Abstract

Covid-19 entered Indonesia on Monday, March 2, 2020, to be precise in the city of Depok, West Java. The worsening of the Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia has made the government give an appeal to the public to implement 3M as a prevention of Covid-19 in Indonesia. Distance or physical distancing is an advice from the government. In its application, one must wear a mask, wash hands and maintain a distance of at least 1 meter. The impact of the Covid-19 outbreak, activities in Indonesia have become completely paralyzed starting from March 2020. One of them is in education. During the pandemic, the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Education and Culture made a policy for schools and universities to carry out teaching activities boldly, because many parents/guardians felt these activities were very irrelevant. The closure of schools and universities has a clear negative impact on health, education and development. To overcome this, a warning tool is needed to implement physical distancing in face-to-face learning with a smart jacket using an Arduino Uno microcontroller, ultrasonic sensor, PIR sensor, buzzer and LCD i2c. The results of the test and implementation of this system are when an object approaches less than 100 cm. it will activate the buzzer as a warning to users and objects to apply physical distancing and the i2c LCD as distance information and warnings in the form of objects. From the results of testing this tool works well and is able to overcome the problems experienced by the community

Abstract

The bell is a device that can make a sound and has a function as a code, a reminder and a communication tool.In general, in most schools, the operation of the school bell is done manually, i.e. there is a picket teacher orschool officer who must always be ready to ring the school bell according to predetermined hours and inteaching and learning activities at school the school guard / picket teacher is busy with the activity of ringing thebell at school during school hours, changing lessons, taking breaks and going home from school which may bemore than five times a day. But officers often forget to ring the school bell at the right time. This negligencecauses the time taken for lessons which causes the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities to be reduced.So it is still less effective in ringing the school bell according to the hours that have been determined manually.This research builds an automatic bell device that can solve these problems which was built using Arduino Nanoand several other devices with the aim of producing an automatic bell device with bluetooth facilities connectedto a smartphone and applying a bluetooth module to the school bell in managing subject schedules, hours, dates,brightness on the P10 running text module, and turn on the speaker automatically

Abstract

Broiler chicken is one type of poultry that is a contributor to animal protein for the community. One of the keyfactors in the health of broiler chickens is cage sterilization, where sterilization is needed to kill germs that oftennest in chicken coops. However, the manual method used by workers takes a lot of time and effort, making it lessefficient. In this study, a prototype sterilization and insulation device was designed in the chicken coop to make iteasier for workers to carry out sterilization. In the design of this prototype, Arduino acts as the center forcontrolling the tool with the RTC that is connected directly as a time marker. Stepper motor as a driving tool toshift the bulkhead. There are 4 limit switches that are useful for controlling movement. The HC-05 Bluetoothmodule is used for communication between smartphones and Arduino Uno. As well as the Solenoid Valve to closeand open the flow of water to the sprayer. The tool will work after the smartphone via Bluetooth is connected tothe device, then the sterilization process will be carried out. The tracking can be done through the applicationfound on the smartphone.

Abstract

In today's modern era, two-wheeled vehicles have become a basic necessity. Almost all people use two-wheeledvehicles for their daily needs. It is easy to use and relatively inexpensive to maintain, which is why many peopleuse it. Along with the increase in the number of two-wheeled vehicles, the crime of theft of two-wheeled vehiclesis also increasing. Therefore we need additional security that is better and more sophisticated on the two-wheeledvehicle itself. One of the technological developments for securing two-wheeled vehicles can now be doneautomatically using Wemos D1 and can be accessed using an Android device, namely telegram. Internet of Things(IoT) is one of the technologies that can be applied to help fulfill the security system. IoT is needed to designsecurity devices on two-wheeled vehicles, by using the telegram application to turn on two-wheeled vehiclesaccording to orders from the owner. LM2596 stepdown is required to lower the motor battery (battery) voltage tosystem voltage. Two-wheeled vehicles that have been installed with this tool can later be turned on or off via thetelegram application and can only be operated by the owner.

Abstract

The sense of sight is a vital source of information that is very important for humans, but not a few people experience problems with their vision. Blindness is a general term used to describe the condition of a person who experiences obstacles or impairments in their visual abilities. Because the function of the sense of vision decreases, blind people maximize the function of other senses such as the sense of touch, smell, hearing, and others. However, there are also blind people who suffer from abnormalities such as the loss of the sense of hearing (deafblind) which is usually called double disability (deafblind). It can be understood that if a person has impaired vision and hearing (deafblind), then their activities are very limited, because the information obtained will be reduced compared to someone with normal vision and hearing. In general, blind people use a cane as a walker to assist movement when walking, therefore, a walker is made that can detect objects or obstacles in front using an ultrasonic sensor based on an arduino nano microcontroller, with vibration output as a warning to people with disabilities. The purpose of this tool is to make it easier for people with multiple disabilities (deafblind) to detect obstacles in front when walking. The results obtained from this tool work accordingly and stably as expected, as evidenced by the detection success rate of 99.26% and a very minimal error rate of 0.74%, and the results of the comfort of using a cane carried out by users (deafblind) reached 70,83% with comfortable criteria.
