Abstract

The development of knowledge and technology today encourages people to continue to think more creatively, not only exploring new discoveries, but also maximizing the performance of existing technology and continuing to innovate to ease human work in everyday life. The field of knowledge and technology is developing very rapidly, therefore we must be able to compete and master technology. Cultivating ornamental plants and fruit trees is a promising business. However, it is not easy to maintain. Like humans, plants need water for growth and development. Plants should not lack or excess water, soil that lacks water makes plants grow slowly and in ornamental plants makes plants look not fresh and wilted and vice versa, plants that have too much water also make plants unhealthy and can even cause plants to die. In watering plants, the owner usually does not pay attention to the conditions and needs of the plant. This causes plants not to get water intake that is in accordance with the needs of the plant itself. For this reason, this final project aims to make a plant watering device automatically by paying attention to soil moisture levels. By using a soil moisture sensor that functions as a reader of soil moisture levels. Then use a relay that functions to turn off and turn on the water pump. The ESP8266 module is also used as a data sender to the web which produces a display of sensor reading data results.

Abstract

To carry out the process of diagnosing pneumonia requires a fast and accurate process. The problem that occurs is that the diagnosis of pneumonia is still done manually. This causes a long time to wait for the availability of specialists, so technology is needed that can help pulmonary specialists to analyze early X-rays quickly and accurately with the use of computer-based information technology and data. It is hoped that this research will provide a solution to the problem and also help speed up the initial diagnosis using the CNN method. The CNN method was chosen because it has a high introduction to the deep learning process. In the CNN method there are various kinds of architectures that are generated through the experimental process that has been carried out by previous researchers. The problem that occurs is that the diagnosis of pneumonia is still done manually. This causes a long time to wait for the availability of specialists, so technology is needed that can help pulmonary specialists to analyze early X-rays quickly and accurately with the use of computer based information technology and data. This Pneumonia Detection System which is made using Python and uses the Convolutional Neural Network method can predict Pneumonia Disease using X-ray images with an Accuracy Rate of 91%, which can recommend to expert doctors and help the public recognize pneumonia.

Abstract

Cutting Stock Problem (CSP) is a classic problem involving cutting long stocks into smaller products with certain quantities. The optimization is to find cutting patterns with minimum waste. In construction industries, CSP applies to steel bar cutting. The steel bar is an important element in making reinforced concrete. The length of the steel bars from the steel manufacturers is fixed, while the requirements for the constructions are varying. The problem is to find optimized way to cut long, fixed-length steel bars into smaller, varying length bars required in the constructions. The requirements are different from building to building, both in the lengths and quantities. Many studies have been extensively done on the subject, from Brute Force, Greedy Search to Linear Programming. In this paper the study focuses on Genetic Algorithm approach. The results look promising for Fitness Function 1 where the focus is to minimize waste. Waste ranges from 2.03% to 4.31%. Fitness function 2 and 3 do not emphasize merely on minimizing the waste, but also on contiguity. Therefore the residues are more, ranges from 2.21% to 4.91% for Fitness Function 2 and from 2.03% to 30.7% for Fitness Function 3

Abstract

Kebiasaan manusia yang sering lupa untuk mengunci pintu saat akan meninggalkan rumah mengakibatkan kejadian yang menimbulkan kerugian bagi pemilik rumah karena pada saat mengunci pintu masih menggunakan teknikal atau manual. Maka dari itu memerlukan notifikasi dan pencegahan apabila pintu rumah sedang terbuka ketika kita meninggalkan rumah. Dalam permasalahan ini, memanfaatkan teknologi dan aplikasi yang sudah ada sehingga dapat dipergunakan dengan baik untuk kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah IOT (Internet of Things) yang memanfaatkan koneksi internet untuk melakukan berbagai hal yang memudahkan untuk segala aktivitas dan sistem aplikasinya menggunakan Telegram, karena pada aplikasi Telegram terdapat fitur Bot yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pencarian, pengingat dan sebagai penghubung. Hasil dari aplikasi Bot Telegram ini adalah sebuah akses kontrol kunci pintu dan memonitoring keadaan pintu secara langsung berbasis NodeMCU ESP8266 yang memiliki fungsi untuk mengendalikan kunci pintu dan mengirim notifikasi berupa chat ke Bot Telegram melalui jaringan internet sehingga pengguna dapat mengontrol dari jarak jauh.
