Abstract

Fenomena metaverse menggambarkan transformasi signifikan dalam interaksi manusia dengan dunia digital. Saat ini, pemerintah dan industri berupaya memahami arah pengembangan metaverse untuk mewujudkan digitalisasi dalam berbagai sektor. Penelitian ini menggunakan data media sosial X untuk melakukan analisis sentimen publik terhadap metaverse. Metode klasifikasi teks dibangun menggunakan model algoritma Support Vector Machine dan Random Forest. Dengan melakukan komparasi kedua model tersebut dan menerapkan metode optimasi SMOTE maka eksperimen ini menghasilkan akurasi yang tinggi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kedua model menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 91% untuk model algoritma Random Forest dan 90% untuk model algoritma Support Vector Machine. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model algoritma Random Forest lebih baik dari Support Vector Machine. Selain itu penerapan SMOTE terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan untuk mengenali sentimen positif pada keduanya, meskipun terjadi trade-off antara recall dan precision. Trade-off terjadi karena adanya keterbatasan dalam model klasifikasi yang membuat peningkatan dalam satu metrik akan mengakibatkan penurunan dalam metrik lainnya, karena algoritma harus mengambil keputusan yang mengoptimalkan keduanya secara bersamaan.

Abstract

As a mode of mass transportation, trains are one of the choices for people to travel. Safety and security of train travel are important factors in the implementation of railway transportation. One of the problems in railways is the low safety performance reflected by the high number of accidents. Machinists play an important role in the safety of railroad trave. The increasing number of schedules and trips as well as the lack of the number of machinists assigned to Divre II West Sumatra resulted in an increasingly dense schedule arrangement that affects the workload and mental burden felt by machinists and of course will also have an impact on the safety of the train journey itself. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on workload and mental load on machinists. This study aims to predicting the probability of train accidents in terms of factors affecting the level of fatigue, predicting the probability of train accidents in terms of factors affecting workload and mental load, analyzing the relationship between factors affecting workload and mental load felt by machinists in relation to train accidents. The method using modeling with a Bayesian Network Structure (SBN) using questionnaire data conducted on machinists in Divre II West Sumatera which is then analyzed using Gennie 2.2 Software to obtain the probability value of accidents that may occur to machinists based on the machinist classification level and finally find out what factors affect the workload and mental of machinists.

Abstract

Bridges are essential infrastructures that serve to connect two regions separated by various geographical conditions. Among the various types of bridges, suspension bridges are commonly used for long-span applications. The main structural components of a suspension bridge consist of the main cables and vertical suspenders. Due to their long spans, suspension bridges are susceptible to differential ground motions at each support, which may arise from varying soil conditions—this phenomenon is referred to as multi-support excitation. In this study, three types of analyses were conducted: static analysis, dynamic analysis under longitudinal seismic excitation, and dynamic analysis under transverse seismic excitation, using MIDAS Civil software. The soil conditions applied in all three analyses were assumed to be stiff soil at the left support and soft soil at the right support. The structural responses observed include internal forces and displacements. The seismic loads were defined using the time history method. The time history records were derived from the conversion of response spectra for the Bukittinggi region, considering both stiff and soft soil conditions. The results indicate that, in both longitudinal and transverse dynamic seismic analyses, the highest internal force values predominantly occurred at the support located in the soft soil area, except for moment values, which reached their maximum at the support in the stiff soil area. The maximum Dynamic Amplification Factor (DAF) in the longitudinal direction of the girder occurred at an element located at 0,25 of the span length on the right side, with a value of 2,621.

Abstract

The Jati Area in Padang City is one of the urban regions affected by flooding and waterlogging, particularly during the rainy season. The flooding issue in this area is not only caused by the insufficient capacity of the drainage channels but also by the lack of understanding regarding the hydrological characteristics of the region. Therefore, a hydrologically based modeling approach is essential to analyze and predict the response of the catchment area to rainfall, surface runoff discharge, and the effectiveness of the existing drainage system. In this study, the author models the drainage system in the Jati area using the HEC-HMS program, with the aim of obtaining the peak discharge value during extreme rainfall events and determining the timing of the maximum discharge. HEC-HMS is a widely used software for hydrologic modeling, particularly for simulating the runoff process from a watershed area. The research consists of three main stages: data collection, data processing, and drawing conclusions from the results. Based on the simulation results of the hydrologic modeling analysis of the drainage network in the Jati area, it was found that the channels at certain nodes are unable to accommodate the design discharge load, resulting in flooding due to the insufficient capacity of those channels. The results of this study can be used by policymakers for the redesign of drainage infrastructure, such as modifying the channel dimensions from a base width of 6.5 m, 6.8 m, and 6.8 m at reach 9, reach 10, and reach 11 respectively, to 8.5 m based on the peak discharge from the simulation results, which is 37.5 m³/s.

