Abstract

Selama kurun waktu 1945-1950 wilayah Semenanjung Malaya menghadapi masa revolusi. Namun masa revolusi tentunya berbeda dengan di Indonesia yang mana Indonesia dihadapkan pada Agresi Militer Belanda dan juga tantangan dalam diplomasi dengan Belanda. Di negeri Jiran tersebut justru dihadapkan pada kekosongan kekuasaan, sehingga timbul sebuah upaya dari para Pemuda Melayu untuk mewujudkan Melayu Raya dengan bergabungnya Malaya ke Indonesia. Usaha tersebut gagal karena ada upaya Inggris untuk melakukan supremasi kekuasaan dengan mengajak para Kesultanan Melayu di bawah naungan UMNO untuk membuat sebuah pemerintah yang dikenal sampai saat ini sebagai Kerajaan Malaysia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi sejarah dan deskriptif analisis untuk menggambarkan situasi di Malaya sesuai dengan periodeisasi yang berlaku di Malaysia.

Abstract

Kajian ini mengangkat isu dugaan kasus pelanggaran yang terjadi di Masa Orde dalam konteksnya pada pembangunan Tol Jagorawi yang merupakan proyek strategis pertama pemerintah saat itu. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode historis. Selain menggunakan pendekatan historis kajian ini juga menggunakan pendekatan studi analisis. Adapun beberapa permasalahan yang diangkat yakni 1) bagaimana proses pembangunan Tol Jagorawi, 2) bagaimana reaksi masyarakat terhadap pembangunan Tol Jagorawi?, 3) bagaimana dampak dari pembangunan Tol Jagorawi 1978-1979.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang proses alkulturasi yang dilakukan oleh kelompok masyarakat Jawa di wilayah Tondano  Sulawesi Utara. Masyarakat Jawa di wilayah tersebut sudah lama melakukan migrasi tepatnya di masa kolonial Belanda. Mereka datang ke wilayah tersebut sejak masa era perang Diponegoro (1825-1830) atau perang jawa antara elit Pribumi Jawa dengan kolonial Belanda. Kehadiran mereka tentunya membawa proses alkulturasi di tengah-tengah masyarakat Minahasa sehingga terjalinnya hubungan harmonis antara Masyarakat Jawa dengan Masyarakat Minahasa. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menjabarkan proses alkulturasi Masyarakat Jawa Tondano.

Abstract

This article explores the role of school committees in supporting educational programs at the elementary level through a literature review. Achieving educational goals requires active involvement from the community and stakeholders, especially parents as primary users of educational services. Their participation plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education and fostering a collaborative partnership with schools. Therefore, school committees should function as strategic partners in implementing school programs. The findings indicate that a strong partnership between schools and school committees contributes significantly to improving educational quality. Committees are actively involved in coordinating with schools in planning both academic and non-academic activities, including social and community programs. Their roles encompass providing input, support, supervision, and acting as a communication bridge between schools and parents. When the functions and partnerships of school committees are well-established, schools can effectively implement various programs aimed at improving educational outcomes. This collaboration helps schools achieve their vision and mission while also increasing parental satisfaction. Ultimately, the active role of school committees becomes a vital element in strengthening the quality of education at the elementary level.

Abstract

SDN Cigugur Tengah Mandiri 2 is a favorite school in Cigugur Tengah Village, Cimahi City, West Java. In this school, there are various academic and non-academic activities, qualified and experienced teaching staff, adequate school facilities that are clean and comfortable, various achievements at the city and provincial levels, and good environmental management. This study aims to determine and describe the leadership behavior of school principals in improving the quality of education at SDN Cigugur Tengah Mandiri 2. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research informant was the principal. Selection of informants using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the leadership behavior of school principals in improving the quality of education is good, this can be seen in resource management, professional development, collaboration, communication, decision-making, monitoring, and school culture.

Abstract

Kajian ini membahas tentang perkembangan kerajaan Islam di wilayah Papua Barat. Di mana Islam pertama kali masuk ke wilayah Papua Abad ke- 16 Masehi. Wilayah Papua Barat adalah wilayah pertama kali yang mengalami proses islamisasi. Penyebaran agama Islam di Papua khususnya di wilayah Fak Fak tidak terlepas dari peran kesultanan Maluku yang membawa pengaruh di wilayah tersebut. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan historis.

Abstract

This article examines the existence and dynamics of the Rifa’iyah organization in Sukawera Village, Kertasemaya Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency, during the period of 2005–2020 by applying the four stages of the historical method: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. This study is significant considering that the existence of Rifa’iyah in Sukawera has received limited attention in local historical literature, despite the fact that this organization is an Islamic group that has endured various challenges from the colonial era through the Reform era. Originating as a cultural movement, Rifa’iyah has successfully maintained its existence through religious activities centered on the Tarjumah recitations and the development of educational institutions. These two activities serve as the main pillars in sustaining the continuity of the movement as well as representing the organization’s adaptation to social dynamics and changing times.
