Abstract

This community service is motivated by the shortage of students at Islamic Boarding School to write student scientific papers. The Youth Science Club extracurricular at Islamic Boarding School Daarul Ukhuwah was established to foster a tradition of research and scientific thinking. The initial initiation of KIR stemmed from not all santri graduates continuing their studies in Arab countries; some santri would continue their studies at Indonesian universities, and scientific writing skills needed to be developed early. However, KIR's efforts to cultivate research and scientific traditions are hampered by the many students interested in this extracurricular activity. To address this issue, the community service team, in collaboration with the person in charge of KIR, selects students who have the potential to participate in KIR and enrols them in research training on September 9-10, 2023, which aims to increase knowledge of the significance of the research being conducted while also attracting students' interest in participating in KIR. Students in research training are tasked with developing simple research logic, carrying out simple research that has been prepared, and reporting on it through presentations and simple scientific writing. During research training, students demonstrate enthusiasm. This primary research training is expected to help strengthen KIR at the Islamic Boarding School Daarul Ukhuwwah Putri 2. However, the KIR supervisor must demonstrate sustainability to continue this essential research activity.

Abstract

Keluarga Dhuafa adalah sekelompok keluarga atau masyarakat yang lemah secara ekonomi dan membutuhkan bantuan. Kelompok ini berjuang setiap hari  melawan kemiskinan yang  melanda kehidupan mereka dan menderita dampak ekonomi yang semakin parah akibat meningkatnya harga barang-barang sehari-hari yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dasar mereka. Analisis mengungkapkan, Ibu Neng Ayu warga Lubang Buaya, Jakarta Timur, merupakan salah satu  kelompok Dhuafa yang membutuhkan perhatian dan dukungan. Melalui pemberdayaan, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan keluarga prasejahtera agar mampu memanfaatkan peluang usaha dengan lebih baik melalui upaya mewujudkan usaha Nasi Uduk Ibu Neng Ayu. Dengan meningkatkan keterampilan mereka, diharapkan proyek ini akan memperbaiki perekonomian beserta masalah-masalah yang ada dan memberikan dukungan yang diperlukan agar keluarga miskin dapat mandiri secara finansial dan menjalankan bisnis mereka secara berkelanjutan. Hal ini telah terlaksana. Metode pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap. Pertama, memantau situasi keluarga miskin, merumuskan rencana program pemberdayaan bagi keluarga miskin, melaksanakan program pengumpulan dana, dan membantu mengumpulkan dana usaha serta memberikan bimbingan kepada keluarga miskin. Hasil dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan sangat membantu keluarga Dhuafa Ibu Neng Ayu di Lubang Buaya, Jakarta Timur. Keluarga Dhuafa ini berusaha menghidupi keuangan keluarganya dengan mendirikan usaha nasi uduk.

Abstract

Stevia can be developed by vegetative and generative propagation, while the generative propagation of stevia can be done through seeds. Conventional provision of seeds or seedlings has a low success rate. Propagation via tissue culture is faster, produces more seeds, and is identical to the parent, so the plants’ quality is expected. Plant growth regulator (PGR) often used for tissue culture is type auxins, cytokinins and gibberellins. The function of auxin and cytokinin for division cells, cell elongation, cell differentiation and organ formation. This research aims to get the concentration as well as the best combination for the growth of stevia plants against the administration of thidiazuron (TDZ) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA). Research carried out by the randomised block design (RBD) factorial pattern consisting of two factors: TDZ and NAA. The first factor is TDZ concentration consisting of three levels: 0 mg.l-1 (T0), 1 mg.l-1 (T1), and 2 mg. l-1 (T2). The second factor is NAA concentration, which consists of three levels: 0 mg.l-1 (N0), 1 mg.l-1 (N1), and 2 mg.l-1 (N1). If there is a difference in data analysis using the F test, then proceed with the BNT level test of 5%. Based on the research results obtained, the influence of TDZ growth regulators and no effect of the concentration of NAA growth regulator on stevia bud multiplication book number. There is an effect of TDZ on plantlet height, leaves, and stevia shoot multiplication nodes.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan stok dan distribusi produk pada industri makanan dan minuman. PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur sebagai salah satu perusahaan terkemuka di sektor ini menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara persediaan dan permintaan pasar, serta memastikan kelancaran distribusi produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan SIM dalam mengoptimalkan manajemen stok dan distribusi produk guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional perusahaan. Metode penelitian mencakup pendekatan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan SIM memungkinkan perusahaan untuk melakukan pemantauan stok secara real-time, meningkatkan akurasi prediksi kebutuhan barang, serta mempercepat proses distribusi sehingga risiko kelebihan dan kekurangan stok dapat diminimalkan. Dengan integrasi teknologi informasi yang tepat, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, transparansi proses bisnis, serta daya saing perusahaan di pasar yang kompetitif.

Abstract

The service team carried out was entitled "Utilization of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) for Village Mapping and Economic Empowerment of Village Communities Through Silvofishery in Kedai Damar Village, " Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra.PKM activities with this partnership scheme focus on the field of information technology with geospatial information systems through drones for mapping village administrative centers. Some people in Kedai Damar Village have a livelihood as casual daily laborers, farmers, and entrepreneurs. Partner problems that become priority are: (1) There is no mapping of the central area of ​​the village administration, and (2) Lack of community knowledge of land use through silvofishery. Therefore, the solution offered is using drone technology (Unmanned Aeriel Vechiel) for mapping village administration and increasing the skills and insight of the village community by training on land use based on the silvofishery system as a solution to improving the economy of the Kedai Damar Village community. The main objective of this service is to map Kedai Damar Village's administrative center. Immigrant communities can utilize this map as a public service. Another goal is to train the community by increasing community skills through silvofishery-based land use for catfish and eel cultivation and reforestation with guava, jengkol, and petai seeds.
