Abstract

This research will compare two algorithms in the process of scheduling large-scale data that runs on VPS (Virtual Private Server) by utilizing an open source platform, Hadoop and Proxmox as a container for creating VPS. For the research method, it will use the FIFO algorithm and the delay scheduling algorithm, each of which will run on infrastructure that has been built previously. Of the three types of scenarios that are done by using two different types of jobs in job submission, it is obtained that the delay scheduling algorithm produces a smaller fail rate than the FIFO algorithm. This can occur because of the characteristics of the delay scheduling algorithm which is to improve job locality data but the more number of jobs the job fail rate performance will increase with the appearance of failures.

Abstract

The development of smartphones as tools used in research provides many benefits in several fields, including education, health, and agriculture. Digital image research developed in mobile apps can help us choose the best decision so that the results are by what has been planned. One of the developments in entomology is entomology research that uses digital imagery. In the dataset activity, researchers used the anopheles’s wings type as much as 22 image data. Fifteen types of Anopheles were used by the researcher with 100 experiments as test data. Image training and identification have the same process, taking pictures from a gallery or directly using the camera from an Android device. Preprocessing step in applications includes 1) converting image pixels to 100x100 pixels, then this pixel size becomes the standard of use in applications. 2) Convert an image to a binary using a threshold algorithm; this event is commonly called the Image Binaryization Process. Images derived from the threshold process are converted into one-dimensional vectors. Training Image and image identification using the Eigenface algorithm. The basic principle of the Eigenface algorithm is to quote the unique information of each image and then compare it to the image in the dataset. Identification with anopheles applications results in a good accuracy value with a success rate of 94.29%, with FMR value = 4.62% and FNMR = 2.78%.

Abstract

Pengembangan smartphone sebagai tools yang digunakan dalam penelitian memberikan banyak manfaat dibeberapa bidang, termasuk pendidikan, kesehatan, dan pertanian. Penelitian citra digital yang dikembangkan dalam aplikasi seluler dapat membantu kita memilih keputusan terbaik sehingga hasilnya sesuai seperti apa yang sudah direncanakan. Salah satu perkembangan dalam bidang Entomologi adalah penelitian yang menggunakan citra digital. Dalam penelitian ini, jenis anopheles yang digunakan untuk dataset sebanyak 22 jenis citra, untuk data uji penulis menggunakan 15 jenis citra dengan 100 kali percobaan. Training Image dan Identifikasi memiliki proses yang sama, mengambil gambar dari galeri atau langsung menggunakan kamera dari perangkat Android. Preprocessing dalam aplikasi meliputi: 1) mengubah pixel gambar menjadi 100x100 pixel, kemudian ukuran pixel ini menjadi standar penggunaan dalam aplikasi. 2) Konversi gambar ke biner menggunakan algoritma threshold, peristiwa ini biasa disebut Proses Binerisasi citra. Citra yang berasal dari proses threshold, diubah menjadi vektor satu dimensi. Training Image dan identifikasi citra memakai algoritma Eigenface. Prinsip utama algoritma Eigenface adalah menarik informasi yang unik dari setiap citra dan kemudian membandingkannya dengan citra dalam dataset. Identifikasi dengan aplikasi anopheles menghasilkan nilai akurasi yang baik dengan tingkat keberhasilan 94,29% dengan nilai FMR = 4,62% dan FNMR = 2,78%.

Abstract

Pandemic Corona Virus Diseas 2019 (Covid-19). Covid-19 is not the first virus to hit Indonesia because there have been other viruses such as the dengue fever virus and the bird flu virus which spread quite massively. The theme that is the focus of this program is socialization and education on preventing the transmission of COVID-19 by emphasizing Clean and Healthy Living Behavior. The method used in this program is socialization to online motorcycle taxis on Jalan Adiyaksa in Masale Village, Makassar City. This program consists of several activities such as distribution of amphlets and distribution of brochures, socialization of healthy living, Clean and Healthy Living Behavior, hand washing training, physical distancing habits, providing masks, and providing hand sanitizer assistance. The evaluation is carried out by considering the benefits of the program, the accuracy of the target and the accuracy of the method. This activity can help online motorcycle taxis find information about Covid-19 and be able to provide provisions for preventing the transmission of Covid-19 by implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle. In addition, by providing an understanding of health protocols which include Clean and Healthy Living Behavior, routine hand washing and physical distancing habits, in daily life, it is hoped that the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesian society in general and the people of Lombok in particular can be stopped immediately.Keywords: Online Ojek, Covid-19, Education

Abstract

Kemiskinan dan masalah sosial di Indonesia meningkatkan jumlah anak terlantar, terutama di daerah urban seperti Kelurahan Bulogading, Makassar, yang menghadapi tantangan signifikan seperti akses terbatas pada pendidikan, masalah gizi, dan perilaku menyimpang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk kepedulian masyarakat terhadap anak-anak terlantar di Kelurahan Bulogading, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dan bentuk-bentuk kepedulian masyarakat terhadap anak terlantar di Kelurahan Bulogading, Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling untuk memilih sampel yang representatif. Tiga RW dipilih sebagai sampel yang representatif untuk mewakili seluruh RW, dengan menentukan 20% dari total Kepala Keluarga (KK) yang mengasuh anak terlantar, menghasilkan 26 KK dari 128 KK. Sampel ini kemudian dibagi rata ke tiga RW yang telah ditentukan, dan seluruh KK sampel ini digunakan sebagai responden. Analisis data dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode tabulasi silang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kebutuhan dasar seperti makanan dan kesehatan anak-anak terlantar telah terpenuhi berkat solidaritas komunitas yang tinggi, perhatian terhadap pendidikan dan pengembangan keterampilan hidup masih kurang. Hanya separuh responden yang memberikan bantuan pendidikan, dan faktor ekonomi menjadi hambatan utama dalam meningkatkan kepedulian sosial. Hal ini mengindikasikan perlunya intervensi yang lebih berkelanjutan dan holistik untuk meningkatkan prospek masa depan anak-anak tersebut

