Abstract

The tittle of this research is Front Office Operational Implementation at PT. Mudaris Mandiri Wisata. This Research aims to : (1) to know How the Front Office Operational Implementation at PT. Mudaris Mandiri Wisata, (2) to explain the assessment system about front office operational implementation, (3) to know the threat that happened to Front Office operational Implementation at PT. Mudaris Mandiri Wisata. This Research was used qualitative method with descriptive approach to describe and explain the condition that happened by collecting the data and information on the field. The Informant key on this research was 1 Front Office staff of PT.Mudaris Mandiri Wisata. This research was hold at PT. Mudaris Mandiri Wisata, Rambutan St, No.19 B, East Sidomulyo, Marpoyan Damai Subdistrict, Pekanbaru, Riau. This Research was hold about 4 months, start from February-May 2021. In this Research, the Collecting data technique was Observation, Intervie and Documentation. Based on the result, we can conclude that the Front Office Staff at PT.Mudaris Mandiri Wisata have done all the thing that reverse to the theory. Beside, for assessment system of Front office Operational that implemented by the Management based on 2 assessment side, that is the assessment from customers and the assessment from Company Manager, and it will be evaluated each month.Key word : Implementation, Front Office, Travel Agency

Abstract

In a study using this descriptive quantitative research method, there is a purpose to know the image of Chinatown Siak District tourist attraction. In addition, to find out the motivation of tourists visiting the tourist attraction Chinatown Siak District. And to know what are the constraints of tourists to visit Chinatown and how the Siak District Tourism Office will be done in the future. Based on the results of research that has been done Tourist attractions Chinatown is a tourist attraction that is basically a cultural attraction, because the area is interesting to be traced by tourists because it is still a strong culture of Chinese people in the region. According to the recapitulation of respondents' responses on the motivation of tourists to Chinatown, showed the cultural motivation to get the highest score with a total score of 1198 and the lowest score is social motivation with a score of 983. Physical motivation with a total score of 1084 and fantasy motivation get a total score of 1060. In addition, tourists get to come to Chinatown is still encountered such as, obstacles renovation of attractions, parking and other facilities that have not been adequate, until the absence of public transportation can be used by tourists to come to Chinatown. And the future Tourism Office efforts are to develop Chinatown objects and facilities, create weekly attractions, to form POKDARWIS, to coach local guides.Keywords: Motivation, Chinatown, tourists

Abstract

In a study using this descriptive quantitative research method, there is a purpose to find out how the assessment of visitors at the attraction facility waterfall thunder gemurai in kuantan district singingi riau province. Besides this research also try to know the expectation of visitor at facility of wisata wisata waterfall thunder gemurai and what effort pengelolah (government) in overcoming problem existing in wisata waterfall thunder gemurai district kuantan singingi riau province.Based on the results of research that has been done there are results that show the assessment of visitors at the facility attractions waterfall thunder gemurai in kuantan regency singingi province riau quite good overall. It is based on the measurement scale used. In addition, visitors have expectations of all the facilities, cleanliness of the locker room, repair and addition of changing rooms and toilets and repairing stairs. And the efforts of the parties to overcome the existing problem is to perform maintenance, repair and management at the object of waterfall thunder gemurai quake district singingi riau province. Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana prosedur pengawasan keimigrasian bagimorang asing yang diberikan fasilitas bebas visa kunjungan dalam rangka berwisata oleh kantor Imigrasi Kelas I Padang. Dengan berdasarkan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif maka, dapat disimpulkan: pengawasan keimigrasian yang dilakukan oleh kantor imigrasi kelas I Padang sudah berjalan sesuai dengan atran yang ditetapka oleh Pemerintah. Meskipun pengawasan yang dilakukan belum berjalan dengan baik. Sehingga hasil yang didapat pun belum maksimal. Dalam prosedur pengawasan keimigrasian yang dilakukan terdapat lima cara, yaitu: pengolahan data, pendaftaran orang asing, memantau keberadaan dan kegiatan orang asing, mengolah data mengenai keluarmasuknya serta kegiatan dan keberadaan orang asing dan beerkoordinasi dengan Instansi terkait yang melaksanakan pengawasan terhadap orang asing. Selain itu faktor penghambat kantor Imigrasi melakukan pengawasan antara lain faktor jangkauan wilayah kerja, yakni jarak tempuh antara kantor imigrasi dengan wilayah operasi yang jauh dan luas, kedua sikap masyarakat dan perusahaan yang mempekerjakan TKA yang kurang kooperatif terhadap tugas dan fungsi imigrasi, ketiga faktor internal dari sistem informasi manajemen keimigrasian yang membuat pengawasan melalui data orang asing kurang berjalan.Key Words : pengawasan keimigrasian, orang asing dan bebas visa kunjungan wisata