Abstract

Women's Empowerment is an effort to improve the position and role of women through guidance in carrying out an activity. In Ngelang Village, Kartoharjo District, Magetan Regency, a community service program was held that focused on empowering youth from Karangtaruna and village women through making bags from woven rope, netting, and plastic. This is because many Karangtaruna youth and women still do not have the skills they have. This service program consists of skills training for women in making woven bags from rope, netting, and plastic. The purpose of this activity is to provide weaving skills to the youth from Karangtaruna and women of Ngelang Village, who have an interest in increasing creative economic independence. Utilizing local wisdom and following current trends. The reason for choosing this weaving training is because the materials used are affordable, easy to obtain, durable, and can be produced by anyone who is willing to make the effort, and have good selling value. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The benefits of this training can open insights about weaving that can be done by women in Ngelang Village without having to leave the house. With bag weaving activities, village women can be more independent and increase family income. Keywords: Empowerment, Training, Plastic Weaving   Abstrak: Pemberdayaan Perempuan merupakan usaha untuk meningkatkan posisi dan peran wanita melalui bimbingan dalam menjalankan suatu aktivitas. Di desa Ngelang Kecamatan Kartoharjo Kabupaten Magetan, diadakan program pengabdian masyarakat yang berfokus pada pemberdayaan pemuda karangtaruna dan Perempuan desa melalui pembuatan tas dari anyaman tali, jali dan plastik. Hal ini disebabkan oleh masih banyaknya pemuda karangtaruna dan Wanita yang belum memiliki keterampilan yang mereka miliki. Program pengabdian ini terdiri dari pelatihan keterampilan untuk Wanita dalam membuat tas anyaman dari bahan tali, jali dan plastik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan keterampilan anyaman kepada para pemuda karangtaruna dan Perempuan Desa Ngelang, yang memiliki minat dalam upaya meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi kreatif. Memanfaatkan kearifan lokal dan mengikuti tren yang ada saat ini. Alasan memilih pelatihan anyaman ini karena bahan yang digunakan terjangkau, mudah diperoleh, tahan lama, serta dapat diproduksi oleh siapa saja yang bersedia berusaha, dan memiliki nilai jual baik. Metode yang digunakan Participation Action Research (PAR). Manfaat dari pelatihan ini dapat membuka wawasan tentang anyaman yang bisa dilakukan oleh perempuan desa ngelang tanpa harus meninggalkan rumah. Dengan kegiatan anyaman tas perempuan desa bisa lebih mandiri dan menambah pendapatan keluarga. Kata Kunci : Pemberdayaan, Pelatihan, Anyaman Plastik.

Abstract

This paper seeks to examine the effects of leadership styles and work discipline on employee outcomes at Sukses Mulya Magelang Enterprise using qualitative research methodologies. The research investigates the impact of transformational and transactional leadership styles on employee motivation and performance via the use of semi-structured interviews and focus groups with workers and managers. The key results emphasize the crucial role of leadership in creating a supportive work environment and improving employee engagement. In addition, the research explores the significance of work discipline in upholding corporate norms and fostering responsibility among workers. Effective leadership and strong work discipline are essential for attaining corporate objectives and maintaining a competitive edge. The acquired insights assist to improving management practices and cultivating a constructive organizational culture at Sukses Mulya Magelang Enterprise

Abstract

Pembangunan sarana MCK di Kawasan Agrowisata Bukit Labuang Limau Manis merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian masyarakat yang signifikan dari Jurusan Teknik Sipil Politeknik Negeri Padang. Inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas fasilitas sanitasi, sehingga dapat mendukung kenyamanan pengunjung dan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekitar. Proses pembangunan MCK dilakukan dalam dua tahap yang terstruktur. Pertama, tahap perakitan dilaksanakan di workshop kerja baja JTS PNP, di mana berbagai komponen MCK dipersiapkan dengan cermat dan sesuai standar teknik yang berlaku. Tahap ini melibatkan kolaborasi antara dosen dan mahasiswa, memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk menerapkan ilmu yang telah dipelajari dalam konteks nyata. Setelah proses perakitan selesai, tahap kedua adalah instalasi jaringan air di lokasi pembangunan. Dalam tahap ini, tim teknis melakukan pemasangan sistem perpipaan dan saluran pembuangan yang efisien, sehingga MCK dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan memenuhi kebutuhan sanitasi para pengunjung. Dengan adanya sarana MCK yang memadai, diharapkan Agrowisata Bukit Labuang tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan daya tariknya sebagai destinasi wisata, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi positif bagi kesehatan masyarakat serta lingkungan sekitar. Kegiatan ini mencerminkan komitmen Jurusan Teknik Sipil Politeknik Negeri Padang dalam pengembangan masyarakat dan peningkatan infrastruktur yang berkelanjutan.
