Abstract

Decision Support System (SPK) is a system that can help the leader / owner in the decision making process by using a calculation method based on assessment criteria. DSS is not a decision making tool but only a comparison tool in decision making. The Best Faculty Decision at Lancang Kuning University is a process of evaluating faculties from several aspects of criteria that can help leaders / quality assurance bodies in assessments with the aim of creating competition among faculties of assessment. The research will be carried out using comparison of assessment results using Smart and Moora methods. The results of the decisions of each method will be seen effectiveness in the assessment process to become a decision. In each method using the same or different criteria, it depends on the weight value of each criterion that is assessed. This result can be a reference for Lancang Kuning University in evaluating the assessment of the Best Faculty based on aspects of assessment.

Abstract

The Pekanbaru City North Cross Road is a national road connects the city of Pekanbaru with the northern border of Pekanbaru which is a causeway often damaged. So we need a system to predict the damage that occurs. This research method consists of data collection, data selection, the process using the backpropagation method, analysis, and evaluation. Based on the data obtained the most damage that occurs on this road segment is 60% cracking, 30% rutting damage, and 10% for potholes. Backpropagation are weight initiation, activation, calculating input weights, output bias, and changes in weight. In these stages, the output to be achieved is obtained with the smallest error approach.. The result is that the prediction of damage made there is an increase in the number of crack damage by about 3% with an MSE error value of 0.18535 with Matlab software

Abstract

The application of IoT in remote control systems to home security is becoming a necessity. This research designed 2 parts of the application of IoT, namely the automatic locking control system and motion sensor detection. With IoT, it can help reduce the risk of laziness in households. The equipment used in the IoT circuit is the nodemcu esp8266 internet module, 5vdc relay module, electrical sockets and pitting and cellphone chargers. The way this electrical IoT works is by controlling it from a smartphone that is connected to a device using applications and the internet. With a note on the IoT tool at home, there is already a living internet network. If the internet network has a problem, the tool will not work properly. The output of this research is a Control System IoT product in the form of a prototype that can be used for the motion detection process and an IOT-based door locking system that can be controlled from a smartphone

Abstract

The rapid development of AI can help users in completing their tasks. As a teacher, administrative tasks are one of the burdens that must be completed to support the learning process. By using AI, this task can be completed more quickly. This is supported by the existence of a platform that helps in doing tasks that are usually done independently. SMKN 1 Pangkalan Kuras currently lacks educators and education personnel who are qualified in the field of information technology, this will certainly cause SMK graduates who can work to become the demands of the world of work. Because SMK is based on producing graduates who have competence in their fields. With this condition, it is necessary to conduct training activities and workshops to increase knowledge in the field of information technology to educators. Lecturers of the Faculty of Computer Science of Lancang Kuning University provided this training to educators of SMKN 1 Pangkalan Kuras to overcome problems in students. The implementation was carried out using lecture, practice and discussion methods in the computer laboratory. This activity will produce scientific journals, news of activities published in the mass media and draft teaching modules that can be useful for participants.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi efektivitas pelatihan membuat slide presentasi berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) kepada siswa SMKN 8 Pekanbaru. Penggunaan teknologi AI dalam proses pembuatan slide presentasi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam merancang presentasi yang menarik dan informatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan melibatkan pemberian pelatihan intensif kepada siswa SMKN 8 Pekanbaru menggunakan platform AI khusus untuk pembuatan slide presentasi. Selain itu, data evaluasi dan feedback dari partisipan juga dikumpulkan untuk menganalisis tingkat keefektifan pelatihan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang potensi integrasi AI dalam pembelajaran keterampilan presentasi. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan kurikulum di sekolah dan memajukan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di kalangan siswa SMKN 8 Pekanbaru.
