Abstract

MSMEs play an important role in driving local economic growth, but many business actors still face various obstacles in managing and developing their businesses. This community service activity aims to improve the competitiveness of Anggun Fashion Store, one of the MSMEs in Punjulharjo Village that is engaged in clothing sales and has been operating since 2017. The methods used include interviews, field observations, and intensive mentoring from May 10 to June 10, 2025. Based on the identification results, the main problems faced are the unattractive appearance of the store, incomplete financial bookkeeping, and minimal product promotion. The solutions implemented include adding visual elements, such as wall stickers and promotional banners, compiling a more systematic profit and loss and balance sheet book, and providing price labels on superior products. The results of the activity show an increase in the visual appeal of the store and neatness in financial records that make it easier for owners to monitor monthly income. In general, this activity has a positive impact on business development with an increase in daily visits, as well as awareness of business actors regarding the importance of better business management.

Abstract

MSMEs play a crucial role in driving local and national economic growth. However, the majority of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in rural areas still face various challenges in developing a clear business identity and establishing an effective and competitive digital presence. This community service activity aims to improve the competitiveness of the Warung Barokah Mbak Ika MSME through digitalization and strengthening its branding. The method used was a collaborative and participatory approach between students and MSME partners. The activity stages included initial observation, needs identification, design and creation of branding media, outreach, and evaluation of results. The resulting media included a business logo, printed and digital menus, transaction receipts, table numbers, and location registration on Google Maps. The results of the activity showed an improvement in the business's professional image, ease of customer access to the business location, and positive responses from partners to the provided media. This activity demonstrates that simple branding interventions combined with digitalization strategies can have a significant impact on the development and competitiveness of MSMEs in rural areas. These findings can also be replicated in the context of similar MSMEs in other regions with a tailored approach.

Abstract

The Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector is critical pillars of the Indonesian economy. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on MSMEs. The existence of activity violation policies, namely lockdown and social distancing, needs to be anticipated by MSME actors because it has changed consumer behavior and business competition. Digital transformation is a solution for MSMEs to survive the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of access to finance on MSME performance moderated by digitalization. This study utilized 83 MSMEs as a sample. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to MSME owners who were selected as research samples. Data analysis was performed using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) method. The results of the study indicated that digitization significantly strengthens the relationship between financial access and MSME performance. For MSME actors, digitization will also make it simpler to introduce products, boost turnover, and assist with recording and producing financial reports.

Abstract

Profitability is a description of a company's ability to make a profit. The urgency of researching corporate profitability lies in its critical role as a primary indicator of a company’s financial health, sustainability, and competitive advantage. The study used the dependent variable Profitability, while the independent variables were capital structure, leverage, and company size. The population used was all food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2022 period. The data collection technique employed in the study was a combination of the documentation method and purposive sampling, which produced samples that met the research criteria. The research sample consisted of 18 companies with 54 observations. The data analysis technique in this study employed multiple linear regression analysis, previously tested against classical assumptions to obtain the Best Linear Unbiased Estimate (BLUE). The results of this study indicate that capital structure and leverage have a negative but statistically insignificant effect on profitability. In contrast, company size has a positive but statistically insignificant effect on profitability.

Abstract

The golf industry, steeped in tradition and characterized by its unique culture, is currently at a crossroads, facing both unprecedented opportunities and significant challenges as it navigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and personalized services. As technology advances, AI is becoming increasingly pivotal in transforming various aspects of golf, from enhancing equipment and training methodologies to optimizing golf course management through data-driven insights and automation. This integration not only improves operational efficiency but also enriches the overall golfing experience for players by tailoring services to meet their individual needs. Meanwhile, personalized services, which range from customized coaching programs to bespoke membership experiences, are gaining traction as a means to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty within the industry. However, the potential of these innovations is tempered by various barriers, including resistance to technological change, privacy concerns, and the need for significant investment in infrastructure. This paper aims to explore the multifaceted role of AI and personalized services in the golf industry, highlighting the opportunities they present for revenue generation and market expansion, while also addressing the challenges that must be overcome to fully realize their benefits. By examining the current landscape, this research provides insights into how the golf industry can adapt and thrive in a rapidly evolving technological environment, ensuring its relevance and sustainability amid changing consumer expectations and competitive pressures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity risk and firm size on profitability in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2016-2018. Liquidity risk in this study is proxied by using factors that can be managed by the bank to avoid the threat of liquidity risk.Liquidity risk in this study is proxied by loan debt ratio, while firm size uses a natural logarithm from total assets. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method that is by using certain criteria. The population in this study was all banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this study are 30 banks.The analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that loan debt ratio has aninsignificant effect on bank profitability. Abstract

