Abstract

Facing increasingly fierce competition, encouraging companies to implement various short-term and long-term business strategies. One way to do this is merger and acquisition. The merger is expected to increase market share, business diversification, or improve vertical integration of existing operational activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the financial performance of companies that are mergers and acquisitions. Comparative descriptive research with techniques for collecting data through documentation. The total population of merger and acquisition companies in 2014-2016 was 22, taken as a sample of 8 companies. Sampling techniques Non probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. Analysis techniques through the financial ratio (NPM), (TATO), and (ROA) approach. The results of the study show that companies that have mergers and acquisitions have good performance and some that perform poorly.

Abstract

Abstract: The training activities are based on the collaboration between the dedication team and Mandiri Bank. All activities are sponsored by Mandiri Bank. The purpose of this activity through Mandiri Bank is to foster civil servants who are about to or nearing retirement to take part in hydroponic cultivation training. In this case, Mandiri Bank provides facilitation in terms of providing funding for those who want to develop a hydroponic plant cultivation business. The activity was carried out in the North Lombok Regency Regent's Office Hall. The method of implementing the activities carried out is in the form of training on hydroponic plants along with teaching aids to facilitate understanding of hydroponic plant cultivation. The activity was made as interesting as possible, considering that the activity was carried out during the day so that a quiz or some kind of game was held to encourage the participants. In addition, the contents of this hydroponic cultivation training provide a guide regarding opportunities for business development and/or being able to cultivate hydroponic plants in the yard of the house for daily consumption. The enthusiasm of the participants was very good, as seen by approximately 50% preferring hydroponic cultivation to train other than hydroponic cultivation such as catfish and moringa cultivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of service quality, work discipline, and office employee performance on community satisfaction. So this study consists of 4 (four) variables, independent namely service quality (X1), work discipline (X2), employee performance (X3), and the dependent variable is community satisfaction (Y). the population of this study is the eastern pohgading community totaling 6,997 people, the criteria in this study are 15 years and over. The technique used in sampling is probability sampling with the simple ramdom sampling method and the number of respondents is determined as many as 98 respondents. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 98 respondents of the East Pohgading community, East Lombok Regency. The results of this study indicate that the service quality variable has a significant effect on community satisfaction, the work discipline variable has no significant effect on community satisfaction, the employee performance variable has a significant effect on community satisfaction, and the simultaneous test results show that the independent variables (service quality, work discipline, and employee performance) have a significant effect on community satisfaction.

Abstract

Altman Z-score, Zmijewski, Springate and Grover are company bankruptcy prediction methods. This research aims to determine the comparative results and level of accuracy resulting from each bankcruptcy prediction method, namely the Altman Z-score, Zmijewski, Springate and Grover methods in banking companies State-Owned Enterprises listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2022 period. This research is a type of comparative research with a quantitative appproach. The analysis technique uses discriminantanalysis and a level of accuracy test is carried out. The population and sample in this research are 4 State-Owned Enterprise banking companies listed on the Stock Exchage Indoneian Effect. The research sample was determined using the Saturated Sampling method. The results of this study show that the Altman Z-score and Grover methods are the most accurate models with an accuracy rate of 100% and an error rate of 0%. The Zmijewski model foloows later with a low accuracy rate of 12.5% and an error rate of 87.5%. The lowest level of accuracy is owned by the Springate model, namely 0% and an error rate of 100%.

Abstract

Strengthening business management in the wheat cracker business group in South Kediri Village, West Lombok is an implementation of community service carried out by STIE AMM Mataram lecturers. Strengthening business management is in order to increase the group's understanding of the problems that arise in carrying out the wheat cracker business. The problems that arise during mentoring are that business development does not have a clear plan so that the goals and objectives of the wheat cracker business to be achieved are not clear, there is no effective marketing promotion and there is a lack of access to collaborate with other parties. The method of implementing this service uses discussion and assistance in making product labeling and making banners as well as introducing promotions through the South Kediri Village website. The results obtained from this service are that the group understands business management, the group understands marketing using labeling and digitalization promotion through the South Kediri Village website.

Abstract

There are many types of waste, including organic or household waste, plastic waste, and paper waste. Sometimes, even rarely among us, we can manage waste that has economic value. Analysis of the problem situation faced by Gelogor Village, namely that there is no orderly sorting of organic, paper, and plastic waste, they do not understand waste management procedures, the products made still need to have a brand, and difficulties in marketing the products. The aim of this service is to provide training related to waste management that can have economic value in Gelogor Village. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method was implemented and implemented in three stages: planning, implementation, assessment, and monitoring. The method used is to conduct a field survey first, followed by coordinating the implementation of the service, distributing invitations to the community, preparing a schedule of service activities, and the core activity, namely conducting training. The results of this service research are that Gelogor residents are very enthusiastic about waste management, this can be seen from the various questions asked by the Gelogor Village community. There is great hope for the role of village officials to provide support related to waste management, such as the trash basket in each local resident's house consisting of three trash cans.

Abstract

The study aims to reveal the influence of technology, innovation and collaboration on the sustainability of bamboo woven craft businesses in Singaraja, Bali Province. The research method is designed based on a verification approach to strategic management of MSMEs, namely the hypothesis that has been formulated will be verified based on subjective business conditions and business continuity. The variables in this study include: technology, innovation and collaboration in bamboo woven craft businesses as exogenous variables, and business continuity as an endogenous variable. The population of the study was all bamboo woven craft business actors in Sidetapa Village, Tigawarsa Village and Banyuseri Village in the Singaraja area, while the sample size was determined as many as 100 respondents. The research instrument used a structured questionnaire with a simple random sampling technique. The analysis method used to test the research hypothesis is Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The findings of the study stated that the technology and collaboration variables had a positive and significant effect on the business sustainability variable, but the innovation variable did not show a significant effect on the sustainability of bamboo woven craft businesses in Singaraja.
