Abstract

The research conducted aims to identify students' attitudes toward science subjects through two indicators, namely the pleasure of learning science and career interests in the field of science owned by students at Junior High School 17 Jambi City. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The subjects of this research were 128 students at Junior High School 17 Jambi city with a total of 128 students. Samples were taken using a total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that 72 people out of 128 respondents had sufficient attitudes in the pleasure of learning science and also had enough interest in a career in the field of science. The results of this study also showed that when a child likes to study science, the child also has a good interest in a career in the natural sciences.DOI: 10.24071/ijiet.2020.040108

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan inovasi pendidikan serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penerapan inovasi pendidikan di Sekolah Islam Terpadu Nurul Ilmi Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui wawancara, observasi dan pengumpulan dokumen. Jumlah informan dalam penelitian ini adalah 25 informan, yaitu: 5 informan utama yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan 20 informan pendukung yang terdiri dari wakil kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan inovasi pendidikan di Sekolah Islam Terpadu Nurul Ilmi Jambi adalah: Meningkatkan dan mendukung proses belajar mengajar: Meningkatkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, menciptakan budaya sekolah positif yang dapat mendorong warga sekolah untuk proaktif dan kreatif, menetapkan kebijakan yang dapat diterima oleh warga sekolah dan sesuai dengan nilai budaya dan tradisi masa kini, mendukung dan meningkatkan komitmen, dan kapasitas (skill dan knowledge) sehingga profesional, loyal pada institusi dan bekerja keras, memberdayakan guru dan pegawai agar mereka mengenali kemampuan, memotivasi, memperkuat, membimbing, dan memfasilitasi staf dan seluruh warga sekolah yang berada di bawah arahan kepala sekolah, meningkatkan atau memperluas kegiatan dan jejaring sosial sekolah. Sedangkan faktor pendukung dan penghambat inovasi pendidikan di Sekolah Islam Terpadu Nurul 'Ilmi Jambi adalah: kerjasama dengan semua pihak yang berkepentingan dan sesuai dengan visi misi sekolah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of attitudes to the concentration of student learning in physics at SMAN 10 Batang Hari. The sample used in this study was 121 with the data analysis technique used was purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The statistics used are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Where descriptive statistics display the mean, median, and mode. While inferential statistics use a correlation test. The results of this study are the relationship between attitudes to the concentration of learning in physics at SMAN 10 Batang Hari which is indicated by the sig size is 0.05.

Abstract

Religiusitas ialah suatu karakter yang berperan penting pada sikap yang akan ditunjukkan seseorang, terutama siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara religiusitas siswa terhadap sikap siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitaf asosiatif dengan rancangan penelitiannya adalah korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 121 siswa SMA Negeri 10 Batanghari dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa total sampling. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu angket. Data penelitian yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan religiusitas dan sikap siswa di SMA Negeri 10 Batanghari berkategori baik. Religiusitas dan sikap siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika diketahui memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dengan tingkat hubungan sebesar 0.981

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of hard work to the attitudes of students in science subjects at SMPN 4 Muaro Jambi. The research design used is associative quantitative with correlation design. The sampling technique used was total sampling with a total sample of 126 students. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics display the mean, mode, minimum and maximum values. While the inferential statistics used are product-moment correlation tests. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there is a relationship of hard work towards students' attitudes in science subjects that can be seen from the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.010 <0.05 which states there is a relationship between attitude to student hard work. Then the correlation coefficient of 0.668 which states that the level of correlation is strong.

Abstract

This article aims to present the results of research on students' attitudes towards science subjects in terms of two indicators, namely interest in learning science and career interest in science among junior high school students. This associative quantitative research uses a survey on a research sample of 128 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The results of the data analysis showed that the students' attitudes on the indicators of interest in learning science were dominant in the good category, while the attitudes of the students on the indicators of career interest in science were dominant in the moderate category.

Abstract

The research design used was quantitative with the type of survey research. This study aims to describe the attitudes of students towards natural science learning at Junior High School 3 Batanghari reviewed through 3 indicators, namely attitudes toward inquiry in science, pleasure in science subjects, and interest in a career in science. The data collection technique used is total sampling with a total sample of 152 students. The research instrument used was an attitude questionnaire which explained the attitudes towards science learning through the three indicators as many as 25 statements. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that students in Junior High School 3 Batanghari in first dominant indicator were in sufficient category, the second dominant indicator was in good category and the third dominant indicator was in the good category.
