Abstract

Kelelahan kerja merupakan situasi tubuh, kegiatan, dan motivasi yang melemah untuk mengerjakan pekerjaan. Status gizi merupakan kebutuhan gizi, yang harus dipenuhi oleh setiap tenaga kerja karena dapat berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan dan mengoptimalkan daya kerja pekerja. Iklim kerja adalah hasil perpaduan antara suhu, kelembapan, kecepatan gerakan udara dan panas radiasi dengan tingkat pengeluaran panas dari tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Status Gizi dan Iklim Kerja dengan Tingkat Kelelahan Kerja di Unit Metalurgi Mentok PT. Timah Tbk. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel 70 responden, teknik sampling dengan consecutive sampling dengan menggunakan Kuisioner FAS, ISBB, dan IMT. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistic chi square. Hasil : diperoleh hasil mayoritas Usia (Usia Dewasa) 35 responden 60,0 %, Masa Kerja Lama (> 5 tahun) 58 responden 82,9 %, Status Gizi Gemuk 33 responden 47,1 %, Iklim Kerja Melewati NAB 40 responden 57,1 %, Kelelahan Kerja 42 reponden 60,0 %. Diperoleh nilai p value = 0,002 (p value < 0,05) untuk Status Gizi dan p value = 0,000 (p value <0,05) untuk Iklim Kerja maka H0 ditolak , yang artinya ada hubungan antara Status Gizi dan Iklim Kerja dengan Tingkat Kelelahan Kerja di Unit Metalurgi Mentok PT. TimahTbk. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk acuan untuk memodifikasi lingkungan kerja (Iklim Kerja) dan Status Gizi untuk mengurangi tingkat Kelelahan Kerja.

Abstract

Hypertension is an abnormal increase in blood pressure. This occurs when arterioles contract. Arteriolar contraction makes blood flow difficult and increases pressure against the artery walls. Single garlic contains compounds such as allicin and hydrogen sulfide, which effectively break down blood clots in the arteries, thereby reducing blood pressure. This study aims to analyze the effect of boiled garlic water on lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the RT 04 RW 04 Pakansari Village area. The research design uses a quasi-experimental method with a Non-randomized pretest and posttest without a control design. The sample size in this study is 24 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The instruments in this study are 4 grams of single garlic, 250 ml of warm water, a blender, a Sphygmomanometer, and a stethoscope. The statistical test used is paired T-test with the research results showing a significant effect on lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients after being given boiled single garlic water with a p-value of 0.000. This indicates the influence of boiled garlic water on lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients, and it is hoped that in the future, the results of this study can be used as one of the non-pharmacological therapies for grade I and grade II hypertensive patients.

Abstract

Hypercholesterolemia is an increase in cholesterol levels in the blood, exceeding the normal limit, which is ≥ 200 mg/dl. If left untreated, it can lead to coronary heart disease, stroke, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus. The management of hypercholesterolemia can be done in two ways: pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. One non-pharmacological therapy that can reduce cholesterol levels is the consumption of mung bean extract and avocado. This study aims to determine the effect of mung bean extract therapy and avocado juice on reducing cholesterol levels in hypercholesterolemia patients in RT 003 RW 005, Pondok Benda Subdistrict, South Tangerang. The research design used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study consisted of hypercholesterolemia patients, with a total sample of 26 respondents. The sampling technique used was probability sampling. The statistical tests used were the paired T-test and independent T-test. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of giving mung bean extract with a p-value = 0.001 (p<0.05), there was an effect of giving avocado juice with a p-value = 0.001 (p<0.05), and there was no difference between the administration of mung bean extract and avocado juice with a p-value = 0.925 (p>0.05) on reducing cholesterol levels in hypercholesterolemia patients. The results of this study are expected to serve as independent nursing interventions in providing complementary therapy to reduce cholesterol levels in hypercholesterolemia patients.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disorder caused by impaired insulin function, leading to hyperglycemia (blood sugar <200 mg/dL). Its management includes pharmacological therapy (insulin) and non-pharmacological approaches, such as the use of cinnamon powder and honey. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of cinnamon powder and honey on reducing blood sugar levels in Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients in RT 007 and 008/RW 05, Balekambang Subdistrict, East Jakarta. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test post-test without control. The population consisted of Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients, with a sample of 32 respondents selected through consecutive sampling. The research instruments included a glucometer, observation sheets, cinnamon powder, and honey. Statistical analysis was performed using the Paired T-test. The results showed the average blood sugar level before the intervention (247.0 mg/dL) and after the intervention (222.7 mg/dL) using the combination of cinnamon powder and honey. The test results indicated a significant relationship between the combination of cinnamon powder infusion and honey with a reduction in blood sugar levels in Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients in RT 007 and 008/RW 05, Balekambang Subdistrict, East Jakarta, with a p-value = 0.000 < 0.05. This study provides recommendations for nursing services to implement non-pharmacological therapy to reduce blood sugar levels.

Abstract

Introduction: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a non-communicable disease that often causes low oxygen levels and shortness of breath. The semi-Fowler position and clapping are non-pharmacological techniques that help improve lung function and clear mucus. This study aims to determine their effect on increasing oxygen saturation in COPD patients.  Methods: This experimental study included 18 COPD patients in the Hospital Care Unit (HCU), selected through consecutive sampling. Inclusion criteria were diagnosed COPD, conscious patients willing to participate, and oxygen saturation below 90%. Exclusion criteria included hemodynamic instability. The intervention involved placing patients in a semi-Fowler position (45° incline) to enhance lung expansion and performing clapping (gently tapping the chest with cupped hands) to aid mucus clearance. Oxygen saturation was measured before and after using a pulse oximeter. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test was used to analyze non-normally distributed data.  Results: The mean oxygen saturation before intervention was 85.94%, increasing to 98.56% post-intervention, with a significant improvement of 12.62% (p=0.00, p < 0.05). Demographic data, including age, gender, and COPD severity, were collected. Conclusion: The semi-Fowler position and clapping significantly improve oxygen saturation in COPD patients, highlighting their clinical usefulness. Future research should explore long-term effects, different COPD severities, and combinations with other respiratory therapies for better disease management.

Abstract

Covid-19 kepanjangan dari Corona Virus Disease–19 adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus Severe Acutte Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pada manusia biasanya menyebabkan penyakit infeksi saluran pernafasan, mulai flu biasa hingga penyakit yang serius seperti Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS). Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah penyebaran penyakit Covid-19 adalah dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan (menggunakan masker, mencuci tangan, menjaga jarak, menghindari kerumunan, mengurangi mobilisasi). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik korelasi dengan desain studi cross sectional. Sampel merupakan seluruh siswa di SMP Yayasan Raudhatul Hikmah Anisa Kresek dengan menggunakan metode total sampling sebanyak 100 orang. Pengambilan data dengan menggunakan Quesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang covid-19 dengan perilaku menerapkan protokol kesehatan (p=0,144). Maka penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terbanyak responden yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup baik yaitu (57,0%) dan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki perilaku menerapkan protokol kesehatan yang baik.
