Abstract

One feature of a smartphone device that is still often used is the exchange of messages such as text chat. This exchange of information generally knows no distance, can be far or close. This requires security of the confidentiality of information sent from the source to the target. One way to get the security of communication is by applying cryptographic techniques so that the message sent to the target can be secured. The cryptographic technique used in this study is Vigenere Cipher. The Vigenere Cipher algorithm is used to encode text conversations so that messages sent via the internet can be maintained as well as with confidentiality. The purpose of this study is to build a text conversation cryptographic application that can run on Android-based smartphone devices. The technique can encrypt text conversations into secret messages which then the results (messages) are sent using a message sending application such as SMS (Short Message Service), Whatsapp and Line. Then when the message arrives at the destination, the description is done automatically so that the original message can be read.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah kegiatan manusia yang kehidupan sehari-harinya masih melakukan sesuatu dengan cara manual seperti memberi pakan ikan. Ikan biasanya dipelihara di kolam ataupun di akuarium. Dalam pemeliharannya peternak ikan harus mengkontrol pakan ikan dengan tepat waktu dan teratur, dimana dalam pemberian pakan ikan ini masih menggunakan cara manual sehingga dibutuhkan alat dan sistem yang bisa memantau dan mengkontrol secara otomatis. Pada penelitian ini membutuhkan mikrokontroler Raspberry Pi yang akan menghubungkan ke kamera dan sistem buka tutup pakan ikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Raspberry Pi berhasil dilakukan menggunakan bahasa program python. Raspberry Pi dapat bekerja dengan baik ketika di kombinasikan dengan kamera module dan dapat dilihat hasinya di web browser sebagai media visual pada penelitian ini. Kesimpulannya pemberian pakan ikan berkerja secara baik dan dapat dipantau menggunakan wireless local are network.

Abstract

Covid-19 entered Indonesia on Monday, March 2, 2020, to be precise in the city of Depok, West Java. The worsening of the Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia has made the government give an appeal to the public to implement 3M as a prevention of Covid-19 in Indonesia. Distance or physical distancing is an advice from the government. In its application, one must wear a mask, wash hands and maintain a distance of at least 1 meter. The impact of the Covid-19 outbreak, activities in Indonesia have become completely paralyzed starting from March 2020. One of them is in education. During the pandemic, the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Education and Culture made a policy for schools and universities to carry out teaching activities boldly, because many parents/guardians felt these activities were very irrelevant. The closure of schools and universities has a clear negative impact on health, education and development. To overcome this, a warning tool is needed to implement physical distancing in face-to-face learning with a smart jacket using an Arduino Uno microcontroller, ultrasonic sensor, PIR sensor, buzzer and LCD i2c. The results of the test and implementation of this system are when an object approaches less than 100 cm. it will activate the buzzer as a warning to users and objects to apply physical distancing and the i2c LCD as distance information and warnings in the form of objects. From the results of testing this tool works well and is able to overcome the problems experienced by the community

Abstract

Pada prinsipnya tujuan penciptaan robot adalah untuk mempermudah kegiatan manusia bahkan menggantikan peran manusia dalam suatu fungsi tertentu, salah satunya yaitu dalam hal membuka dan menutup pintu rumah. Salah satu usaha untuk memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan bagi manusia tersebut adalah melalui pengembangan sistem otomasi pada rumah yang dapat membuka dan menutup pintu secara otomatis. Robot ini dirancang dengan sebuah perangkat pengaman pada pintu bebasis Arduino Uno. Alat ini berisi rangkaian mikrokontroler seperti Arduino uno, motor servo, bluetooth dan satu buah smartphone. Alat pengaman Bluetooth ini bekerja memakai arduino uno sebagai mikrokontroler. Motor servo sebangai alat untuk membuka dan menutup pintu tersebut dan sebagai media transmisi dan smartphone digunakan sebagai remender serta pengaplikasian password pada smartphone android. Alat ini bekerja berdasarkan motor servo yang digunakan untuk membuka dan menutup pintu dengan motor servo. Motor servo akan membuka dan menutup sesuai perintah yang diinginkan dengan cara menekan tombol button yang tersedia di Android.

Abstract

Abstract - In this study, an IoT-based door security system was proposed which facilitated homeowners to open and close doors and unlock doors through the internet. The system is also equipped with a real time video streaming feature so that the owner can save the environment around the door and ensure the person at the door before opening it. The Raspberry Pi is used as the main controller of the system that provides web pages for users and signatories to access Arduino Uno boards. Arduino Uno controls the servo to control the door. The camera used in this study is a Raspberry Camera with 5 MP resolution. From the results of the tests carried out, the results of the system that have been made can work well. Expected full service and response to changes in users on web pages is also quite fast. Streaming video runs smoothly at 30 fps with a resolution of 640x480.Keywords - Raspberry Pi, Streaming Video, Internet of Things, Door Control

