Abstract

Environmental parameters in a greenhouse influence plant growth, namely sunlight, air temperature, air humidity, which can be controlled more easily. Using a greenhouse allows you to get closer to optimal conditions for plant growth. A plant can generally grow in a warm and humid environment. Therefore, keeping plant seeds in a warm growing environment will speed up the plant growth process. Apart from the above parameters, it is also necessary to pay attention to disturbances from destructive animals at night which disturb fruit and vegetable crops. Since the existence of the green house, KWT has been active in helping the family's economy by planting vegetables such as soycin, celery, leeks, lettuce, eggplant and tomatoes. However, at night the Green House has no lighting. Because the green house is on empty land surrounded by weeds, there have been several incidents where animals have entered the green house and disturbed or damaged the plants, such as rats and raccoons. And it would be a shame if these plants were already bearing fruit like tomatoes and eggplant. Therefore, greenhouses need lighting in addition to maintaining temperature or warm conditions to speed up the seeding process and also to protect the plants in the greenhouse from nocturnal animals that damage fruit and vegetable plants. The team offers automatic lighting technology. also equipped with automatic watering.

Abstract

Khadijah Food are experiencing obstacles related to the Banana Sale production process which still uses traditional methods in drying raw materials through direct sunlight. Actually, this partner already has an oven dryer, but the performance of the tool is not optimal because the production results and the quality of the dried bananas are not as expected, because the caramelization process, which is an important stage in drying bananas, does not go well. The solution provided is to use a food drying device using the concept of drying moisture content with a heating element for drying, and a blower for heat circulation in the drying room, so that the drying results of bananas can run more optimally because apart from the heat from the heater, sufficient air circulation is also provided in the drying process. Drying banana ingredients with a concept like this will allow the caramelization stage to run optimally because the water content will not be trapped on the surface of the banana or evaporate. Caramelization is a reaction of sugar content to high heat temperatures which results in bananas becoming more pliable or not easily brittle, brownish in color and having a distinctive taste. With this service activity, partners benefit directly through the touch of technology provided. An increase in turnover will occur and market needs will also be met even though the weather is not supportive.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the implementation of the 4P Marketing Mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) in the Rahmi Muara Bungo boarding house business and to formulate sustainable optimization strategies for increasing its occupancy rate. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with the owner/manager and diverse tenants, supplemented by direct observation of facilities and promotional initiatives. The research findings reveal a current marketing focus on providing basic facilities, highlighting the strategic location, and relying on word-of-mouth promotion. In-depth analysis, grounded in Service-Dominant Logic (value creation through service exchange) and the Resource-Based View (strategic role of internal resources), identifies significant opportunities for enhancement across each element of the Marketing Mix. These include upgrading facilities responsive to tenant needs, adjusting pricing structures to be more flexible and value-oriented, actively promoting the advantages of location and accessibility, and developing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. The study concludes that an integrated and holistic optimization of the 4P Marketing Mix, focusing on enhancing value for tenants and the effective utilization of existing resources, is crucial for achieving a sustainable increase in the occupancy rate and strengthening the competitive position of the Rahmi Muara Bungo boarding house within the local accommodation market.

Abstract

Kegiatan usaha rumahan yang dilakukan oleh kaum wanita di negeri Minang sepertinya sudah menjadi sebuah alternatif untuk penopang perekonomian keluarga. Usaha keluarga ini biasanya dilakoni oleh perempuan. Perempuan tangguh ini memiliki usaha mandiri berupa makanan tradisional. Usaha yang dijadikan objek pada kegiatan pengabdian kali ini adalah usaha makanan Rakik maco dan arai pinang. Mitra kami bernama Usaha Bu Husni dan Mak Jubai.Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah membantu mitra dalam hal manajemen usaha dan produksi. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan mitra dapat meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen usahanya, meluaskan daerah pemasarannya, meningkatkan kualitas produksinya yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan pendapatan dan keuntungan mitra. Kegiatan ini akan dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan manajemen usaha (pengemasan, pemasaran motivasi usaha) dan pemberian barang bantuan produksi berupa kompos gas sebagai alat meningkatkan jumlah produksinya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik biografis dan kompetensi manajerial terhadap kinerja industri kreatif Sumatera Barat. Sampel berjumlah 263 manajer usaha industri kreatif Sumatera Barat. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling, dimana sampel yang diperoleh dialokasikan secara proporsional di 6 Kabupaten antara lain: Padang Pariaman, Pesisir Selatan, Agam, Tanah Datar and Sawah Lunto Sijunjung. Metode penelitian adalah survei dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data Structural Equation Model (SEM) dan PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik biografis tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, kompetensi manajerial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pada industri kreatif Sumatera Barat.
