Abstract

AbstrakKawasan Karst Gunungsewu memiliki kondisi hidrologi yang khas sebagai akibat dari batuan yang mudah larut dan mempunyai porositas sekunder yang berkembang baik. Hasil penelitian terdahulu menyebutkan bahwa sebagian wilayah karst Gunungsewu yang merupakan area penyangga air banyak dialihfungsikan untuk kegiatan pertambangan. Analisis desertifikasi batuan karst menjadi penting diteliti dikarenakan mempengaruhi kerentanan ekosistem karst saat terjadi desertifikasi batuan. Desertifikasi batuan karst dapat diperoleh dari indeks batuan permukaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis desertifikasi dengan (1) mendeskripsikan persebaran tingkat desertifikasi, dan (2) data laju desertifikasi karst Gunungsewu menggunakan data spektral citra Landsat 8 OLI.Penelitian ini menggunakan penginderaan jauh dengan Normalized Difference Rock Index dan Normalized Difference Vegetation Index sebagai parameter menganalisis desertifikasi batuan karst. Jenis penelitian ini adalah diskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan analisis statistik spasial dan pengambilan sampel penggunaan lahan seperti lahan terbuka, tambang, pemukiman, vegetasi lebat, sawah, badan air dilakukan secara purposive. Pengambilan data dilapangan sebagai ground checking untuk mendapatkan data yang reliable.Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa persebaran tingkat desertifikasi batuan yang terjadi pada tahun 2019 karst Ponjong Gunungsewu didominasi oleh kriteria tingkat terdesertifikasi sedang tersebar dari selatan ke utara. Tingkat desertifikasi sedang memiliki kriteria tutupan vegetasi berkisar 20-40% dan singkapan batuan berkisar 50-70%. Kondisi tersebut mengalami tren laju desertifikasi menaik daripada 6 tahun sebelumnya.Kata kunci: Penginderaan Jauh, Desertifikasi Batuan Karst, Citra Landsat 8 OLI.

Abstract

This study investigates the presence of nationalist values within the narrative of early human cohabitation in cave shelters in Java, positioning it as a potential educational resource. The objective of this research is to examine how interactions between distinct racial groups, specifically Australomelanesoid and Mongoloid populations can be utilized to foster students’ nationalist consciousness. Employing a qualitative literature review approach, the study seeks to identify the embedded nationalist values in the inter-racial coexistence of prehistoric human communities in Java and assess their potential as learning materials to reinforce national identity among students. The findings of this research suggest implications for educational practice, advocating for the integration of prehistoric cohabitation narratives into the curriculum as a means to cultivate a deeper understanding of national identity and promote social cohesion among learners.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Dutch Military Aggression I (1947) and Dutch Military Aggression II (1948–1949) on the political development of Indonesia during the early years of independence. Employing the historical method (heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography) and a qualitative diachronic-synchronic approach, the research analyses primary and secondary sources concerning internal political dynamics and the Republic of Indonesia’s international relations in the period 1947–1949. The findings reveal that both Dutch military aggressions paradoxically served as crucial catalysts for the acceleration of national political consolidation and maturation in Indonesia. The First Aggression triggered international condemnation, transformed the Republic’s status from “rebels” to a sovereign state defending its independence, strengthened national solidarity, and gave birth to the integration of armed struggle and diplomacy—the precursor to the Total People’s Defense doctrine. Meanwhile, the Second Aggression, marked by the occupation of Yogyakarta and the arrest of republican leaders, led to the establishment of the Emergency Government of the Republic of Indonesia (PDRI), closer civil-military coordination, unification of political parties and societal organizations, and heightened global pressure that ultimately resulted in the recognition of sovereignty in 1949. Overall, Dutch military pressure expedited the transformation of political structures, bolstered the legitimacy of the Republican government, and secured both de facto and de jure recognition of Indonesian independence.

