Abstract

ABSTRACT Nahdlatul Ulama is one of the Islamic political parties that took part in the national political arena during President Soekarno's time from parliamentary democracy to the transition period from parliamentary democ­racy to guided democracy. NU's progress was closely related to its social and political factors which required NU to accept and integrate into President Soekarno's new government system. This paper aims to reveal the social and political factors that enabled NU to face and then accept guided democracy. This article employed a qualitative approach, particu­larly the historical study method. In tracing the socio-religious history in this study, the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiog­raphy were taken. The results showed that NU's social factors in dealing with guided democracy were due to the presence of the PKI which was so strong in national politics and so close to President Soekarno. To deal with the PKI, like it or not, NU had to enter the government in order to resist the PKI and divert President Soekarno's inclination towards NU. Mean­while, the political factor was to maintain NU's position in government, where had always received a share. NU efforts were done solely to protect Muslims, especially ahlussunnah waljamaah an-nahdliyah. Keywords: Guided Democracy, Nahdlatul Ulama, Socio-Political Factors.  ABSTRAK Nahdlatul Ulama merupakan salah satu partai politik Islam yang berkiprah di kancah perpolitikan nasional masa Presiden Soekarno sejak demokrasi parlementer bahkan mampu bertahan pada masa transisi dari demokrasi parlementer ke demokrasi terpimpin. Hal ini karena ada faktor sosial dan politik yang mengharuskan NU menerima dan masuk pada sistem pemerintahan baru Presiden Soekarno. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap faktor sosial dan politik yang memungkiakan NU mengha­dapi dan kemudian menerima demokrasi terpimpin. Artikel ini mengguna­kan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metodi studi sejarah. Dalam menelu­suri sejarah sosial keagamaan dalam penelitian ini, ditempuh tahapan heuristik, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunju­kan bahwa faktor sosial NU dalam menghadapi demokrasi terpimpin karena adanya eksistensi PKI yang begitu kuat dalam politik nasional dan kedekatannya dengan Presiden Soekarno. Untuk menghadapi PKI maka NU mau tidak mau harus masuk dalam pemerintahan dalam rangka membendung PKI dan mengalihkan kecenderungan Presiden Soekarno kepada NU. Sedangkan faktor politik adalah untuk mempertahankan kedudukan NU di pemerintahan yang sejak zaman demokrasi parlementer NU selalu mendapatkan jatah, hal ini dilakukan semata-mata untuk menjaga dan melindungi umat Islam khususnya ahlisunnah waljamaah an-nahdliyah.  Kata kunci: Demokrasi Terpimpin Faktor Sosial-Politik, Nahdlatul Ulama.

Abstract

The Nahdlatul Ulama Party is one of the Islamic parties that became a loyalist party to President Soekarno during the implementation of guided democracy. This is because the political strategy used by the NU Party is a realistic political strategy and tends to be accommodating and cooperative in dealing with President Soekarno’s new political situation, namely guided democracy. So that after the NU Party decided to accept guided democracy, the return of the 1945 Constitution, and the Nasakom and Manipol-Usdek, the NU party supported the leadership of President Soekarno, one of its supports was the awarding of a charter with the title waliyul amri adh-dharuri bi syaukah from Nahdlatul Ulama to President Soekarno. This paper aims to reveal the waliyul amri adh-dharuri bi syaukah title charter as moral support from the Nahdlatul Ulama Party to the leadership of President Soekarno during the guided democracy. The method used in this study is the historical method, while the approach used is the hermeneutic theory of Paul Ricoeur. The results of the study show that the waliyul amri adh-dharuri bi syaukah charter is a form of moral support from the Nahdlatul Ulama Party for the leadership of President Soekarno, so it has legitimized that the government led by President Soekarno himself is a legitimate government according to the eyes of fiqh law. This charter is also the basis for acceptance and support from the NU Party for President Soekarno and his guided democracy.