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Preservation of Cultural Heritage Objects Museum Sang Nila Utama Riau Province. By using the theory of culture and tourism minister rules of preservation of cultural heritage objects and sites, using two-way preservation, namely the protection and maintenance.This research’s uses descriptive qualitative methods to analyses the problems that were raised. The sample this research were department heads and staff of the field of conservation and preparation as well as the staff of the head of a collection by using purposive sampling. Data gathering tools used were observation and interviews.Based on the results of research in the Preservation of Cultural Heritage Objects Museum Sang Nila Utama Riau Province. Abstract

Mayang Sari Beach Resort is located on Bintan Islan Kepulauan Riau that is the property of nirwana gardens resort. Mayang Sari Beach Resort received various types of tourists who come, especially for vacationand recreation. There is the kind of tourists who come to mayang sari beach resort who called with Daytripper (Traveler,Excurtionist), Guest Service Agent has a important role in daytripper reception.This study aims to determine to know the role of Guest Service Agent in the handling of daytripper at Mayang Sari Beach Resort Bintan Islan Kepulauan Riau. This study using the descriptive qualitative to examine problems that was appointed. The research subjects in this study amounted to 5 people, data collection techniques in this research using observation, the interview and the documentation.The result of this research shows that the role of Guest Service Agent in the handling of Daytripper at Mayang Sari Beach Resort Bintan Islan Kepulauan Riau there are Guest Service Agent who did the role of her based on the Standart Operations Procedure.Keywords : Daytripper,Guest Service Agent,Standart Operations Procedure

Abstract

In accordance with the design, namely Riau Privincial government in 2020 which makes Riau as malay cultural centers, hotels in Riau Province has begun implementing a nuanced hotel malaycultural.This study used a descriptivemethod is by using the 9 key informan. With techniques to collect date through interviews to key informan are selected according to the research that is done by snawball sampling where the authors interviewed key informan to obtain the desired information.From the results of research conducted in the field with the study of malay cultural nuances in the department of food and beverage service ibis pekanbaru using the application of the theory of cultural, namely : as a giver of beauty and pleasure, as an entertainment provider, as a symbolic sacrifice, as a communication tool. Abstract

Response is perception picture who live in our awareness after make apperception to things or object. Response can be permission, expostulation, question and opinion. Response divided to become 3 faction, that is pursuant or according to sense observed, includes response auditory, visual, taste fan etc. according to occurrence ncludes memory fantasy and mind. While according environmental there is object and words etc. This research uses descriptive quantitative method to know tourist response . The sample in this study were 135 respondents, taken using accidental sampling. While data collection techniques in this study using observation, questioner, and interviews. By using a Likert scale as a measure to determine the length of the short interval. With indicator on visual, memory, fantasy,mind and words. (agus sujanto 2009). From the results of research conducted in the field of research on the tourist response about elephant attraction in PLG Minas District Siak , with the theory of tourist response is divided into three indicator: visual, memory, fantasy, mind and words, the results field in the can that is on the tourist respon of elephant attraction in PLG Minas District Siak and the result of reseach included in the agree category.Keywords : response, attraction,visual, memory, fantasy, mind and words.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the cultural attractions in the tourist village of leatherback island Kuok District of Kampar regency of Riau province and identifies cultural tourist attraction in the tourist village of leatherback island Kuok District of Kampar regency in Riau province.This study used descriptive qualitative method to analyze the problem. The sampling technique used was purposive sample. While data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation and data analysis techniques using data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing.The results of this study is there are 2 sub variables into a cultural tourist attraction in the tourist village of the island leatherback District of Kuok Kampar regency Riau province that cultural relics have an indicator objects, heritage buildings, museums and the living culture who have an indicator ceremony / ritual, customs, art shows and events.

Abstract

Riau Islands Province is the second gateway for foreign tourists after Bali. Batam City which supports Indonesia from various sectors such as the hotel sector. By providing accommodation, tourists can enjoy a very comfortable vacation. In a hotel, the department that plays a role in providing hotel guests, especially regarding service comfort, cleanliness of the entire hotel area is housekeeping. In this case, HARRIS Resort Waterfront Batam, Riau Islands, develops the comfort that guests get by conducting a survey on service quality. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of Room Attendant services in improving the services that will be provided to guests. The method used in this study is a quantitative method to find out the results of the survey through observation, distributing questionnaires to respondents/guests who have stayed at the hotel, and based on the documentation of several guests who have provided answers through the questionnaire. Based on the survey and the results of data processing that has been carried out, the authors get the data from the recapitulation results, it can be seen that the total score of Room Attendant Service Quality at HARRIS Resort Waterfront Batam, Riau Islands is 7177 where the results range from a total score of 7140-8500 into the "Very Satisfied" category.  Key Word: Service Quality, Satisfaction, Room Attendant, Hotel
