Abstract

(The rise of e-commerce or online shops has made the number of shipping service companies increase. Delivery service companies need to analyze consumer preferences in selecting delivery services when shopping online so that they can continue to compete. This study aims to analyze the attributes or important factors that influence consumers and how much influence these factors have on consumer preferences. The AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method is used to obtain the important factors and the discrete choice method with the multinomial logit model to analyze the influence of factors on consumer preferences. With the AHP method, three important attributes are obtained including cost with a value of 4.248, insurance with a value of 1.729, and delivery time with a value of 1.471. Judging from the influence on preferences, the cost factor and delivery time have a negative effect, which means that the lower the rate and the faster the time will increase customer satisfaction. While the insurance factor has a positive effect, which means that consumers prefer insurance. The most influential factor is cost with a parameter value of -1.97, then insurance with a parameter value of 1.66, and finally delivery time with a parameter value of -0.564. Based on gender, the results show that women's considerations of the cost attribute are higher than men's considerations. Meanwhile, based on allowance, the higher the allowance, the more important insurance and delivery time are considered.

Abstract

The inability to systematically process large volumes of unstructured student feedback hinders the enhancement of academic service quality in higher education. To address this challenge, this study develops an Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) model using a fine-tuned BERT architecture. applied to 1,110 student reviews at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The model was trained and evaluated using a dataset of 1,110 student reviews, filtered from an initial dataset of over 40,000 raw data points. To assess its performance, standard metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score were employed. The model demonstrated high performance, achieving an overall accuracy of 98.6% and an F1-score of 0.92 for identifying service aspect terms. The analysis successfully extracted key aspects, including staff interaction, administrative processes, and service efficiency. Critically, it revealed that staff interaction was the aspect with the most significant negative sentiment, providing a clear target for institutional improvement. This research confirms that the BERT-based ABSA model is a reliable and scalable tool for transforming qualitative student feedback into actionable, data-driven insights, enabling targeted enhancements to academic service quality.

Abstract

Pemeliharaan pencegahan merupakan suatu tindakan pemeliharaan yang bertujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya kerusakan yang kecenderungan kerusakannya telah diketahui atau dapat diperkirakan sebelumnya. Melalui pemanfaatan prosedur preventive maintenance yang baik, dimana terjadi koordinasi yang baik antara bagian produksi dan bagian perawatan. Minimnya perhatian terhadap peralatan, seringkali menyebabkan penggunaan peralatan tanpa memperhatikan kondisi alat tersebut masih layak atau tidak untuk dipakai. Pentingnya monitoring peralatan di laboratorium fakultas Teknik agar bisa menanggulangi kerusakan fatal dan bisa digunakan secara berkala, maka dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang bisa mengontrol mesin agar tidak terjadi breakdown peralatan di setiap Laboratorium Fakultas Teknik. Berdasarkan pokok permasalahan yang ada di Laboratorium Fakultas Teknik UMS maka dilakukan penelitian agar dapat menghasilkan sistem informasi yang bisa mendokumentasikan terkait penjadwalan perbaikan dan penggunaan peralatan yang ada di laboratorium dengan membuat sebuah website dengan menggunakan Bahasa Pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dan database yaitu MySQL.
