Abstract

The sub-district office is a government institution and the arm of the state in providing services to the community. This service is also called public services that need assessment. With the spirit of bureaucratic decentralization that gave birth to regional autonomy, the assessment of public services needs to be measured through the Community Satisfaction Index (CSI). That way, this study formulates the CSI in the Umbullharjo sub-district Office, Yogyakarta City, which aims to determine the level of community satisfaction with the public services provided. For this reason, this study uses a survey method with quota sampling method, the instrument of which is a questionnaire as a data collection tool. Data collection methods were used by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents—taken randomly with consecutive sampling. The calculation results of CSI refers to Ministrial Regulation for the Empeworment of State Apparaturs Bureaucratic of Reformation no. 16, 2014. The results showed that the CSI was 77.25, so the quality of public services was at the level of ‘B’ and the performance category was ‘Good’. This means that the performance of public services in the January-April 2017 period falls into a good category and the bureaucratic system runs at maximum.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/pjiap.v4i1.2199

It explores how the rural development policy becomes a means of social transformation influences villagers in the context of the emerging local elites and increasing livelihood in their home villages. While available ecotourism potency, based on natural and cultural assets, protects villagers in enacting village laws and providing welfare programs independently, they limit the means and scope of ecotourism potency to powerful their living resilience. This study suggests that the potential of rural ecotourism should be encouraged through policy changes. Villagers have not recognized their assets and potential caused by social stratification, land ownership, and power inequality, so initiatives to powerful social identity tend to be neglected.

Abstract

This article will examine how progressive Islam’s reasoning can be a reference to free human beings from the exploitation and domination of social class? So what social movements can we do in the midst of crush the nation’s problems related to the exploitation of natural resources that increasingly vine? From this point on, I hope to get a meta-theory regulation that can be implied entirely for the benefit of society, in order to be free from exploitation and domination. To answer this important position, the discourse of social movements can be mapped into two, namely old social movement and new social movement. While Islam as a universal religion, there is no need to discuss theological-transcendental issues, but how the theology should create a new, more applicable avenue of dialectics to answer the question the rulers of powers domination. In the hope of a progressive, inclusive, open-minded, and pluralist theological doctrine. The results of this study may contribute to the development of science and the movement that became a turning point and reference in social change.
