Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching resources based on West Java ethnomathematics, while the teaching resources developed are learning modules. The method used in this study is R&D method using the ADDIE development steps (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The finished product is validated by 2 experts. each expert is given an assessment sheet regarding the learning module. The first expert assesses the suitability of the material used in the module, while the second expert assesses the feasibility of the module from the appearance aspect. The results of the validation by the first expert stated that the module was included in the "Very good" criteria with a percentage of 91%. Similar results by the second expert stated that the module was included in the "Very good" criteria with a percentage of 88.86%. After the module is declared valid, the learning module is used by the teacher in learning activities. Tests are given to students at the beginning and the end of learning activities to assess their learning achievement. ased on the results of the Independent Sample T-test with a confidence level of 95% and = 5%, the t-value is 3.172 and the t-table is 2.00324. These results indicate that the value of t> t-table, it means that the increase in learning achievement of the experimental class is higher than the control class. Finally, it can be concluded that the use of the teaching resources is effective in improving student achievement.

Abstract

One of the causes of the unattractiveness of learning mathematics for high school is the complexity factor of learning media that is in harmony with complex material. Therefore, learning media need a form of presentation that is simple but attractive. Efforts to increase student interest, which require media to support learning mathematics. One of them is by using Geogebra learning media. This study aims to determine the influence of the use of learning media based on the Geogebra application on student learning outcomes at Senior High School 8 Cirebon. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design, which is a research method that has a control group, but cannot function fully to control external variables that affect the implementation of the experiment. The results of the study obtained the value of F-count > Ftable or 26,358 > 4,13. And the correlation (r) = 0.661 then it is included in the medium category. The coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.437 or 43.7%, then the learning media has an effect on student learning outcomes on the subject of trigonometric functions. Based on the results of the Independent T-test analysis, the t-count value of 11,037 using a significance level of 5% obtained t-table of 1,994. The t-table value is obtained from the excel program by means of =tinv(0.05;69.) then enter. Because the value of t-count > t-table (11.037 > 1.994) then Ho is rejected. This means that Geogebra learning media can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study has the following objectives: 1) To determine the development of the probing-prompting learning model assisted by the mathematics learning module to increase students' motivation and mathematics learning outcomes, 2) To test the effectiveness of the probing-prompting learning model assisted by the mathematics learning module to increase motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics student. This type of research is an RnD (Research and Development) model using the 4-D method that Thiagarajan and Sammel developed, namely the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. This research was conducted at SMPN 01 Banjarharjo with a sample of 64 students. Collected data in this study using several instruments, including implementing learning plans, tests, motivation, and student response questionnaires. The results that have been obtained from the research are: 1) the Probing-Prompting learning model assisted by the Learning Module, after being validated and tested, it shows that it is convenient in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes, 2) The application of the Probing-Prompting learning model assisted by the Learning Module, can be said to be effective with an increase that occurred in students' motivation and mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Learning resources in the form of textbooks and LKS often make students feel bored during learning activities, because these two learning sources often only contain formulas and material, without any comprehensive explanation of mathematical concepts. Therefore, there is a need for innovation in the learning resources used in schools. This research is aimed at developing handouts for class VIII on flat sided of three-dimensional material based on the Realistic Mathematics Learning approach. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) with the 4-D model development method by Thiagarajan, namely: 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop, and 4) Disseminate. The results of the material expert's validation of the handout showed an average value of 0.8106 with high validity criteria and was declared feasible. The results of the media expert's validation of the handout showed an average value of 0.8698 with high validity criteria and was declared feasible. From the post-test results of the experimental class, it was found that almost all students passed. The results of the Independent Sample T-Test at the testing stage for the use of the experimental class showed a value of 0.034, thus a significance value of <0.05 was obtained, which means that there was a significant difference in improving student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. This is in line with the students' responses at the usage trial stage obtaining a percentage of 79% with the criteria that almost all students gave a positive response to the handout.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah khususnya pada materi statistika. Salah satu cara agar kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa meningkat dan mendapatkan respon yang tepat yaitu dengan cara membuat desain didaktis yang dianalisis berdasarkan learning obstacle yang teridentifikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) untuk mengetahui hambatan belajar yang dialami peserta didik terkait dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam materi statistika, (2) untuk memperoleh desain didaktis awal materi statistika berdasarkan hambatan belajar peserta didik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan (3) untuk mengimplementasi desain didaktis yang disusun berdasarkan hambatan belajar peserta didik yang muncul. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan menerapkan jenis Didactical Desain Research yang dikembang melalui 3 tahapan yaitu analisis prospektif, analisis metapedadidaktis dan analisis retrospektif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Astanajapura dengan kelas IX D sebagai kelas yang telah mempelajari materi statistika serta kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Astanajapura sebagai kelas implementasi desain didaktis. Hasil penelitian (1) mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dialami peserta didik pada materi statistika, (2) memperoleh desain didaktis hipotesis pada materi statistika, dan (3) mengimplementasikan desain didaktis hipotesis pada materi statistika.

