Abstract

Financial literacy is the ability and the knowledge of individual or communities regarding to all their financial resources from decision making until how to manage it. Therefore, education about financial literacy is very necessary from an early age, especially starting from elementary school student. The problem at the 060888 Public Elementary School in Medan at this time is no financial literacy education, so that the correct introduction and implementation of financial literacy has not been implemented yet. By this community service program, students get a good understanding and knowledge about financial literacy. This program is carried out by several methods, there are financial literacy education, implementation of financial literacy, and provide reading corners by providing financial books for elementary school student as well as monitoring and evaluating.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the welfare of the farming community in Humbang Hasundutan, especially farmers in Ria-Ria Village, Pollung District through marketing using online media. Farmers must be able to adapt to technological developments, and must be able to access the latest information related to agriculture and marketing, where utilizing digital media is a challenge for them. This service method is carried out by socializing, training to operate a website, creating a marketing account and how to start selling through one of the leading marketplaces. The results of this service are expected to contribute to improving the economy of the farmers in the Humbahas food estate and to introduce their agricultural products more broadly to the entire community.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether the Labor Productivity variable is ableto become an intervening variable between the Education, Health andInternet Users variable on Indonesia's Economic Growth in the 2015-2019 period. The method used is Path Analysis using the Eviewsprogram. The data used is in the form of panels consisting of 34provinces in Indonesia over a period of 5 (five) years. For modelselection using the Chow Test and Hausman Test and from the two teststhe Fixed Effect Model was selected. For the value of the EducationVariable, the average length of school data is used; the health variableuses life expectancy data and vaternet uses internet user data. Theresults of this study indicate that the Labor Productivity variable is notan intervening variable between the Education, Health, Internet variableand the Economic Growth variable as seen from the Sobel Test resultswhich have a value of less than 1.96 at 𝛼=5%. The direct effect of theEducation variable on Labor Productivity is negative and notsignificant. The direct effect of the Health variable on LaborProductivity is negative and significant. The direct effect of the Internetvariable on Labor Productivity is positive and not significant. Thedirect effect of the Education variable on Economic Growth is negativeand significant. The direct effect of the Health variable on EconomicGrowth is positive and not significant. The direct effect of Internetvariable on economic growth is positive and significant. The directeffect of the Labor Productivity variable on Economic Growth isnegative and not significant.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur aim to increase students' understanding of Indonesian customs and culture, especially North Sumatra. The implementation method shown to partners is to use media that illustrates and provides clear information and knowledge about the diversity of customs and culture in North Sumatra, through exposure, question and answer discussions and video screenings of various dances in North Sumatra, which are played directly by students of the Development Economics Study Program, University of North Sumatra, as well as video screenings of traditional houses in North Sumatra, tribes originating from North Sumatra, to traditional houses in North Sumatra. Partners are expected to contribute to increasing the knowledge and understanding of Indonesian School Kuala Lumpur students towards ethnic and cultural diversity in North Sumatra and support a sense of nationalism in order to preserve these customs and cultures.
