Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang Penerapan Terapi Brainwave Entrainment dengan Menggunakan   Gelombang   Audio   dalam   Meningkatkan   Hasil  Belajar   Matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII MTs. Negeri Balang-balang Kabupaten Gowa sebelum dan setelah penerapan terapi Brainwave Entrainment dengan menggunakan gelombang audio pada jenis gelombang alfa (α), hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII MTs. Negeri Balang-balang Kabupaten Gowa sebelum dan setelah penerapan terapi  Brainwave Entrainment dengan menggunakan gelombang audio pada jenis gelombang beta (β), dan mengetahui adakah perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika setelah penerapan terapi brainwave entrainment dengan menggunakan gelombang audio pada jenis gelombang alfa (α) dan jenis gelombang beta (β) pada siswa kelas VII MTs. Negeri Balng-Balang Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan menggunakan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design, dimana terdapat dua kelompok eksperimen. Kelompok eksperimen I diberi terapi gelombang otak dengan jenis gelombang alfa (α), sedangkan kelompok eksperimen II diberi terapi gelombang otak dengan jenis gelombang beta (β). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs. Negeri Balang-Balang Kabupaten Gowa yang berjumlah 251 siswa sedangkan sampelnya adalah kelompok eksperimen I dan II yang masing-masing berjumlah 36 dan 35 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar siswa, berupa pre test dan juga post test. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistiik inferensial. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif pada kelompok eksperimen I yakni, nilai rata-ratanya pre test adalah 56,667 dan nilai rata-rata post test adalah 64,0196. Sedangkan kelompok eksperimen II nilai rata-rata pre test  adalah  51,6162  dan  nilai  rata-rata  post  test  adalah  62,4242.  Berarti  untuk  Kelas eksperimen I terjadi peningkatan sebesar 7,3526, sedangkan untuk kelas eksperimen II terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 10,808. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dengan SPSS 17 maka diperoleh   sign =   0,617 dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa diterima   karena  sign  (2  tailed)  >      atau  (0,617 >    0,05).    Dengan  demikian  dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang diberi terapi brainwave entrainment pada jenis gelombang alpha (α) dan jenis gelombang beta (β) pada   siswa kelas VII MTs. Negeri Balang-Balang Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

This research study aims for finding of: (1) the construct underlying the instrument to measure the emotional intelligence of the intellectually gifted students, (2) the measurement instrument satisfying the construct validity requirement, (3) the factors being constructed from the measurement instrument, and (4) the measurement instrument satisfying the reliability requirement. Conseptually, the construct of the emotional intelligence of the gifted students consists of two domains, namely: (1) the emotional intelligence qualified as being intrapersonal along with self-awareness, self-regulation, self motivation dimensions, and (2) the emotional intelligence qualified as being interpersonal along with emphaty dimensions and working together. Of the items being validated by using expert judgement with the coefficient reliability of 0,89 and the other eighty six items are selected for the instrument to measure the emotional intelligence of the intellectually gifted students. Empirically, the factor analysis using the method of Maximum Likelihood successfully has extracted sixty nine factors in the first try out and sixty five factors in the second try out. The reliability test suggests that bacause the alpha stratified coefficient for multidimensions is 0,815 of the measurement instrument is strongly reliable. The most significant finding of this research is the instrument to measure the emotional intelligence of the intellectually gifted students has an appropriate construct validity and internal consistency.

