Abstract

The importance of caring for the environment is owned by each individual from an early age, making research on how the effect of student responses on the character of caring for the environment in the tribe and understanding of students' concepts in thematic learning of our 8 themes of the environment of friends on the character of caring for the environment of students needs to be done. This study aims to examine the effect of student responses on the environmental care character of the inner tribe and students' conceptual understanding of the environmental care character of elementary school students. This type of research uses a mixed method of explanatory sequential design. The subjects of this study were 5th grade elementary school students. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The number of samples is 100 students. The research instrument is in the form of response questionnaires and questions as well as interviews with data analysis using statistics and Miles and Huberman. The results showed that students' understanding of concepts in thematic learning themed 8 was environmentally friendly and students' responses to the environmental care character of ethnic children in influencing the environmental care character of elementary school students. So that knowledge about caring for the environment of students greatly affects the improvement of the character of caring for the environment of students.

Abstract

Background: Suku Anak Dalam or commonly called Suku Anak Dalamare a community group who still adheres the traditions. Their life that depends on the forest makes them need to protect and preserve the forest where they live. This research aims to examine the environmental education of Suku Anak Dalam related to their environmental conservation and sanitation. Methods: This study used a qualitative-descriptive approach, with an ethnographic research design. The research informants were 10 people consisting of the Suku Anak Dalam and the outer community. Then the questionnaire distributed to 15 students who are of Suku Anak Dalam ethnic. Data analysis techniques are generally used in qualitative research, and added purposive sampling to analyze the samples that have been determined. Findings: The results show that Suku Anak Dalamin Nagasari Village use Traditional Law, namely the Seleko Adat, which presents local wisdom values to preserving the environment by referring to traditional law that obtained from generation to generation. The typical way of Suku Anak Dalam community in preserving the environment is variety. First, they have to plant 2 trees when the child born. Second, taking care of the environment, because Gods will be angry, example they would not use soap and they not defecate in the river. Third, enforcing Traditional law, because stricter than religious and state law. environmental conservation and sanitation knowledge is carried out from daily activities. Conclusion: Daily necessities such as bathing using bidaro leaves and urang aring leaves, washing in the river but not using detergent soap. They do not defecate into the river, but they have a toilet that located about 10 metres from the river. Novelty/Originality of this article: The novelty of this research lies in exploring how the Suku Anak Dalam community integrates traditional laws and daily practices into environmental conservation and sanitation, offering unique insights into their sustainable lifestyle.

Abstract

This activity aims to reveal how the regulations regarding the integration of Diniyah Takmiliyah Elementary Schools and Madrasahs are, find strategies that can be implemented to realize these regulations, and formulate possible efforts to ensure that the integration of Diniyah Takmiliyah Elementary Schools and Madrasahs in Jambi City is carried out smoothly. The integration development activities for Diniyah Takmiliyah Primary Schools and Madrasahs are carried out in 3 stages. The first stage is the stage of determining activity objectives, the second stage is the activity planning stage and the third stage is the activity implementation stage. Fostering the integration of Primary Schools and MDT is the first step in efforts to clarify existing integration regulations. This activity also opens communication between the Jambi City Ministry of Religion and the Jambi City Education Office in implementing educational policies involving both parties, for example in the implementation of religious education. This activity also revealed several problems faced by elementary schools and MDTs in implementing religious education. This activity is limited to the preparation and formulation of regulations based on analysis of problems found during the activity. The plan to formulate a policy text regarding the integration of Schools and MDT will be carried out as soon as possible as a follow-up step to this activity. This activity contributes to schools and MDT so that they can integrate well in carrying out the religious education process. This activity was also carried out to find strategies that could be used as an effort to form regulations regarding school integration with MDT in the city of Jambi.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengeksplorasi hubungan yang kompleks antara agama dan lingkungan, dengan fokus pada transintegrasi ilmu dalam upaya mencapai keberlanjutan lingkungan. Pembahasan artikel terbagi menjadi dua sub-bahasan utama. Pertama, artikel menjelaskan konsep tanggung jawab sosial dan moral terhadap alam, menggarisbawahi pentingnya kesadaran akan peran aktif manusia dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem. Kedua, nilai-nilai agama dan prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan lingkungan. Sintesis antara nilai-nilai agama, seperti tanggung jawab sebagai khalifah di bumi, dan prinsip-prinsip ekologis menciptakan landasan yang kokoh bagi tindakan berkelanjutan. Artikel menyoroti pentingnya mengintegrasikan dimensi spiritual dan prinsip-prinsip ekologis untuk membentuk pandangan holistik terhadap lingkungan keberlanjutan. Dengan menggabungkan nilai-nilai agama dengan prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan, manusia dapat membentuk visi yang mendalam dan berdaya tahan terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan. Dengan demikian, artikel ini tidak hanya menyoroti kompleksitas hubungan antara agama dan lingkungan, tetapi juga menawarkan wawasan mengenai bagaimana pemahaman dan praktik tanggung jawab sosial, moral, nilai-nilai agama, dan prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan dapat membentuk perilaku individu dan masyarakat menuju keberkelanjutan lingkungan.

Abstract

Identification of Understanding the Concept and Character of Caring for the Environment. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between students' responses to the cultural values of the inner tribe, the character of students' environmental care, and student learning outcomes on environmental materials. Methods: This type of research is a mix method research with an explanatory design. Mix method research consists of quantitative research and qualitative research or commonly called mixed research. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with the research sample being class VIII students at SMPN 01 Muaro Jambi and SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi. Findings: Based on the results of the correlation test with the results of the value of sig. (2-tailed) which is less than 0.05 Conclusion: Based on the correlation test that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between students' responses to the cultural values of the inner tribe, the character of caring for the environment and student learning outcomes in both schools. Keywords: environmental care character, inner tribe, conservation, natural science.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i1.202206