Abstract

This conceptual study explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital archives to develop an innovative inquiry-based learning model for local history education within Indonesia's Merdeka Curriculum. Through a systematic literature review, the research examines how AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Lens can mitigate challenges in source access and analysis, thereby fostering students' critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and historical literacy. The proposed model leverages digital archives to provide contextualized primary sources, while AI acts as a cognitive scaffold to support hypothesis formulation, text interpretation, and evidence evaluation. Findings suggest that this synergistic approach can transform students from passive recipients into active historical investigators, enabling meaningful engagement with local narratives. The study contributes to discourse on pedagogical innovation, digital resource utilization, and the development of 21st-century historical competencies in post-colonial educational settings.

Abstract

The collapse of global commodity markets during the 1929 economic crisis profoundly affected export-oriented colonial industries, including the sugar sector in the Dutch East Indies. While previous studies have examined the macroeconomic decline of the Javanese sugar industry during the Great Depression, limited attention has been given to how global market shocks reshaped labor conditions and local industrial structures at the factory level. This study investigates the impact of the 1929 global economic crisis on the labor conditions and structural transformation of the Sragi Sugar Factory in Pekalongan Regency during the period 1928–1933. Using historical research methods, the study analyzes colonial statistical reports, archival documents, newspapers, and secondary historical literature through heuristic, source criticism, interpretation, and historiographical synthesis. The findings show that the collapse of global sugar prices, which fell from approximately ƒ14.25 per quintal in 1929 to ƒ3.46 in 1934, triggered drastic production reductions across Java. At the Sragi Sugar Factory, these pressures led to significant structural changes, including production restrictions under the Chadbourne Agreement, declining plantation areas, and workforce reductions exceeding 60 percent. Labor conditions deteriorated through wage cuts of up to 50 percent, the replacement of permanent employment with daily contract labor, and increased economic vulnerability among workers and their families. Beyond immediate labor impacts, the crisis also transformed the regional economic structure as sugarcane cultivation declined and workers shifted toward subsistence agriculture and alternative sectors. This study contributes to the historiography of colonial economic history by demonstrating how global commodity crises reshaped labor relations and industrial organization at the local level within the plantation economy of colonial Java.

Abstract

Mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir historis berguna bagi siswa untuk memahami peristiwa masa lalu yang kompleks dan relevansinya dengan masa kini. Dalam pembelajaran sejarah, model inkuiri sering dipakai sebagai metode untuk melibatkan siswa secara aktif mengeksplorasi sumber sejarah dan membangun pengetahuan. Sudah banyak penelitian yang menunjukkan manfaat IBL terhadap partisipasi dan pemahaman siswa, namun kajian tentang pengintegrasian model ikuiri dengan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan arsip digital dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan memvalidasi model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis AI dengan pemanfaatan arsip digital untuk pembelajaran sejarah lokal di SMA Negeri 6 Semarang, sebagai produk utama. Penelitian mengikuti kerangka pengembangan Borg dan Gall yang dimodifikasi, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan model, validasi ahli, dan uji coba lapangan dengan siswa. Model yang dikembangkan mengintegrasikan alat AI seperti ChatGPT dan Google Lens untuk memudahkan akses dan analisis sumber primer digital. Validasi oleh para ahli menunjukkan skor kelayakan sebesar 79%, dan uji coba terbatas skala kecil maupun besar dengan siswa menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan yang tinggi. Melalui desain kuasi eksperimen, hasil posttest dijadikan ukuran pembeda keberhasilan antara penggunaan model inkuiri berbasis AI dan model inkuiri konvensional. Dari hasil analisis statistik dampak positif model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat dilihat dari perbedaan signifikan pada skor posttest (t = 19,576, p < 0,05). Meskipun terdapat persoalan terkait akses internet dan kemampuan teknis di awal pengembangan, hasil revisi produk secara berkala memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan partisipasi siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan kemandirian dalam penyelidikan sejarah. Hasil temuan penelitian memberi kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan dukungan teknologi AI dan Arsip Digital dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal, mampu meningkatkan pemahaman sejarah siswa secara bernakna, sehingga para pendidik dianjurkan untuk mengadopsi model ini guna meningkatkan pemahaman sejarah dan literasi digital bagi siswanya.
