Abstract

Majene Regency has regulations related to the swallow's nest tax, which is regulated in Regent Regulation (PERBUP) Number 33 of 2015 and Regional Regulation (PERDA) Number 8 of 2015. This regulation governs the procedures for implementing swallow's nest tax management as one of the potential regional revenues. However, in the field, taxpayer compliance is still low. Many swallow's nest entrepreneurs are not honest in providing information regarding the number of production and the time of reporting. Some taxpayers also do not understand or even ignore the existing rules. This study evaluates the compliance of swallow's nest taxpayers, including registration as a taxpayer, filling and depositing the Regional Tax Notification Letter (SPTPD), tax calculation and payment, and arrears payment to the regional treasury. The study results show that the four compliance indicators have not run optimally. The Regional Revenue Agency (BAPENDA) of Majene Regency needs to increase supervision and take decisive steps, including applying administrative sanctions to confiscate assets against non-compliant taxpayers. This effort is expected to improve taxpayer compliance and optimize wallet bird's nest tax revenue.

Abstract

Chlorophyll compounds have been widely developed in photoinactivation research as organic photosensitizer agents, especially those extracted from green plants. Besides being natural and containing antimicrobial substances, the characteristic electronic properties of chlorophyll atomic have a long lifetime at the triplet level, so it is highly probable to produce Reactive Oxygen Singlet (ROS) while light activates. This phenomenon can potentially be applied in the mechanism of Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) or Photodynamic Inactivation (PDI) in various types of pathogenic bacteria that trigger infectious diseases. Laser light that activates photosensitizer molecules produces singlet oxygen which is reactive and toxic to microbial pathogens. In this study, will be found the efficacy of Jatropha leaf extracts combinate nano silver to inactivate biofilm cells of Staphylococcus epidermidis after being inducted by a red laser. Analysis of the research data quantitatively and qualitatively described the reduction in the number of biofilm cells and damage to the morphology of the biofilm cells with various energy radiant lasers applied through a scanning electron microscope (SEM) profile. The results showed that the photosensitizer agent, which combined Jatropha extracts with nano silver, obtained an inhibitory effect of 60% for the non-oxygenated group and 80% for the oxygenated group.

Abstract

Peer interaction among primary school students is a natural social phenomenon, especially during break times, which provide students with the freedom to build relationships without academic pressure. Existing empirical studies have focused more on student interaction in the context of formal classroom learning, so that the spontaneous social dynamics and subjective experiences of students during break times have not been explored in depth. This study aims to examine the role of peer interaction in shaping the psychosocial development of primary school students during recess. The research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive design and was conducted at SD Inpres Nontotera, Bima Regency. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, classroom teachers, and students, as well as supporting documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results showed that peer interactions contributed to the development of empathy, social skills, and emotional regulation.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has encouraged the use of virtual laboratories as an alternative to practical experiments in science education. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of virtual laboratories on students' science process skills using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The data were obtained from scientific articles published between 2015 and 2024, sourced from Google Scholar and Garuda, with a total of 20 articles meeting the selection criteria. The results indicate that virtual laboratories are effective in improving science process skills through interactive simulation-based experiments, as well as enhancing conceptual understanding and student engagement. Therefore, virtual laboratories can serve as an effective learning medium to support science practicum activities.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era has encouraged the use of technology in various fields, including physics education. Practical activities play a crucial role in helping students understand abstract physics concepts through hands-on experiments. However, the implementation of physics practicums still faces various obstacles, such as limited laboratory facilities, limited experimental equipment, and manual measurement process, which can potentially lead to measurement errors and limitations in data analysis. This study aims to examine the development of Internet of Things (IoT)-based physics practicum teaching materials, focusing on sensor design, real-time data acquisition systems, and the integration of data analysis into learning. The research method used was a literature review, analyzing various scientific articles published between 2015 and 2024, obtained from scientific databases such as Google Scholar and national and international journals. The results of the study indicate that IoT technology has significant potential to improve the quality of physics practicums through the use of sensors, microcontrollers, and automated data collection systems that enable real-time monitoring of experimental data. Furthermore, the integration of contextual teaching materials and technology-based learning media has been shown to improve conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and student engagement in the learning process.
