarakat plural di Tanah Reco Gumuk Lengar desa Sukoreno kecamatan Umbulsari kabupaten Jember. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tergambarkannya wujud kerukunan masyarakat plural dan faktor yang melahirkan relasi harmonis antar umat beragama di desa Sukoreno kecamatan Umbulsari kabupaten Jember

Abstract

So far, caring for corpses is still considered the duty of a village priest or kiyai, even though in Islam caring for corpses is fardlu kifayah, which means that if in one village there is already one person who cares for the corpse, then the other obligations fall, but if there is none who cares for the corpse, all people in one village are sinful. Caring for the corpse is the main obligation for Muslims, namely washing, shrouding, praying, and burying according to Islamic law. Particularly for the treatment of women's corpses, there are very limited numbers of people who can treat corpses. So that when a female member dies at almost the same time, she will experience problems and have to wait a long time for officers to treat the bodies. This service aims to provide understanding and skills to the community, especially women reciting lectures regarding the importance of caring for corpses. The dedication method is carried out for one full day by providing fiqh material related to the chapter of the corpse as well as the practice of caring for the corpse. The results of the dedication show that the mothers of the recitation understand the importance of caring for corpses, and are skilled at caring for corpses.