Abstract

Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui internalisasi nilai Pancasila melalui penguatan budaya Sunda di SMP Yayasan Atikan Sunda Kota Bandung. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif, penelitian dilakukan di SMP Yayasan Atikan Sunda Kota Bandung. Sumber yang digunakan untuk kepentingan penelitian ini adalah berasal dari sumber primer dan sumber sekunder, adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknis analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan keberhasilan dalam proses internalisasi lima nilai Pancasila ke dalam diri peserta didik. Adapun internalisasi nilai Pancasila melalui penguatan budaya Sunda di SMP Yayasan Atikan Sunda Kota Bandung terlihat pertama dalam penggunaan bahasa Sunda dan tatakrama sehari-hari, lalu peserta didik juga diwajibkan menguasai seni pupuh sunda dan menjadi standar kenaikan dan kelulusan peserta didik di sekolah. Kedua, dilakukan melalui ekstrakulikuler bernuansakan budaya Sunda yaitu seni penca, seni tari, rampak sekar, sastra Sunda, angklung, gamelan atau karawitan dan seni ukir wayang. Ketujuh ekstrakulikuler tersebut mengandung nilai-nilai Pancasila yang secara sadar ditanamkan oleh para pembina ke dalam diri para peserta didik. Abstract This article aims to determine the internalization of Pancasila values through the strengthening of Sundanese culture at the Atika Sunda Foundation Junior High School, Bandung City. This article uses a descriptive-qualitative research method, the research was conducted at Atika Sunda Foundation Junior High School, Bandung City. The sources used for the purposes of this research are derived from primary sources and secondary sources, while data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The technical data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman models, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show success in the process of internalizing the five Pancasila values into students. The internalization of Pancasila values through strengthening Sundanese culture at the Atikan Sunda Foundation Middle School in Bandung City can be seen, First in the use of Sundanese language and daily etiquette, then students are also required to master the art of Sundanese pupuh and this becomes the standard for the promotion and graduation of students at school. Second, it is carried out through extracurricular activities based on Sundanese culture, namely the arts of pencak silat, dance, rampak sekar, Sundanese literature, angklung, gamelan or karawitan and wayang carving. The seven extracurriculars contain Pancasila values which are consciously instilled by the coaches into the students.

Abstract

HKBP is one of the largest congregations in the world and has even spread to America and Europe. HKBP in Indonesia is a Christian Church based in Tanah Batak, namely in Tarutung City, North Tapanuli, North Sumatra Province. The main focus of this research is the history of the HKBP Resort Balige church. This research uses a historical research method which has four stages, namely stages heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The research results show that the history and development of the HKBP Ressort Balige Church began with the arrival of Christian missionaries to Batak Land, then built the HKBP church, which was consecrated as the HKBP Balige church by Ompu Ephorus Pdt. I.L. Nommensen. In its development, the HKBP Balige church developed well; this was marked by the social charities around the church, such as hospitals, Schools, universities and a Multi-Purpose Building which functioned as a public service to the surrounding community. The role of the HKBP Church in the social life of the Balige community as a fellowship of believers always requires order and order in the implementation of services. This can be proven by your willingness to be selected as an Elder, Deacon, or Servant on the Development Commission or on the Committee of an activity.