Abstract

This research aimed (1) To find out the student’s learning outcomes by using learning strategies Numbered Heads Together (NHT) on the material digestive system for students of class XI MAN Pinrang, (2) To find out the student’s learning outcomes by using a learning strategies Reading Guide on material digestive system for students of class XI MAN Pinrang and (3) To find  out a significant differences between the results of student’s learning by using learning strategy Numbered Heads Together (NHT) than students who using learning strategy Reading Guide on material digestive system for all students of class XI  MAN Pinrang. The type of research used in this study was a quasi-experimental research (quasi- experimental) that used the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The populations in this research were all students of class XI MAN Pinrang in academic year 2015/2016 which consisted of six classes. The technique  of sampling used in this research was simple random sampling, selected as the first experimental class was the class XI IPA4 as many as 37 students and selected as second experimental class II was the class XI IPA6 as many as 37 students. Technique of collecting data used by using a test instrument that has multiple choice questions of 25 questions relating to the material digestive system and observation sheet. Technique of data analysis used the descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis.The results obtained in both groups through a descriptive statistical analysis were, the average results of studying biology by using learning strategy Numbered Heads Together (NHT) at = 75.16 while the average result of studying biology by  using learning strategy Reading Guide amounted to 75.43.  The results of inferential data  analysis showed that significant value was obtained thitung 9.734> ttabel 1.998 and significance (0.000 <0.05). So, it can be concluded that there were significant differences by using learning strategies between Numbered Heads Together (NHT) with Reading Guide on biology learning outcomes for students of class XI at MAN Pinrang.

Abstract

This research is research that is korelasional which aims to find out the correlation between self effcacy and communication apprehension of Biology Education Student. The method of sampling using simple random sampling with a population of 136 scattered into four classes are homogeneous with 68 people as the sample in this research. The instruments used are self effcacy scale and scale anxiety talking compiled by researchers based on indicators of each variabel.Analysis of the research of the correlation analysing using pearson product moment. Upon analysis it was found that there isa negative relationship between self effcacy with anxiety speaks at seminar of biology courses with grades nilai  r =- 0,456 ( = 0,01). This means that the higher self effcacy students then lower the level of anxiety of passionate speeches, neither the opposite

Abstract

Karambi learning media is a board game played by several people and there is an element of teamwork. Karambi learning media has several advantages such as training focus, fostering curiosity, increasing interest and motivation and increasing student activity in learning. This research is included in Research and Development to develop a valid, practical and effective Karambi learning media. This study adapts the development model of Tjeerd Plomp (1997) which consists of several stages, namely preliminary research (Preliminary Investigation), design phase (Design), realization/construction phase (Realization/construction), test phase, evaluation and revision (Test, Evaluation and Revision), as well as the implementation phase (Implementation) . However, at the implementation stage it was only carried out on a limited scale, namely in class XI MIPA SMAN 5 Soppeng. The target of this research is the students of class XI MIPA 1 SMAN 5 Soppeng, totaling 28 students. The research instrument used is a questionnaire and items. Questionnaires are used to measure practicality, while items are used to measure the effectiveness of Karambi's media. The results of the study indicate that the Karambi learning media developed on the excretory system material has a validity value of 3.78 with a very valid category, the level of practicality based on the results of the questionnaire shows a practical category with a total value of 3.48. While the level of effectiveness of the media based on the test of student learning outcomes is categorized as effective because it reaches 100% completeness value. The implications of this research are 1) Karambi learning media on the excretory system material can be used as a media to support learning. 2) Karambi learning media is feasible to be applied as a learning medium to increase student activity. 3) Karambi learning media can be implemented in other schools with various biological materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the strategic management approach used to improve teaching standards at Al Bayan Junior High School Makassar City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used include notes, interviews, and observations. This research uses three activity streams for qualitative data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion drawing. The data triangulation technique was used in assessing the validity of the data. The findings show that: (1) Al Bayan Junior High School Makassar City conducts integrated, methodical, and comprehensive planning through the following stages in order to realize the quality of education: a) Examining the school's internal environment both material, technical, and human resources. b) Examining the geographical, social, and economic context outside the school. c) Careful observation and in-depth analysis. (2) In implementing initiatives aimed at raising educational standards, Al Irsyad leaders use the following policies: a) Continuous process improvement. b) Creating standards for school improvement and quality assurance. c) Establishing a school culture. d) Modifying the organizational structure. e) Maintaining positive interactions with customers. (3) To verify that a high-quality education program has been achieved, evaluation is also conducted in the following ways: a) by tracking all results from planning and implementing strategic management activities. b) evaluating student and individual performance. c) providing reports on how all actions were carried out; and d) making necessary corrections.
