The background to this article is the leadership crisis in Indonesia. Before the 2024 general election, the author examines the characteristics of leaders who can realize people's welfare. The aim is to minimize leadership that makes people miserable. Then, the author examines the story of Panglima To Dilaling as text A and story of Musa as text B. The approach used is a cross-textual reading study. The story of Panglima To Dilaling and the story of Musa have several similar story motifs in the process of becoming a leader. A comparison of these two texts provides several characteristics of leaders who can overcome the leadership crisis and p rosper the community. Text A also provides several enriching interpretations of text B. The author finds that the story of Panglima To Dilaling enriches the story of Musa. Moses is able to free Israel because he received a call from God and because of his forgiving, sacrificial, and nurturing character. This character is the reflective material for choosing leaders.

The purposeof this study is to address the various impact if the “mukbang” phenomenon. “Mukbang” often leads to ethical breaches in eating, promotes unhealthy dietary habits, and results in significant food waste. Additionally, there is a troubling disparity, as Broadcast Jockey (BJ) squander food while many people face food shortages and hunger. To develop a proper understanding of eating, the author references 1 Corinthians 11:17-34. The research method used is tradition criticism, focusing on eating traditions in the Old and New Testament texts. The findings suggest that “mukbang” should be grounded in the essential purpose of food, which is to sustain life. This principle should underpin healthy eating habits and emphasize the importance of sharing food in “mukbang” broadcast.

This research explores the discord of belief between Aluk Mappurondo and Christianity in Mamasa, West Sulawesi, which is evident in residential segregation and the decline of relations between the two religions. As we aim to identify the common ground between them, the study uses a comparative approach to analyze the similarities and differences in the cosmologies of Aluk Mappurondo and Christianity. Despite their differing cosmologies, we find that Aluk Mappurondo and Christianity can coexist by defining and respecting each other's territories. They can also collaborate to uphold ethical values as well as demonstrate shared ecological concern in preserving forests and agricultural land in Mamasa.

Abstract: “Wahyu dalam Aluk Mappurondo” is the author's critique which is motivated by concern about the stereotypes that develop among Christians against Aluk Mappurondo. The stereotype in question is the label "to malillim", which literally means "people who are in the dark". This label is used to distinguish Christians from Aluk Mappurondo adherents. In this paper, the author identifies the label attached to Aluk Mappurondo as a Christian error in understanding God's work in other religions. To prove this error, the author examines the story of the development of the Bible in Buntu Malangka' and also the story of Cornelius (Acts 10:1-48). Both of these texts tell about the work or revelation of God that occurs in religions outside of Christianity. The approach used is cross-textual reading. At the end of this paper, the author finds that the story of the arrival of the Gospel in Buntu Malangka and the story of Cornelius indicates that religions other than Christianity also receive revelations from God, and are able to guide them towards God's plan. This conclusion confirms that the stereotype that regards Aluk Mappurondo as To Malilim is a wrong assumption.

“Spiritual Pairan” is a writing that aims to construct a new human theology in the context of Mamasa. This research starts from the problem of reducing cultural identity in the post-evangelism church conducted by Geleijnse. In addition, Aluk Mappurondo adherents claim to be "more Christian" than adherents of Christianity which is indicated by their more devout way of religion than adherents of Christianity. Responding to this problem, the author analyzes the text of Colossians 2:16-4:1 and the concept of pairan, to construct a contextual new human in Mamasa. The approach used by the author is a local theological approach. The author hopes that this approach can construct a new human concept that is contextual in Mamasa, so that the churches in Mamasa can show a quality of life that respects culture and displays ethical quality in their lives. After conducting the analysis, the writer finds that the new human construction in the Mamasa context is pairan spirituality. The author recommends that research on the encounter of each component in pairan with Christian traditions can be followed up, such as pairan dapo' with Christian families and pairan lembä with Christian leadership.

This article aims to reconstruct the church mission in the context of religious moderation. Religious moderation has led to the need to review the church's mission in the form of Christianization, stealing own, and the church's appearance in the public space that debates as conservative and liberal. This action has become a problem in the history of Christian encounters with other religions and internal church relations across denominations. The research approach in this paper is a library research. The author collected data through books and research journals related to religious moderation, missions, and the letter 1 Corinthians. The author finds that the church mission in 1 Corinthians is to be a congregation that avoids syncretism, internalizes religious identity and collective ethics, and uses love as the spirit to construct a solidary and missionary community.

This article aims to respond to the hustle culture phenomenon in church life and today's society. People recognize hustle culture as an alternative to success. However, hustle culture constructs a way of working that works all the time and results in chronic fatigue, depression, and even death. The author responds to this problem by studying the text of Exodus 23:12 using the historical-grammatical interpretation method. The author finds that hustle culture is the new face of slavery in the modern era. The author offers to deconstruct the hustle culture version of the concept of success through a holistic perspective. Successful work also requires balanced attention to employee achievement and welfare. Workers and companies must limit working time to comply with the employment contract without additional work. Workers should not fight fatigue but should take time to rest and calm down. Some of these alternatives are the author's offer to address the impact of hustle culture.

Abstract: The environmental pollution rate in Indonesia is still high in 2021. Some cases of pollution and forest fires in the mass media further confirm that the environmental crisis is still a struggle for the Indonesian people. The church as part of society must participate in solving this problem. To participate in efforts to build the church's ecological awareness, the author interprets the text of Colossians 1:19-20 through an ecological hermeneutic approach. Specifically, this text contains reconciliation from God to all things. The results of the author's interpretation indicate that reconciliation from God implies the restoration of creation towards its creation purpose. At the end of this paper, the author seeks for the church to make conservation ministry a part of ecclesiastical ministry to bridge the gap between the implications of God's reconciliation and and the current ecological facts. Keywords: Colossians 3, conservation, ecology, environmental crisis, reconciliation. Kata-kata Kunci: ekologi, Kolose 3, konservasi, krisis lingkungan, rekonsiliasi.
