Abstract

Rattan is a non-wood raw material originating from Indonesia which has become the main source of income for community forests and local governments. Rattan processing has challenges in obtaining raw materials and skilled processing techniques by workers or human resources in order to produce quality output which of course can also advance the company. The use of machines and human resources in the rattan production process can increase production speed and accuracy. This research was conducted to determine the performance of human resources which influences the quality of the rattan products produced. The research method used in this research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach and has an exploratory nature. The data collection technique in the research was carried out by creating an inductive scheme to make it easier for researchers to carry out research analysis and based on existing case studies. Observations were carried out by researchers regarding activities that occurred in the company during the researcher's internship period. The research object of rattan processing and human resources is information from the UD company. Alam Sultra's work. The research results show that the company UD. Karya Alam Sultra carries out empowerment by providing skills and training to its workers to improve the quality of employee performance in processing rattan so that it can become good quality rattan. This proves that there is empowerment in the processing of rattan raw materials, enabling the performance skills of human resources to increase efficiency and innovation in the processing of rattan products and produce quality rattan.

Abstract

Perbedaan sumber daya yang dimiliki setiap negara dapat mendorong aktivitas perdagangan internasional. Sehingga peningkatan aktivitas perdagangan luar negeri maupun dalam negeri telah dirasakan dan memberikan dampak yang signifikan secara strategis pada kenaikan sektor logistik mencapai lebih dari 20%. Peningkatan jasa logistik ini juga dirasakan di Indonesia dimana semakin banyak perusahaan freight forwarding yang bermunculan dan saat ini Indonesia memasuki era pasar global. Salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang freight forwarding adalah PT X terletak di Surabaya yang dituntut untuk meningkatkan permintaan penjualan dalam era pasar global ini dengan menjalankan strategi pasar guna meningkatkan permintaan penjualan dan performa. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis strategi bisnis PT X dengan menggunakan konsep 7P marketing mix yang dianalisis melalui metode triangulasi internal PT X. Hasil penelitian ini nantinya akan diperoleh strategi marketing mix dan berdasarkan analisis hasil tersebut, PT X memerlukan optimalisasi dalam bidang digital marketing & digital collaboration seperti salah satunya ada website trucking dan konten di sosial media. Hasil yang didapatkan akan digunakan untuk pengembangan strategi bisnis dan menangani permasalahan yang terjadi di PT X.

Abstract

Of Indonesia's population, the majority are of productive age, presenting both opportunities and challenges. While this demographic could drive economic progress, limited job vacancies pose a significant issue for young people. Encouraging entrepreneurship is one solution to this problem. A two- day service program was conducted at a private vocational school in Surabaya. The results of pre-test and post-test comparisons revealed improved knowledge, particularly in using Persona Canvas and Business Model Canvas. The Persona Canvas method encourages students to analyze potential buyers' conditions, helping them understand customer needs and problems. Meanwhile, Business Model Canvas, with its nine components, guides students in considering business sustainability. This shift broadened their perspective from focusing solely on technical skills and product sales to recognizing multiple aspects vital to gaining a competitive edge. Participant feedback confirmed that this training effectively nurtures entrepreneurial mindsets, equipping the younger generation with essential skills for future success.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Indonesia menghadapi tantangan untuk keluar dari middle income trap, meskipun telah mencapai status negara berpendapatan menengah keatas. Salah satu langkah penting untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi adalah dengan meningkatkan jumlah wirausahawan melalui penguatan pendidikan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan para guru SMK PK Surabaya melalui Workshop Pembentukan Mindset Kewirausahaan Digital. Metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) digunakan untuk melibatkan guru dalam diskusi dan pengembangan solusi melalui sesi enrichment dan kegiatan berbasis proyek. Program ini berfokus pada pengajaran konsep kewirausahaan digital dan implementasi Empathy Map, yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam mengidentifikasi kebutuhan konsumen. Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman kewirausahaan para guru SMK PK Surabaya, dengan output utama berupa Empathy Map dan inovasi metode pembelajaran kewirausahaan. Workshop ini berhasil mendorong pengembangan keterampilan kewirausahaan di SMK PK Surabaya, yang berpotensi mendukung peningkatan jumlah pengusaha muda dan mengakselerasi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Kata Kunci: middle income trap, kewirausahaan, pendidikan vokasi, mindset kewirausahaan, empathy map [English]: Indonesia faces the challenge of escaping the middle-income trap, despite having achieved the status of an upper-middle-income country. One important step in encouraging economic growth is to increase the number of entrepreneurs through strengthening entrepreneurship education. This community service activity aims to develop the entrepreneurial skills of SMK PK teachers in Surabaya through a Workshop on developing a Digital Entrepreneurship Mindset. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method is utilized to engage teachers in discussions and solution development through enrichment sessions and project-based activities. This program is designed to teach the principles of digital entrepreneurship and how to apply the Empathy Map to develop critical thinking skills for identifying consumer needs. The results of the pretest and posttest show an improvement in the understanding of entrepreneurship among the teachers of SMK PK Surabaya, with the main outputs being an Empathy Map and innovative methods for teaching entrepreneurship. This workshop successfully encouraged the development of entrepreneurial skills at SMK PK Surabaya, which has the potential to support the increase in the number of young entrepreneurs and accelerate Indonesia's economic growth. Abstract