Abstract

This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications related to the application of Artificial Intelligence in identifying and detecting malaria mosquitoes. Utilizing data from the Scopus database and data analysis stechniques supported by the Python programming language, this research evaluated productive journals, annual publication trends, leading authors, and dominant keywords. This study aims to evaluate publication trends, identify leading authors, and determine the dominant keywords in research on Artificial Intelligence applications for malaria mosquito identification. This research employed bibliometric analysis using data from the Scopus database and analytical techniques supported by Python. The analysis showed a significant increase in publications related to malaria and innovative technology and an increasing trend in publications over the past decade. Keyword analysis identified common research topics and provided recommendations for future research connections. This study highlights the benefits of integrating Artificial Intelligence in identifying mosquito species and automatic detection. It emphasizes the importance of bibliometric analysis in supporting decision-making within the scientific research community.

Abstract

During social delinquency, social distancing measures led to a significant rise in verbal harassment targeting adolescents in Indonesia. This study employs a descriptive-analytical approach and collects data through an online questionnaire administered to adolescents aged 11 to 24, with a total population of 182 individuals and a sample size of 182 respondents. The analytical tool used in this research includes the Childhood Experiences of Harassment Questionnaire (CEVQ) to measure verbal harassment experiences from peers and parents. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistics and qualitative content analysis, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. Findings revealed that adolescents, particularly girls, were more vulnerable to verbal harassment, resulting in heightened anxiety, depression, and feelings of inadequacy. Parental verbal harassment significantly affected cognitive development, self-confidence, and problem-solving skills in adolescents, highlighting the deterioration of their social and psychological conditions due to prolonged isolation during the pandemic. The implications of this study emphasize the necessity for interventions to address verbal harassment both within family settings and schools, underscoring the importance of psychological support for affected adolescents. Communities, schools, and families must collaborate to create safer, more supportive environments for adolescent mental health while establishing educational programs to raise awareness about the effects of verbal abuse among parents and the broader community.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi sistem informasi sangat pesat yang berbanding lurus dengan pertumbuhan yang sangat besar.  Data tersebut sudah sangat sulit untuk dikoleksi, disimpan, dikelola maupun dianalisa, dibutuhkan infrastruktur dan teknologi komputer yang disebut Parallel computing. Parallel computing adalah penggunaan beberapa komputer yang saling terhubung untuk mengolah data dalam ukuran yang besar dengan menggunakan Hadoop. merupakan platform untuk mengolah data yang berukuran besar (big data) secara terdistribusi dan dapat berjalan diatas cluster. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode FIFO dan Delay Scheduling pada Hadoop sebagai job scheduler. Kedua algoritma nantinya dibandingkan dan diimplementasikan pada berbagai jenis karakteristik job dengan menggunakan parameter respons time sebagai acuan perhitungan performansi sistem terhadap karakteristik tugas dan jumlah tugas yang dijalankan pada masing - masing job scheduler. Kata Kunci : Analisis, Hadoop, Delay Scheduling.

Abstract

The development of technology and digital communication has transformed social interactions among adolescents, particularly through sexting behavior, defined as the sending and receiving of sexually explicit messages, images, or videos via electronic devices. This study aims to explore sexting trends among adolescents in Makassar City. The research method employed is a survey, systematically collecting data from a representative sample of adolescents aged 12 to 18 attending various junior high and high schools. The results indicate that sexting behavior is relatively common among adolescents, with factors such as peer influence and access to social media significantly contributing to its prevalence. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of education and policy implementation in schools to address sexting issues, as well as the need for effective prevention programs. The contribution of this research lies in providing a better understanding of sexting behavior among adolescents and offering recommendations for interventions that can be undertaken by educators and parents. Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan konten otomatis menggunakan Generative AI untuk komunitas kreatif bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam memanfaatkan teknologi Artificial Intelligence dalam proses pembuatan konten digital. Teknologi seperti ChatGPT, DALL·E, dan platform serupa menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk mempercepat dan meningkatkan kualitas produksi konten yang efisien, kreatif, dan berkualitas. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan dalam hal akses dan keterampilan teknis di kalangan komunitas kreatif. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pengetahuan praktis dan teoritis tentang Generative AI, serta membekali peserta dengan keterampilan yang dapat digunakan untuk menghasilkan konten digital secara otomatis. Pelatihan ini juga mengedepankan pentingnya pemahaman etika dan tanggung jawab dalam penggunaan teknologi, terutama terkait hak cipta, privasi, dan bias algoritma. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan 60 peserta dari berbagai kalangan kreatif yang mengikuti pelatihan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan berbasis praktik langsung. Metode pelatihan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, persiapan materi dan tools, pelaksanaan workshop, pendampingan daring, serta evaluasi untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai Generative AI, dengan 95% peserta melaporkan pemahaman yang lebih baik. Sebanyak 85% peserta merasakan peningkatan produktivitas dan kreativitas dalam pembuatan konten. Pelatihan ini juga memberikan wawasan mengenai pentingnya etika dalam penggunaan AI, serta tantangan dalam mengoptimalkan teknologi untuk menciptakan karya yang lebih mendalam dan sesuai dengan konteks budaya lokal. Ke depan, pengembangan lanjutan dan bimbingan intensif diharapkan dapat lebih memperkuat adopsi teknologi AI dalam komunitas kreatif, meningkatkan daya saing mereka di pasar digital global, serta mendorong kolaborasi dan inovasi dalam industri kreatif.