Abstract

Transformasi lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia subur terjadi pada masa akhir pemerintahan penjajah Belanda di Indonesia karena dua hal utama, yaitu sikap diskriminatif pemerintah Belanda terhadap kaum pribumi akan pendidikan dan munculnya pan-Islamisme dan melahirkan pola dan sistem pendidikan Islam yang modern. Artikel ini membahas mengenai transformasi lembaga pendidikan Islam dan berfokus pada kajian perkembangan madrasah dari masa ke masa di Indonesia. Artikel ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpetasi dan historiografi dengan menggunakan teori challenge and respons yang dipopulerkan oleh Arnold Joseph Toynbee. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa lembaga pendidikan Islam seperti halnya madrasah sudah ada sejak zaman Nabi Muhamamd Saw. dan para sahabat yang menjadikan masjid sebagai pusat pendidikan Islam. Sehingga pada perkembangan berikutnya lahirlah masjid khan yaitu masjid yang mempunyai fasilitas asrama bagi para penuntut ilmu. Lalu pada zaman kejayaan Islam dengan dibangunnya madrasah-madrasah di Naisaphur Iran dan Madrasah Nidzamiyah di Bagdad. Adapun madrasah masuk ke Nusantara pada abad ke-20 atau pada masa akhir penjajahan Belanda di Indonesia, dikarenakan umat Islam Indonesia mengalami sikap diskriminatif oleh pemerintah Belanda dan munculnya gerakan pan-Islamisme sehingga pada masa tersebut umat Islam Indonesia mendirikan madrasah-madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam selain dari pesantren. Setelah Indonesia merdeka madrasah diakomodasi oleh pemerintah melalui Departemen Agama (sekarang Kementerian Agama) dan melahirkan banyak kemajuan bagi dunia pendidikan Islam di Indonesia

Abstract

The emergence of the concept of religious moderation initiated by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and set forth in the 2020-2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) indicates that the program for internalizing and strengthening the values of religious moderation is very important and urgent to implement. The values of religious moderation consist of four points, namely national commitment, tolerance, anti-radicalism, and accommodative to local culture. The direction to internalize the four values of religious moderation is also played by the Anak Jalanan At-Tamur Islamic Boarding School, Bandung. This article aims to reveal the role of the Anak Jalanan At-Tamur Islamic Boarding School in internalizing the values of religious moderation to students. This article uses qualitative research methods that are field research. The research data were obtained from two sources, namely field data sources and library data sources. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentaries. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that success in internalizing the values of religious moderation to students could be seen from the indicators or values of religious moderation. The four indicators (values) of religious moderation are reflected in the routine activities and attitudes of students of the Anak Jalanan At-Tamur Islamic Boarding School. Commitment to nationalism, tolerance, anti-radicalism and accommodativeness to local culture is imprinted in the personalities of the students of the Anak Jalanan At-Tamur Islamic Boarding School. This is also due to two things: firstly, interfaith dialogue events are often held and secondly, the leader of the Anak Jalanan At-Tamur Islamic Boarding School who has a broad and open view and emphasizes morality in his education.

