Abstract

The Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM) is one of the programs organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Teaching Campus Program is one of the programs in the Merdeka Learning Campus Program which has the aim of teaching, as well as increasing numeracy literacy, assisting technology, and assisting school administration and teachers in target schools. One of the schools that became the target of the Teaching Campus Batch 4 program was SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan, which is located on Jl. Mustafa, Glugur Darat I District, East Medan District, North Sumatra Province. In the Teaching Campus program, students who are appointed to take part in the program have the responsibility of assisting the school in the teaching process, assisting with adaptation to technology, and assisting with school administration. In addition, Teaching Campus students have the responsibility to improve student character and increase student interest in learning after this pandemic. The purpose of student participation in the Teaching Campus program is a process of adding relationships, adding experience outside the world of lectures, developing students' insights, character and soft skills, encouraging and spurring national development by fostering student motivation to participate in development, as well as increasing the role and the real contribution of universities and students in the development of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Kabupaten PALI melalui pengembangan wisata kuliner ikan asap sagarurung berbasis experience economy. Experience economy adalah konsep di mana konsumen tidak hanya membeli produk, tetapi juga mencari pengalaman yang berkesan dan bermakna. Dalam konteks ini, pengunjung tidak hanya mencicipi ikan asap sagarurung, tetapi juga terlibat dalam proses pembuatan, mengenal budaya pengasapan ikan, dan menikmati suasana pedesaan yang asri. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif, yang melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan. Kegiatan dimulai dengan pemetaan potensi wisata kuliner ikan asap sagarurung, identifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat, dan penyusunan rencana aksi. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan wisata kuliner ikan asap sagarurung berbasis experience economy dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat Kabupaten PALI. Pengembangan wisata kuliner ikan asap sagarurung berbasis experience economy merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Kabupaten PALI. Melalui pendekatan ini, ikan asap sagarurung tidak hanya menjadi produk kuliner, tetapi juga menjadi daya tarik wisata yang unik dan berkesan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, menciptakan lapangan kerja, melestarikan budaya, dan meningkatkan citra daerah.

Abstract

Problems in conventional parking systems are still frequently encountered, such as difficulties in finding vacant slots and the lack of real-time information for drivers. This study aims to develop an IoT-based Smart Parking system capable of detecting parking slot availability and providing automatic voice navigation for drivers within parking buildings. The research method employed is prototyping, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, prototype development, and testing stages. The system utilizes ESP32 as the main microcontroller, infrared and ultrasonic sensors for vehicle detection, and a DFPlayer Mini module for voice navigation. Parking information is displayed in real-time on an LCD screen and the Blynk application via a WiFi connection. The test results show that the system achieved an average response time of 1.57 seconds, an accuracy rate of 94.7%, and stable performance under various test conditions. The components used are cost-effective, with an estimated prototype cost of Rp600,000–Rp1,000,000 per unit, making it feasible for real implementation in parking buildings. The system has proven to be responsive, efficient, and practical, and can serve as an innovative solution for modern parking management based on IoT technology and smart navigation
