Abstract

Rahma (Rahma.id) is an Islamic website formed by a group of young Muhammadiyah women as a literacy medium with a moderate thought narrative. The purpose of this study is to analyze the literacy expression of young Muhammadiyah women in the Rahma network in the midst of social media expansion. This study uses a qualitative method with editors and contributor writers as respondents and uses the critical discourse studies paradigm of Teun A. van Dijk. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The phenomenon of the emergence of Rahma in the midst of social media expansion is an expression of young Muhammadiyah women to actualize gender equality in the contestation of Islamic discourse; (2) Rahma is a forum for young Muhammadiyah women who try to exist culturally and create social relations amidst the diversity of Islamic, Indonesian, and humanitarian narratives on social media; (3) Young Muhammadiyah women in the Rahma network read the current effective and balanced da'wah opportunities through digital literacy. (4) Although based on the young women's literacy movement in Muhammadiyah, Rahma is open, accommodating, and not limited to gender, age, organization, even religion as long as it is in line with Muhammadiyah's moderate Islamic mission.

Abstract

Novel Merantau ke Deli karya Hamka merupakan karya sastra yang memuat nilai-nilai hukum keluarga Islam di Indonesia yang kini secara legal formal disahkan dalam Undang-Undang Perkawinan dan Kompilasi Hukum Islam. Penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pesan-pesan yang ingin disampaikan oleh penulis novel tentang pembinaan rumah tangga Muslim di tengah adat budaya yang beragam dengan menggunakan paradigma sosiologi pengetahuan, pengkajian fiksi, dan maqasyid syari’ah kontemporer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa novel Merantau ke Deli menyatukan unsur keislaman, keindonesiaan, dan kemanusiaan sebagai napas nilai-nilai hukum keluarga Islam, serta disampaikan dengan pendekatan sastra. Keislaman dalam novel ini tidak hanya tergambar dalam keyakinan penuh para tokoh dalam cerita, tetapi juga disampaikan melalui alur cerita, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Keindonesiaan disampaikan melalui pertemuan dua adat budaya (Minang dan Jawa) yang disatukan dalam ikatan pernikahan namun berujung pada perceraian akibat fanatisme adat suku budaya. Sisi kemanusiaan berupa perlakuan terhadap kaum perempuan dan para buruh. Dakwah untuk menyampaikan nilai-nilai hukum keluarga Islam tersebut dilakukan Hamka melalui metode tulisan karya sastra dengan berbagai pendekatan dan kreatifitas dalam menyusun alur cerita.

Abstract

Anak Panah Muhammadiyah di Sumpur Kudus telah berhasil membangun kedekatan emosional dengan masyarakat sehingga misi dakwah dapat dijalankan dengan baik dan lancar. Capaian misi dakwah ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh strategi dan pendekatan. Anak Panah ini merupakan misi dakwah dengan mengutus dua kader atas nama Muhammadiyah ke Sumpur Kudus, Sijunjung, Sumatra Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis strategi dakwah Anak Panah Muhammadiyah di Sumpur Kudus tahun 2020-2022. Penelitian lapangan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan paradigma Bourdieu tentang habitus, modal, dan arena. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) dua kader Anak Panah memiliki habitus, modal, dan arena yang kuat, saling terhubung, dan saling mendukung sehingga misi dakwah ini berjalan lancar dengan berbagai capaian; (2) habitus, modal, dan arena tersebut saling terkait serta sejalan dengan strategi dakwah. (3) Strategi dakwah yang digunakan Anak Panah adalah kultural, struktural, mobilisasi sosial, moderasi, literasi, dan kolaborasi.

Abstract

Abstract: As the gig economy era reshapes the global workforce, job readiness demands more than technical skills. Therefore, transformative thinking, creativity, and English competence become crucial. This study aims to explore how students from various backgrounds perceive the importance and the role of English competence, transformative thinking, and creative thinking in the gig economy era. Furthermore, this study also analyzes the relation between students’ socioeconomic background and their level of English competence toward their job readiness. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through a reflective instrument based on open-ended questions designed to explore students’ views and strategies in facing the challenges of the gig economy era. Fifty-one students with different characteristics, including high and low achievers and socioeconomic backgrounds, volunteered for the study. Thematic analysis was used to identify mindsets and work readiness that emerged from their narratives. The findings revealed that English competence is strongly related to self-confidence, professional communication effectiveness, and the ability to build global connections. Meanwhile, transformative and creative thinking encourages students to think critically, adapt to change, design creative solutions, and think outside the box. Furthermore, developing work readiness requires motivation, engagement, and reflective thinking because these qualities enable students to adapt, learn, and perform well regardless of their financial situation.
