Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Learning Trajectory peserta didik pada proses pembelajaran materi kubus dengan meninjau pada kemampuan matematis dan gaya belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes angket gaya belajar, tes tulis learning trajectory dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan hasil analisis learning trajectory peserta didik dengan kemampuan matematis tinggi,sedang, dan rendah serta karakteristik gaya belajar peserta didik audio, visual dan kinestetik. Terdapat keberagaman learning trajectory pada peserta didik dalam memahami materi kubus, dimana Hypothetical Learning Trajectory yang disusun peneliti sebagai alur pemahaman materi kubus. Peserta didik dengan kemampuan matematis tinggi telah mampu memahami materi kubus sebagaimana hasil wawancara memperkuat jawaban hasil tes. Subjek yang memiliki kemampuan matematis sedang telah mampu memahami sebagian materi kubus. Subjek dengan kemampuan matematis rendah belum sesuai dengan capaian Hypothetical learning trajectory yang disusun peneliti karena belum memahami materi penunjang kubus. Selanjutnya peserta didik yang bergaya belajar audio memahami materi kubus ketika benar-benar memperhatikan guru menjelaskan, Subjek yang bergaya belajar visual, menunjukkan pemahaman jika subjek dibantu dengan gambar materi yang jelas. Selain itu subjek dengan gaya belajar kinestetik akan mempelajari hal-hal yang konkrit.

Abstract

Koneksi matematis merupakan kemampuan mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan dengan bidang lain, termasuk hubungannya dengan aktivitas sehari-hari. Pada kenyataannya koneksi matematika siswa cukup lemah. Upaya untuk meningkatkan konektivitas matematis tersebut memerlukan model pembelajaran yang lebih aktif, salah satunya adalah model peer tutoring cooperative learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan koneksi matematis antara kedua kelas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan Jenis penelitian eksperimen semu yang menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kasokandel dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 56 siswa terdiri dari 28 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 28 siswa di kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data melalui tes berupa posttest kemudian dilakukan analisis menggunakan uji T. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pada penelitian ini kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kasokandel menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata antara kelas eksperimen dengan model peer tutoring cooperative learning dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional, hal tersebut terlihat dari nilai sig. sebesar 0,033 < 0,05.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an effective didactic design to address students' learning obstacles in the concept of value ratios. A qualitative research method was employed, specifically utilizing Didactical Design Research. Data were collected through tests, interviews, observations, and documentation from 8th-grade students at MTs PUI Kancana who had studied the subject matter. The didactic design was based on the analysis of learning obstacles and trajectories, metapedadidactics, and retrospectives. Following the implementation of the instructional design in 7th-grade class A at MTs PUI Kancana, which had not received prior instruction on value comparison, a decrease in students' learning obstacles was observed. Although not all learning obstacles were eliminated, the didactic design effectively reduced the barriers encountered by the students. This research holds significant implications for instructional development. By employing the didactic design for value ratios, it provides an alternative approach to enhance students' understanding and mastery of value comparison concepts. Consequently, this study offers an accurate and comprehensive overview of the didactic design approach to address learning obstacles in the context of value comparison. The findings highlight the importance of employing effective didactic designs to improve learning outcomes in the domain of value ratios.

Abstract

The numerical ability of Indonesian students is still recorded at a low level. This is based on the results of the Indonesian language mathematics PISA test which also includes a numerical ability test with a score of 403 in 2015 and 396 in This study analyzes students' numerical ability in completing the Three Variable Linear Equation System (SPLTV) material at SMA Negeri 1 Kasokandel. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, which is a method of analyzing data related to a case. This study involved 30 students of class X-G as subjects. Data were collected through numerical ability tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the level of students' numerical ability was quite good, with most students being able to perform mathematical calculations and solve problems although there were still minor errors that needed to be corrected. Analysis of the forms of problems faced by students showed difficulties in understanding the basic concepts of SPLTV, variable identification, integration of mathematical concepts, verification of solutions, and adaptation to variations in questions. These findings highlight the importance of developing logical thinking skills and conceptual understanding in the learning process. Recommendations provided include the integration of diverse teaching methods by teachers, the provision of adequate educational resources by schools, the development of disciplined study habits by students, and the need for further research to examine other factors that influence students' numerical abilities.