Abstract

The development of technology in the IT field is currently growing rapidly and has become a benchmark in the development of human life. Technology has made work done by humans more efficient and less harmful to humans, especially in terms of maintaining health during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because there are still many people who directly touch the facilities provided in public places, such as hand sanitizers. This tool was built to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at this time and can implement social distancing. In the manufacture of this automatic hand sanitizer, ultrasonic sensors and a mini dc water pump are used. The use of ultrasonic sensors can minimize other people to directly touch the tools provided. The way this tool works is very simple, the first step taken is to bring the hand closer to the sensor with a vulnerable distance of 3cm to 5cm, if the sensor captures the object's signal from a predetermined distance, the pump will automatically pump the hand sanitizer out automatically. Keywords: Hand Sanitizer, Ultrasonic, Mini DC Water Pump, Arduino uno, COVID-19

Abstract

The development of the use of technology in the industrial world is growing rapidly, it makes conventional tools and machines begin to be abandoned and then switch to more modern tools and machines with automatic control, thus helping the workforce to work more optimally. Selection of goods is an activity that is mostly carried out in the industrial world in the process of export and import activities, such as grouping by temperature. Previously some of the shrimp selection was done manually, this process is very inefficient because it requires a lot of time and effort. The ATmega32 microcontroller (Arduino Uno) functions as the control center of the system, infrared temperature sensor with the MLX90614 series which functions to detect the temperature scale, DC motor as a conveyor drive, IR sensor detects shrimp objects that pass and makes the computer stop then the temperature sensor will detect the temperature of the shrimp object and displays the temperature value on the 20x4 LCD. The servo motor as a sorter forms a partition or gate indicating which direction the shrimp object will be positioned. Through the stages of the mechanical design process and system programming using the Arduino IDE program, as well as the results of testing and data analysis, a system that can work well and continuously is obtained. Although the system is designed only in the form of a prototype, but by using equipment with industrial standards it can be applied to support automated and efficient work in the industrial sector.Keywords: Shrimp, Export, Microcontroller, Arduino Uno, MLX90614, Motor DC.

Abstract

Memelihara ikan hias di masyarakat sudah menjadi hobi sejak jaman dahulu hingga saat ini. Dalam kegiatan memelihara ikan hias ada beberapa hal yang penting dalam pemeliharaannya yaitu pemberian pakan ikan dan pengontrol terhadap kualitas air seperti kejernihan air karena unsur-unsur tersebut penting bagi pertumbuhan dan kehidupan ikan. Namun masalah muncul saat penghobi tidak berada dirumah dan tidak bisa merawat ikan peliharaan secara langsung terutama memberi makan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut alat pemberian pakan ikan dan pemantauan kondisi air otomatis sangat diperlukan. Pada rangkaian alat pemberi pakan ikan dan pemantauan kondisi air otomatis menggunakan motor servo yang akan menjadi pembuka dan penutup katup pakan ikan, dan Modul GSM yang akan menjadi jembatan ke Arduino sebagai penerima dan pengirim sms, kemudian LCD yang akan menampilkan hasil data kekeruhan air. Program dirancang agar bisa memberi pakan ikan banyak, memberi pakan ikan sedikit, dan khusus mengetahui kondisi air melalui SMS. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan sistem pemberi pakan ikan dan pemantauan kondisi air otomatis via SMS gateway menggunakan Arduino Uno dapat bekerja dengan baik dimana pakan ikan akan akan keluar secara otomatis apabila pengguna mengirimkan pesan via SMS sesuai dengan nomor SIM card yang ada di sistem (Modul GSM).

Abstract

Handsanitizer is one of the antiseptic ingredients in the form of a gel that is often used by the public as a practical handwashing medium. The use of hand sanitizer is more effective and efficient when compared to using soap and water, so many people are interested in using it. On the basis of these problems, an automatic hand sanitizer device was designed using an ultrasonic sensor. The design system of this tool utilizes Arduino as a control system in the entire circuit, ultrasonic sensor as an input signal of an object, servo motor as a receiver for input of an object from the sensor which will then move to remove the hand sanitizer liquid, loadcell as a measure of the weight of the liquid contained in the hand sanitizer container, LCD as an output to display the results of the weight measurement contained in the hand sanitizer container. This tool works when the sensor detects an object 9cm, then the servo will pull the rope and release the hand sanitizer liquid.Keywords: Handsanitizer, Arduino, Ultrasonic Sensor, Loadcell.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah pasien covid-19 di dunia, khususnya di Indonesia, menyebabkan perubahan kebijakan di Indonsia. Pandemi covid-19 juga menyebabkan sistem belajar mengajar di Indonesia berubah dari luring menjadi daring. Di perguruan tinggi, perubahan ini menimbulkan beberapa kendala dalam melakukan adaptasi baik dari dosen maupun perserta didik yakni mahasiswa. Untuk itu perlu ada pelatihan dan pembelajaran serta diskusi mengenai problematika ini. Sehingga tercapai tujuan belajar mengajar yang semestinya. Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum UINSU mengundang tim pengabdian masyarakat dari Prodi Teknik Informatika UNHAR sebagai narasumber serta memberi solusi dalam kegiatan belajar dimasa pandemi. Kami dari tim pengabdian masyarakat menyajikan solusi diantaranya tentang komunikasi yang baik melalui media ajar, meninjau keaktifan mahasiswa serta memberi pemahaman dalam penggunaan aplikasi yang disediakan oleh Google seperti Classroom, email, youtube, Drive, Meet daln lain sebagainya susai perkembangan dalam diskusi
