Abstract

AbstrakTelah berhasil dilakukan sterilisasi jamur tiram menggunakan kompor sederhana berbahan bakar sekam dan limbah baglog dengan diberi selongsong (pipa konveksi) di dalam alat sterilisasinya. Sterilisasi bertujuan membunuh bakteri dan jamur lain yang tidak diinginkan pada baglog. Hasil sterilisasi menunjukan bahwa kompor berbahan bakar sekam memiliki nilai efisiensi energi termal yang tinggi.  Efisiensi bahan bakar sekam sebesar 11.87% dan efisiensi bahan bakar limbah baglog sebesar  4.31 %, dengan waktu pengukusan selama 6 jam.Kata kunci : baglog,  efisiensi energi, sekam padi, selongsong.   AbstractSterilization of oyster mushroom with convection pipe has been successfully done. Rice huck and waste baglog are fuel of stove as sterilization. The purpose of sterilization is to kill bacteria and other fungi which are undesirable in baglog. Sterilization result showed that stove with rice huck had high thermal efficiency. The highest thermal efficiency is 11.87% for sterilization by using rice husk and efficiency of baglog waste fuel is 4.31 % with 6 hour of steam.Keywords: baglog waste, convection pipe, efficiency, rice husk.

Abstract

The interaction model dynamics between tumor and viruses based on the interaction phenomenon between the three populations, namely: population of uninfected tumor cells, tumor cell population infected with the virus and the virus population. This study aimed to see the interaction between non-infected tumor cells, tumor cells infected with viruses and viruses, so it can be modeled using virotherapy treatment of measles virus in mouse lung tumors. Model parameters obtained from experimental data. Numerical Solution of the models suggest that the dose of the virus play an important role in determining the outcome of tumor therapy. Tumor growth can be slowed by using this virotherapy, but the tumor can not be killed as a whole. Abstract

There are several types of treatment options that can slow the progression of HIV that can be offered if the number of CD4 + cells has been known for certain, one treatment is by immunotherapy with interleukin-2 (IL-2). This type of treatment is to increase the immune system that can help the body fight against the infection itself. Efforts to raise an immune response would be appropriate to reduce the amount of virus. This brings new hope for treatment of HIV infection and the type of treatment is being researched. Interleukin-2 (IL-2) is most of the cytokines which are proteins made by the body. T-helper cells, a type of white blood cells, produce IL-2 when they were stimulated by infection. In this study, a model of HIV disease progression than individuals not treated can be expressed in a mathematical model, and also expressed immunotherapy model to see the dynamics of viral populations and the population of CD4 + T cells from HIV disease based on ordinary differential equation (ODE). This study aims to calculate the numerical solution immunotherapy mathematical model in HIV infection and a mathematical model to predict the outcome of immunotherapy treatment strategies in HIV infection. Abstract

We has been successfuly to create a model fire detection based arduino uno with the output SMS Gateway. This tool assisted using two sensors are MQ-2 sensor and Fire sensors infrared. In this experiment conducted research on flame sensor infrared sensitivity by using tool such as Lux Meter to measure light intensity at the source of the fire. This research using distance to determine the sensitivity Lux Meter and the fire sensor. This distance used starting from 10 cm up to 110 cm with a 10 cm difference and the fire source used is 2 pieces of wax. In the first experiment using Lux Meter, the result obtained are at a distance of 10 cm the amount of light intensity of 132 lux but if the distance is farther the magnitude of the intensity of light getting down, llike a distance of 100 cm and 110 cm then the magnitude just 0 lux. In the second experiment using Flame sensor, the result obtained are at an angle of 00 with a distance 10 cm up to 90 cm this sensor can detect the fire, but at a distance 100 cm and 110 cm the sensor can’t detect the the fire. While at an angle of 300 to 600 sensors can only detect at a distance 10 cm. Keywords: arduino uno, flame sensor, lux meter, sensor mq-2, sms gateway.