Abstract

This article aims to highlight the role and struggles of KH Idham Chalid during the New Order era in Indonesia. This article employs a qualitative research method with a historical approach consisting of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Primary data sources were obtained from historical books, including Ahmad Barjie entitled “Dr. K.H. Idham Chalid Ulama Politisi Banjar di Kancah Nasional,” Arief Mudatsir Mandan with the title “Napak Tilas Pengabdian Idham Chalid: Tanggung Jawab Politik NU dalam Sejarah,” and Abdul Rahman Jaferi Rahmadi and Ahmad with the title “Elite Muslim Banjar di Tingkat Nasional.” Secondary data was obtained from scientific articles, books, and other relevant literature related to the research topic. The data analysis techniques used were data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study found that the role and struggle of KH Idham Chalid during the New Order era can be categorised into two categories. First, he fought within the New Order government. President Soeharto trusted KH Idham Chalid to hold strategic positions. One of them was to succeed the Family Planning (KB) programme. Second, he fought outside the New Order government through the education sector by establishing Darul Ma’arif in Cipete, South Jakarta, and Darul Qur’an in Cisarua, Bogor. KH Idham Chalid also frequently held religious study sessions that were widely attended by the public and played a role in the establishment of the Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNNU) in Bandung, which later evolved into the Nusantara Islamic University (UNINUS). Exploring the history of the educational institutions established by KH Idham Chalid could serve as a valuable subject for further research.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendekatan Urban Green Building Pada Bangunan Apartemen. Kota Bandung merupakan kota metropolitan terbesar di Provinsi Jawa Barat, sekaligus menjadi ibu kota provinsi tersebut. Kota ini terletak 140 km sebelah tenggara Jakarta, dan merupakan kota terbesar ketiga di Indonesia setelah Jakarta dan Surabaya menurut jumlah penduduk. Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Bandung, saat ini perkembangan penduduk Kota Bandung berkembang pesat dan pada tahun 2018 tercatat 2 juta lebih penduduk, dengan berkembangnya jumlah penduduk yang semakin maju mengakibatkan aktivitas penduduk yang semakin produktif. Selain aktivitas penduduk yang semakin produktif kebutuhan akan tempat tinggal meningkat dan menjadi sebuah permasalahan terutama di perkotaan. Tingginya harga tanah dan semakin berkurangnya lahan kosong di kawasan perkotaan membuat masyarakat pendatang maupun masyarakat setempat kesulitan untuk membeli rumah maupun tanah di Kota Bandung. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah konsep hunian vertikal atau apartemen untuk tempat tinggal sebagai solusi akan mahalnya dan sulitnya lahan kosong di Kota Bandung. Minimnya ketersedian lahan kosong dan tingginya harga tanah di perkotaan beriringan dengan timbul beberapa permasalahan lingkungan yang terjadi seperti peningkatan sampah, efek rumah kaca, banjir dan lain-lain. Dengan adanya permasalahan ini timbul sebuah konsep urban green building. Urban Green Building adalah sebuah jaringan /system yang dibuat untuk mengurangi/ menanggulangi masalah-masalah di perkotaan dan perubahaan iklim dengan melibatkan alam. The city of Bandung is the largest metropolitan city in West Java Province and is the capital of the province. The city is located 140 km southeast of Jakarta and is the third-largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bandung City, the population of Bandung is currently proliferating. In 2018 there were more than 2 million residents, with the development of an increasingly advanced population resulting in more productive population activities. In addition to increasingly productive population activities, the need for housing increases and becomes a problem, especially in urban areas. The high price of land and the decreasing number of vacant land in urban areas make it difficult for immigrants and local people to buy houses and land in Bandung. Therefore, a vertical residential concept or apartment for residence is needed to solve the high cost and difficulty of vacant land in the city of Bandung. The lack of availability of vacant land and the high price of land in urban areas is accompanied by several environmental problems such as increased waste, the greenhouse effect, floods, and others. With this problem, a concept of urban green building emerged. Urban Green Building is a network/system created to reduce/overcome urban areas and climate change problems by involving nature. This research is expected to be a reference for his research and can be developed again to a wider scale. Because research on cultural heritage buildings is still quite extensive and there are not many people who take this theme as the theme of their research. Abstract

The debate about the involvement of Islamic boarding schools in the world of politics is in a tug of war, contradicting each other in the sense of experiencing pros and cons. Miftahul Huda Manonjaya Islamic Boarding School is one of the boarding schools in Tasikmalaya Regency, the founder of the Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School is late. K.H. Choer Affandi. There were 20 mandates that he left, one of which forbade him to enter the world of politics, but in the next reality, there were sons and grandsons of K.H. Choer Affandi who entered the world of politics. This article discusses Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School students who have entered politics, which seems to contradict one of Uwa Choer Affandi's mandates. This article aims to highlight the goals of Miftahul Huda Islamic boarding school students to enter the world of politics. This article uses qualitative research that is literature. The approach used is the theory of the relationship between religion and the state. The analytical technique used is the analysis technique popularized by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School has succeeded in producing scholars as well as politicians whose main goals and motivations are Islamic da'wah, understanding the ahli sunnah wal jamaah, amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, and entering politics in the case of Miftahul Huda (as KH Asep Maoshul and Uu Ruzhanul Ulum) is a mandate from the Kyai Council and in order to carry out the mandate of the late. The main thing for Uwa Choer Affandi is to maintain the aqidah of the ahli sunnah wal jamaah and in the context of izatul Islam wal muslimun (the glory of Islam and the Muslims).
