Abstract

The attitude of students during the learning process is essential to be known by an educator to understand how to deal with students in the class. This study aims to determine how students 'attitudes towards science subjects and this study also aim to determine whether there is a comparison of students' attitudes towards natural science subjects in junior high schools in Indonesia. This research was conducted at some state junior high schools in Jambi. Specifically, the research sites were Junior High School 5, Junior High School 6, and Junior High School 26 in Jambi. The research design used in this study was a quantitative approach with survey methods. The research instrument was a science attitude questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that students' attitudes toward science subjects based on indicators of adoption of scientific attitudes, fun in learning science, and interest in increasing the time to study science were in good categories and also there are significant differences of students’ attitude towards science subjects in the three schools with a comparison value of 0.042 < 0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of attitudes to the concentration of student learning in physics at SMAN 10 Batang Hari. The sample used in this study was 121 with the data analysis technique used was purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The statistics used are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Where descriptive statistics display the mean, median, and mode. While inferential statistics use a correlation test. The results of this study are the relationship between attitudes to the concentration of learning in physics at SMAN 10 Batang Hari which is indicated by the sig size is 0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sikap siswa terhadap mata pelajaran Fisika di SMAS Adhyaksa Kota Jambi dengan melakukan peninjauan terhadap tiga indikator sikap siswa terhadap mata pelajaran Fisika. Desain dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 140 siswa kelas IPA SMAS Adhyaksa Kota Jambi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan berupa random sampling.  Instrument pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrument angket (kuisioner) yang diadopsi dari Rio Darmawangsa yang memiliki nilai Cronbach Alpha sebesar 0.9. Analisis data, pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif dengan program SPSS untuk mencari statistik deskriptif. Indikator yang memiliki persentase tertinggi adalah ketertarikan menambah waktubelajar Fisika sebesar 69.3% dengan kategori cukup baik, selanjutnya indikator kesenangan belajar Fisika sebesar 57.1% dengan kategori cukup baik, sedangkan untuk indikator adopsi sikap ilmiah memiliki persentase sebesar 50.7% dengan kategori baik. Dengan demikian, indikator adopsi sikap ilmiah memiliki kategori terbaik dari ketiga indikator sikap terhadap mata pelajaran Fisika.

Abstract

Religiusitas ialah suatu karakter yang berperan penting pada sikap yang akan ditunjukkan seseorang, terutama siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara religiusitas siswa terhadap sikap siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitaf asosiatif dengan rancangan penelitiannya adalah korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 121 siswa SMA Negeri 10 Batanghari dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa total sampling. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu angket. Data penelitian yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan religiusitas dan sikap siswa di SMA Negeri 10 Batanghari berkategori baik. Religiusitas dan sikap siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika diketahui memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dengan tingkat hubungan sebesar 0.981

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of hard work to the attitudes of students in science subjects at SMPN 4 Muaro Jambi. The research design used is associative quantitative with correlation design. The sampling technique used was total sampling with a total sample of 126 students. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics display the mean, mode, minimum and maximum values. While the inferential statistics used are product-moment correlation tests. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there is a relationship of hard work towards students' attitudes in science subjects that can be seen from the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.010 <0.05 which states there is a relationship between attitude to student hard work. Then the correlation coefficient of 0.668 which states that the level of correlation is strong.