Abstract

We have managed to create a high corner velocity spin coater based Arduino Uno. This device assisted with brushless motor and infrared sensor as detection of brushless motor rotation. In experiment conducted research corner velocity of brushless motor on input value 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm, 3000 rpm, 4000 rpm, 5000 rpm, 6000 rpm, 7000 rpm, 8000 rpm, 9000 rpm, 10000 rpm, 11000 rpm, 12000 rpm, 13000 rpm, 14000 rpm, 15000 rpm,16000 rpm, 17000 rpm, 18000 rpm, 19000 rpm, and 20000 rpm on spin coater. In this research data showed that the corner velocity that measured by spin coater has difference average is 82.67 rpm with tachometer. Abstract

Telah  berhasil  dilakukan  uji  kinerja  empat  jenis  sensor  suhu  dan  kelembaban  yang  tersedia  di pasaran,  yaitu  DHT22,  BME280,  SHT31  dan  DS18B20.    Sensor  tersebut  dihubungkan  dengan WeMos  D1  R1  ESP8266  yang  bertugas  untuk  mengelola  dan  mengirimkan  data  ke  platform internet  of  things  (IoT)  ThingSpeak.  Pengiriman  data  menggunakan  protokol  message  queue telemetry transport (MQTT) yang berdaya rendah (low-power) dan dapat diandalkan (reliable). Laman web ThingSpeak menampilkan grafik suhu dan kelembaban masing-masing sensor. Data suhu dan kelembaban tersebut dibandingkan dengan thermohygrometer sebagai referensi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor mampu mendeteksi perubahan suhu ruangan dengan nilai pembacaan  yang  tidak  berbeda  jauh  dengan  referensi.  Secara  umum,  semua  sensor  bekerja dengan  cukup  baik  yang  ditandai  dengan  koefisien  determinasi  yang  cukup  tinggi  pada  kurva kalibrasi yaitu lebih dari 0,94 untuk suhu dan 0,96 untuk kelembaban.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the sound produced by kalimba plates using the Fourier transformation. This research went through two stages, namely the analysis stage and the synthesis stage. The kalimba plate is plucked with variations in the applied force of 2 N to 5.5 N. The sound of the kalimba pluck is recorded using a sound sensor connected to PASCO Capstone software so that a deviation graph is produced as a function of time. The data obtained was then analyzed using Octave software. The research results show that the frequency is directly proportional to the damping coefficient value. The higher the frequency, the higher the frequency spectrum will be widened. The resulting Fourier coefficients only capture the values of the fundamental harmonic frequencies. This is because the kalimba plate has high rigidity.

Abstract

Analysis of SrTiO3 ceramics with the doping Cuprum(II) acetate (Cu(CH3COO)2), the variation in the concentration of doping used 0%; 0,5%; and 1% using the solid state reaction method was successful. The annealing process is carried out starting from room temperature then raised to an annealing temperature of 850 oC with a temperature increase of 1,67 oC / minute and held constant for 8 hours. Next proceed with the cooling process until it returns to room temperature for 13 hours. Analysis of XRD data using the Cramer-Cohen method yielded a lattice parameter of 3,909 Å; 3,906 Å; and 3,905 Å, a cubic crystal structure.

Abstract

The increasing use of fossil-based fuels causes an imbalance between energy demand and the availability of that energy. Therefore, the use of rice husk biomass as alternative energy was implemented through the use of rice husk furnaces. This research aims to optimize the efficiency of a small industrial-scale husk furnace by varying the oxygen flow valve holes and the mass of the heated water. The test on the husk furnace was carried out using the Water Boiling Test (WBT) method with the following test parameters: combustion time, FCR, input power, output power, power loss, radiant energy, and thermal conductivity of the pan and chimney of the husk furnace. Tests were carried out on four variations of the oxygen flow valve holes (horizontal: 18 x 36 cm2 and 27 x 36 cm2, vertical: 27 x 24 cm2 and 27 x 12 cm2) and three variations in the mass of heated water (6 kg, 12 kg, and 18 kg). The highest efficiency of the husk furnace was obtained at 18 kg of water, and based on each test parameter, the performance of the husk furnace was most optimal at the horizontal valve hole measuring 27 x 36 cm2 with an average efficiency of 17.32%.
