Abstract

The primary air tube in the boiler is an important component because it has the function of supplying air that will be used in the combustion process. The reliability of the function of the primary air tube contributes to the quality of the combustion results in the boiler. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the causes of cracks that occur in the primary air tube boiler. The method used in conducting the analysis is using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) and microstructure. SEM testing will be used to study the morphology of the crack surface in detail, identify the crack propagation mechanism, and see any indications of corrosion or other elements that may be the cause of damage. Meanwhile, microstructure analysis aims to observe the internal composition of the material to ensure whether there is a structural mismatch that affects the strength and resistance of the material to operational conditions. Based on the test results obtained, there are indications of cracks due to square groove welding found in observations with 100x and 400x magnification only on samples 125 and 126. In the microstructure test with the same sample, indications of cracks were also found that occurred from the outside of the stainless compound due to residual stress and changes in atomic structure at the time of its formation and coupled with the corrosive fuel used, but have not spread to the inner carbon steel material.

Abstract

Teknologi 3D Printer DLP (Digital Light Process) adalah mesin pencetak 3 dimensi yang berbahan resin dengan system penyinaran menggunakan proyektor cahaya dengan proses pencetakan lapis demi lapis. Pada penelitian ini penulis akan membuat objek yaitu salah satu komponen permesinan yaitu casing gearbox. Dalam penelitian ini penulis akan menganalisa pengaruh parameter proses (exposre time, off time, dan interkasi keduanya) terhadap dimensi hasil cetak dan mendapatkan parameter paling optimal guna diaplikasikan ke komponen atau objek pencetakan. Dalam melakukan pengujian pengukuran dimensi penguji menggunakan alat ukur jangka sorong Krisbow KW06-422. Kemudian data hasil pengukuran diolah dengan metode Anova.

Abstract

In the industrial world, leaf springs are an important component of vehicles. Therefore, material selection is very influential in producing good mechanical properties that can affect leaf spring performance. In this review article, the author aims to review and compile articles on relevant previous studies to compare the best alternative materials other than steel that meet the criteria for the application of leaf springs. The review method used in this article is to search for articles that are relevant to the keyword material, leaf springs, and mechanical properties. After that, the author will collect articles and choose articles that have the criteria to be reviewed. Then the articles that meet the criteria will be reviewed by extracting the data to the review table. As a result, 24 articles will be reviewed. Then the author will extract data on each article, namely material, tensile strength, and flexure. Flexural and tensile strength are used as quality criteria for each material. The conclusion of the review article obtained is that carbon/epoxy has the potential as an alternative steel material because carbon/epoxy has the highest tensile strength with a value of 1841MPa, and flexural strength with a value of 1646.7MPa is close to steel as shown in the review table. However, further research is needed, such as proper design and more efficient manufacturing methods to produce innovative leaf spring components with high quality and acceptable quality in the industry.

Abstract

Background: Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan bersama Kelompok Tani Kalidoni Palembang yang berfokus pada peningkatan kapasitas teknis, manajerial, dan adaptasi iklim petani padi di lahan pasang surut. Permasalahan utama mitra meliputi rendahnya pengetahuan budidaya padi modern, lemahnya manajemen usaha tani, serta keterbatasan penerapan teknologi pascapanen dan pemasaran digital. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan petani dalam mengelola usaha tani secara produktif dan berkelanjutan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan terarah. Metode: Kegiatan dilakukan melalui pelatihan, pendampingan teknis, pengenalan teknologi tepat guna, serta penguatan kelembagaan kelompok tani.  Evaluasi hasil kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan metode pre-test dan post-test yang dianalisis dengan aplikasi SPSS untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani setelah mengikuti rangkaian pelatihan. Hasil: Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata pre-test ke post-test pada seluruh aspek pelatihan, yaitu pencatatan keuangan, teknik pengemasan, dan pemasaran; penggunaan dan perawatan mesin giling padi; pemilihan benih varietas unggul dan penyiapan lahan; budidaya padi unggul; serta adaptasi pertanian terhadap perubahan iklim. Walaupun sebagian hasil uji menunjukkan nilai p-value > 0,05, peningkatan skor menunjukkan adanya dampak praktis yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan teknis dan manajerial petani. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan PKM ini terbukti berhasil memperkuat kapasitas teknis, manajerial, dan adaptasi iklim petani, serta mendukung peningkatan produktivitas, kualitas hasil, dan keberlanjutan usaha tani padi di lahan pasang surut.