This journal article explores the complex business model of Mazars Group, a global professional service provider specializing in audit, tax, and advisory services. Through the lens of the Business Model Canvas (BMC), critical elements shaping Mazars' operations, including key partnerships, activities, resources, value propositions, customer relationships, channels, customer segments, cost structure, and revenue streams, are thoroughly analyzed. The study employs a qualitative approach, combining insights from interviews with a senior associate and web searches to understand Mazars' business model comprehensively. Mazars' commitment to service quality is emphasized, acknowledging the evolving landscape of technology and competition. The company's competitive advantage derives from critical factors such as strategic partnerships with law firms, consulting firms, and technology providers, extensive global reach, diverse services, and a personalized client approach. The marketing strategy is evaluated, with a recommendation to incorporate Google Ads to enhance visibility and capitalize on online consumer trends. The article highlights Mazars' success in delivering high-quality, integrated services to diverse client segments, ranging from startups to large enterprises and non-profit organizations. The firm's cost structure, revenue diversification, and global presence contribute to its resilience in the professional services industry. Mazars Group's enduring success serves as a valuable case study for professionals, academics, and businesses navigating the complexities of the global economy

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah menjadi permasalahan setiap negara, termasuk Indonesia. Banyak UMKM memiliki kendala untuk dapat bertahan. Salah satu UMKM yang terkena dampak adalah UMKM bidang kuliner. Kegiatan pembatasan telah mengakibatkan perubahan dalam lingkungan bisnis. Pihak UMKM dituntut untuk dapat mengoptimalkan peran teknologi agar dapat bertahan ditengah lingkungan bisnis yang baru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di Sentra Kuliner Tropodo, yang memiliki letak strategis untuk bisnis kuliner. Sebelum pandemi, bisnis kuliner ini berjalan lancar dan banyak pengunjung yang menghabiskan waktu di daerah ini. Namun, semenjak pandemi, jumlah pengunjung telah berkurang sehingga perlu adanya strategi atau inovasi yang dapat menarik pengunjung. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan terkait pengotimalan teknologi dalam aktivitas bisnis. Metode yang digunakan yakni peninjauan, penyuluhan, dan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yakni UMKM dapat memperbaiki layanan dan kualitas yang kurang dengan memanfaatkan penggunaan teknologi digital seperti penggunaan kasir elektronik, pembayaran menggunakan QRIS, dan promosi media sosial.Kata Kunci: teknologi digital, inovasi, kuliner.