Abstract

This study disscusses student"™s errors in completing mathematical problems based on Newman"™s Errror Analysis and Polya Theory. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subject of this study are 78 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Cirebon. The study uses tests and interviews as data collection techniques. Students take a test to determine their mathematical ability, and the test uses sequence and series as subjects. There are 3 phases in collecting data: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Outline of Error analysis is created using five types of student mathematical error of Newman's Error Analysis and four types of student mathematical error of Polya Theory. The study results based on Newman's Error Analysis are errors reading by 1%, error understanding by 0%, error transforms by 3%, error processing ability by 5%, and error encoding by 7%. As the result of the study based Polya theory, errors when understanding the problem by 31%, errors when devising a plan by 11%, errors when carrying out the plan by 9%, and errors when Looking back by 33%. The result of the interview shows that the error occurs when students don"™t do calculations carefully, don"™t learn the formula, and cannot distinguish between sequence and series. Students also have a lack of understanding when completing the problem about compound interest.

Abstract

This study aims to develop web-based learning media using the educandy application to increase student learning motivation at MTs Al Washliyah. The research method used is Research and Development (RD), using the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The learning media developed resulted in a web learning media product. This study used probability sampling with the cluster random sampling method and obtained a sample at MTs Al Washliyah Talun involving 20 seventh grade students. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and unstructured interviews. The research instruments used in this study were expert validation questionnaire, student response questionnaire, student learning motivation questionnaire and pretest-posttest questionnaire.  The data analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Qualitative data analysis is used to conduct theoretical studies and observations, while quantitative data analysis is used to calculate expert validation scores, student response questionnaires, student learning motivation questionnaires and N Gain tests. The results of this study indicate that the learning media developed is feasible to use based on expert validation with a very feasible category, and can effectively increase student learning motivation based on the results of the N Gain test and learning motivation questionnaire, and get a response with a very practical category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses, kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan pengembangan pada modul dengan berbasis model CORE dan problem solving polya untuk meningkatkan self regulated learning dan critical thinking. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan (RnD) dengan metode ADDIE (Analys, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil kevalidan pada proses pengembangan dari aspek materi, aspek media, dan aspek bahasa dinyatakan sangat valid. Selanjutnya, pada kepraktisan mendapatkan kriteria sangat praktis sedangkan pada keefektifan modul yang dikembangkan dikatakan efektif karena nilai N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibandingkan nilai N-gain kelas kontrol. Peningkatan pada self regulated learning sebesar 16% dan peningkatan pada critical thinking sebesar 48,3%.

Abstract

Teaching materials have an important role for the continuation of learning so that student learning outcomes are more optimal. Teachers must create a learning media and teaching materials that of course so that students feel interested and active during learning. During a pandemic like this, online learning is certainly not effective if the use of print-based teaching materials is carried out, due to the limited communication between students and teachers. One of the teaching materials that can be sought to improve student learning outcomes is E-Module-based teaching materials with the Quizizz application. The population is all students of Class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Sumber for the 2021/2022 school year. Samples in this study. The class used is class VII G as the control class and VII I as the experimental class. The instruments used are tests and questionnaires. The results of this research are: Based on the validation results from material experts and media experts that the development of e-module-based teaching materials with the quizizz application is suitable for use as mathematics teaching materials and Students' mathematics learning outcomes increase after the provision of e-module teaching materials with the quizizzi application in the learning process.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran matematika, masih terdapat guru yang hanya mengandalkan papan tulis, buku paket, dan LKS. Hal ini mengakibatkan pembelajaran cenderung membosankan dan berlangsung satu arah, di mana siswa cenderung menjadi pasif dan kurang antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika dalam bentuk video interaktif math battle. Video yang dikembangkan bersifat interaktif yaitu dilengkapi dengan kuis interaktif sehingga siswa dapat terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini, penambahan kuis interaktif menggunakan H5P. Selain itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan media, menilai respon siswa terhadap media, dan untuk mengetahui apakah media video interaktif math battle dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa. Pengembangan media dilakukan untuk pembelajaran matematika aritmetika sosial pada topik harga penjualan, harga pembelian, untung, dan rugi. Pengembangan media menggunakan model ADDIE dengan melibatkan siswa MTs Salafiyah Kota Cirebon sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil evaluasi oleh para ahli menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran video interaktif math battle yang dihasilkan sangat layak, baik dari segi media maupun materi. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh ahli materi diperoleh persentase sebesar 100% berada pada kategori sangat layak. Sedangkan berdasarkan penialain ahli media, diperoleh persentase sebesar 83% juga berada pada kategori sangat layak. Ditemukan respon positif dari siswa terhadap video interaktif math battle, dengan persentase sebesar 90% pada kategori sangat positif. Rata-rata Nilai N-Gain motivasi belajar siswa mencapai 0.57 berapa pada kategori sedang. Adapun dalam bentuk persen, N-Gain yang diperoleh adalah 56.8% yang termasuk pada kategori efektif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa video interaktif math battle dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
