Abstract

Semakin masifnya perkembangan dunia teknologi memaksa dosen sebagai pendidik untuk berinovasi dalam proses pembelajaran, baik dari sisi penggunakan metode maupun penggunakan media pembelajaran terus dicari pembaharuannya. Salah satunya adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual dengan menggunakan windows movie maker dimana dalam software ini tersedia fitur-fitur lengkap untuk mendesain video pembelajaran sesuai dengan konten ajar yang akandisampaikan oleh para pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain time series. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk test yang terbagi dalam pre test (tes kemampuan awal) dan post test (tes kemampuan akhir) yang kemudian hasil tes tersebut diprediksi dengan menggunakan support vector machine untuk dapat memprediksi pemahaman materi matakuliah akuntansi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari pembagian 4 parameter (kurang, baik, sangat baik, dan istimewa) menunjukkan grafik mayoritas sangat baik. Sementara itu Akurasi yang didapatkan dari penelitian PenggunaanMedia Windows Movie Maker Untuk Memprediksi Pemahaman Matakuliah Akuntansi Dengan Metode SupportVector Machine yang diolah menggunakan Rapid Miner adalah 79,55%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an IoT Playground as an interactive demonstration system that supports technology-based foundational learning. The product developed, called KERETA (Kendali Energi Rumah Edukatif Terpadu Otomatis), is a smart-lamp prototype in the shape of a train head designed to increase elementary students’ interest in learning through contextual and exploratory approaches. The system utilizes a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller integrated with the Blynk application to wirelessly control and monitor the device via the internet. The research employed the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with a limited trial involving 44 elementary school students. Practicality test results showed positive responses from teachers (89.5 percent) and students (86.7 percent), indicating that the tool is easy to use and effective in enhancing students’ understanding of basic Internet of Things (IoT) concepts. Effectiveness analysis using a paired t-test revealed a significant increase in students’ knowledge and learning participation after using the tool. The product functions not only as an interactive learning medium but also as a means of fostering digital literacy among young children. The IoT Playground KERETA innovation is expected to serve as a foundation for supporting the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision through the integration of technology in primary education.

Abstract

Legal issues in a multiethnic society lie in the implementation of Article 2 of the Regulation of the Chief of Police Number 8 of 2021 concerning Handling of Criminal Acts Based on Restorative Justice. One form of restorative justice is Palanta Baselo Nagari Sungai Duo which is used to resolve criminal cases in a multiethnic society in the jurisdiction of the Sitiung Police, Dharmasraya Police. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by Palanta Baselo in handling criminal cases based on restorative justice. This research is empirical legal research with analytical descriptive specifications. The findings of the study conclude that the resolution of criminal cases through Palanta Baselo Nagari Sungai Duo in a multiethnic society in the jurisdiction of the Sitiung Police, Dharmasraya Police has been implemented. However, in practice, there is still a lack of facilities and infrastructure to support mediation. In addition, traditional figures who act as mediators also lack the skills to reconcile the disputing parties. Although the penghulu (traditional figure) is a respected and revered figure, they have not been equipped with the knowledge and skills to carry out mediation efforts effectively.
