Abstract

Adolescents are a group to watch the intake of nutritional health, especially because, in adolescence, physiological changes occur so that the energy and nutrient needs are very influential on the growth and development of adolescents. quality aspects of adolescent health, nutritional status, and achievement of learning as a form of juvenile productivity in turn will affect the quality resources. Students are pubescent and adolescent group adolesens, and is still a lack of research on adolescents. Therefore, researchers interested in studying about the intake of fat with waist circumference ratio pelvis on students in STIKES Wira Husada in Sleman, Yogyakarta. This study is a descriptive cross sectional analytic approach. The sample of 120 people was taken by purposive sampling, the data were analyzed with the Spearman Rank. The average age of respondents was 21,62-2,11 years. Of the 120 respondents consisted of 50,8% were male and 49,2% female. Energy intake of 60,8% of respondents in both categories, and for fat intake of 120 respondents 31,7% in the low category. Circumference Waist Hip Ratio of 120 respondents 67,5% had obese category, with an average of 71,04 and a waist circumference hip circumference average of 81,29. From the research value of 0,307 significancy then there is no relationship between fat intake ratio of waist circumference to hip circumference. Conclusion: There is no relationship between fat intake ratio of waist circumference to hip circumference.

Abstract

This research was aimed to examine about the geographycal observation toward the existence of hearth industry and its sustainability in Rejosari village in 2015. This research used descriptive method with the population were about 12 industrialist. Data collecting technique used observation technique, structured interview, and documentation. Data analysis used tabulation and percentage as the basic interpretation and description in finishing the result of this research. The result of this research showed that: 1) All the industrialists needed the materials for a month was about 168 m3 of clay 2) All the industrialist said that it was not hard to recruite the employes. 3) The average of capital financial which was owned by all the industrialists was about Rp. 841.667. 4) Transportation needs of every entrepreneur always be fulfilled by means of renting. 5) Most of industrialists said that the process of production was fast enough. It was about 14,70% which had not been sold yet for each month.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang Tinjauan geografis terhadap keberadaaanindustri tungku dan keberlanjutannyadiDesa Rejosari tahun 2015.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan populasi sebanyak 12 pengusaha.Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi.Analisis data dengan tabulasi dan persentase sebagai dasar interpretasi dan deskripsi dalam membuat laporan hasil penelitian.Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Semua pengusaha membutuhkan bahan baku rata-rata setiap bulannya sebanyak 168 M3 tanah liat. 2) Seluruh pengusaha menyatakan mudah untuk mendapatkan tenaga kerja. 3)Rata-rata modal awal yang dimiliki setiap pengusaha sebanyak Rp.841.667 4) Kebutuhan transportasi setiap pengusaha selalu terpenuhidengan cara menyewa.5) Sebagian besar pengusaha menyatakan lancar dalam proses produksi, hanya 14,70% yang belum bisa terjual setiap bulannya.Kata kunci :tinjauan geografis, industri, kerajinan tungku

Abstract

ABSTRACK This research aims to gain a deep understanding of the role of religiosity in shaping the work ethic of factory workers in LPKS Mynara Cikarang. In this research approach, a qualitative method was employed, focusing on data collection through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The research respondents consisted of factory workers at LPKS Mynara Cikarang with diverse work experiences. The findings of this research depict religiosity not only as a series of religious rituals but also as a profound awareness that permeates moral values and personal engagement with God. These religious values provide a strong moral foundation, creating a work culture based on a moral calling rather than tasks as mere obligations. Religious practices, such as prayer and self-reflection, are not just rituals but also psychological strategies that positively impact the psychological well-being of workers. The research also highlights the challenges and opportunities in enhancing the work ethic of factory workers. Training and skills development are recognized as strategic pillars, while leadership roles that set positive examples and engage in open communication are identified as keys to motivating workers. However, high levels of stress and workload can hinder productivity, indicating the need for management policies that support employee well-being. Adaptation to technological changes is also crucial, requiring relevant training and effective communication. Overall, these findings provide a foundation for companies to develop holistic strategies that incorporate training, leadership, stress management, and technological adaptation to sustainably enhance the work ethic of factory workers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of work discipline among employees at UD. Putra Tunggal. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through structured interviews and validated using source and technique triangulation. The informants consisted of six individuals selected through purposive. Data analysis was conducted through four steps: data collection, condensation, presentation, and conclusion. The findings reveal that employee discipline remains insufficient, influenced by lenient sanctions, lack of rewards, and weak supervision. These issues hinder overall productivity and suggest that stronger enforcement and reward systems are needed.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the existence of Halal Corner through Instagram in understanding halal products to its followers. The method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results of  the  analysis  found  about  the  Existence  of  Da'wah  Halal  Corner  Through  Instagram  in Understanding Halal Products to Followers are by running the da'wah program such as showing how to find halal products, introducing products that need to be watched out, recommending halal products, providing consulting services, and offline da'wah. The conclusion is the results of the research used functional structural theory, namely functional analysis with the concepts of function, dysfunction and role-set. It was found that the Halal Corner da'wah through Instagram has been proven to exist and has a manifest function whose existence has a positive impact on the social situation in cyberspace or netizens, especially to its followers in understanding halal products through the Halal Corner da'wah program which continues to be carried out in a patterned and repetitive manner and is always up to date on the Halal Corner Instagram account and da'wah activities both online and offline. It was also found that da'wah Halal Corner has a latent function, which can indirectly strengthen social ties between followers who feel they have the same values and goals in using and consuming halal products. It was also found that Halal Corner has limitations within its internals that can be dysfunctional to other facts in social situations in cyberspace and the real world. Also da'wah Halal Corner has many roles (role- sets) including as an educator, as a curator of halal product content, as a social activist, and as a liaison with halal authorities.