The Community Partnership Empowerment Program was implemented to enhance production capacity, management efficiency, and marketing competitiveness of the traditional food home industry (IRT) producing dumbeg in Pohlandak Village, Pancur District, Rembang Regency. Dumbeg is a traditional local culinary product with high economic potential; however, the partner group still faces several challenges. The main problems include manual production processes that reduce efficiency, poorly organized business management, and conventional marketing systems that have not yet adopted digital technology. To address these challenges, the program applied a digital transformation approach through several implementation methods, including the development of appropriate technology in the form of a stainless-steel mixing machine to improve productivity and hygiene, entrepreneurship training based on creativepreneurship to strengthen business management capacity, and digital marketing through social media and e-commerce platforms. The program also produced innovations such as a web-based Sales Information System (SIP) and an e-commerce platform called “Omah Dumbeg” as tools for online promotion and transactions. The results showed an increase in production capacity from 200 to 300 units per day, a rise in turnover by approximately 10%, and an improvement in digital literacy among group members by 80%. This program has proven effective in enhancing efficiency, self-reliance, and business sustainability based on local potential in Rembang Regency through the implementation of digital transformation.

Abstract

This research attempts to prove the influence of company size, capital structure and investment decisions on company value in food and beverage entities on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2019-2021. This research uses the dependent variable of company value, while the independent variables are company size, capital structure and investment decisions. The population is 33 food and beverage entity on the 2019-2021 BEI. The documentation approach is employed by the data collecting methodology. Purposive sampling was used to select the sample. There were 16 entities in the research sample, totaling 48 observations. Multiple linear analysis approaches were employed as the data analysis method. To determine the Best Linear Unbias Estimate (BLUE) data, the data was evaluated using the traditional assumption test prior to the regression. Considering the outcomes of the hypothesis test, it shows that company size and capital structure have an insignificant negative effect on company value, while investment decisions have an insignificant positive effect on company value.

Abstract

Mami Bakery adalah salah satu usaha pembuatan roti/ bolu yang terletak di Desa Pulo Kecamatan Rembang Kabupaten Rembang dengan memproduksi berbagai macam olahan kue, roti dan bolu. Usaha ini didirikan oleh Ibu Chulfiyah dan sudah beroperasi sejak tahun 2016. Usaha pembuatan roti/ bolu dalam perjalanannya pasti banyak kendala yang dihadapi. Adapun beberapa kendala yang ditemukan selama observasi antara lain, (1) masih minimnya sarana promosi yang digunakan yang mengakibatkan penjualan kurang maksimal (2) belum memiliki izin usaha (3) belum adanya buku menu, (4) belum memiliki legalitas usaha yang jelas. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penyusun membuat beberapa program sebagai solusi kepada Mami Bakery, antara lain (1) pembuatan akun Facebook sebagai sarana media promosi (2) menambahkan lokasi usaha di aplikasi Google Maps sehingga mudah dijangkau oleh pelanggan (3) pengajuan izin usaha meliputi NIB (Nomor Induk Berusaha) dan P-IRT. Berbagai program kegiatan yang telah terlaksana ini berhasil meningkatkan daya saing UMKM Mami Bakery yang dibuktikan dengan semakin meningkatnya pangsa pasar yang berdampak pada omset yang dihasilkan. Rangkaian kegiatan yang telah terlaksana ini sangat mendukung UMKM Mami Bakery di tengah persaingan usaha yang semakin ketat saat ini.