Abstract

Desa Jambesari, Kecamatan Sumberbaru Kabupaten Jember merupakan salah satu wilayah penghasil kopi terbanyak di Jember. Masyarakat Desa Jambesari belum mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan limbah kulit kopi menjadi produk yang lebih bermanfaat, seperti pupuk kompos. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Desa Jambesari akan potensi limbah kulit kopi sebagai sumber daya yang bernilai, serta memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk mengolah limbah tersebut menjadi pupuk kompos organik yang berkualitas. tidak hanya fokus pada pengelolaan limbah, tetapi juga bertujuan meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian, memperbaiki kualitas hidup masyarakat, serta mendukung program pemerintah dalam mengurangi dampak perubahan iklim. Metode dari pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi bahwasanya limbah kulit kopi di desa jambesari masih berjumlah besar. Jumlah limbah kulit kopi bervariasi tergantung pada skala produksinya. Besarnya limbah kulit kopi tersebut berpotensi sebagai bahan pencemar di lingkungan jika tidak dikelola dengan baik di karenakan di Desa Jambesari masih belum ada yang mengelolanya. Pembuatan pupuk kompos berbahan kulit kopi sebagai pupuk organik merupakan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menekan dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh limbah kulit kopi dan sekaligus sebagai upaya perbaikan kualitas tanah.

Abstract

Adolescent girls are the most vulnerable group to iron deficiency during growth and menstruation. An innovative snack product gyoza substituted with tuna and added moringa leaves can be developed to increase protein and iron content. This study aimed to determine the effect of tuna substitution and moringa leaf addition on sensory evaluation of gyoza’s color, aroma, texture, and taste as a snack for adolescent girls with iron deficiency anemia. The research is a pure experimental research with a completely randomized design. The sensory test data collection technique was carried out on 35 untrained panelists. The 4 formulations developed, namely F1 (25g tuna substitution with the addition of 10g moringa leaves), F2 (50g tuna substitution with the addition of 10g moringa leaves), F3 (75g tuna substitution with the addition of 10g moringa leaves), and F4 (100g tuna substitution with the addition of 10g moringa leaves). Then it was analyzed using the Kruskal Wallis test and the Mann-Whitney test as a further test. The results of the four formulations showed that there was an effect of tuna substitution with the addition of moringa leaves on the texture and taste sensory test however, there was no effect of tuna substitution with the addition of moringa leaves on the color and aroma sensory test and the best product was obtained in F3. The results of the gyoza nutritional content test that was substituted with tuna and the addition of the best moringa leaves or F3 formula based on laboratory testing had a nutritional content of 11,25% protein and 0,022% iron per 100 grams of gyoza. It is hoped that further research will modify the amount of moringa leaves added to improve the organoleptic test of gyoza products by panelists and examine gyoza formulations for other nutritional content that has not been tested and economic value.

Abstract

Endophytic bacteria are in symbiosis with plants and have the potential to produce secondary metabolites similar to their host. Kumis kucing (Orthosiphon aristatus) is a traditional medicinal plant that has been proven to have many pharmacological activities, including antiviral and antibacterial. This study aims to isolate and characterize endophytic bacteria from kumis kucing leaves. Endophytic bacteria were isolated from kumis kucing leaf by spreading method on Trypticase Soy Agar (TSA) media and incubated for 24 hours at room temperature. Colonies that grew with bacterial morphology were inoculated on TSA media to obtain pure cultures. Pure cultures of isolates were identified through Gram staining, 16S rRNA gene sequencing, and bacterial growth curves. There were eight isolates with bacterial morphology, which were identified by Gram staining. The staining results showed that all were classified as Gram-negative with rod and coccus shapes. The 16S rRNA gene sequencing identified three bacterial isolates: Acinetobacter schindleri, Pantoea agglomerans, and Pseudomonas lurida. The three bacteria have different time to reach stationary phases in order to produce their secondary metabolites.

Abstract

Pernikahan usia muda masih menjadi masalah sosial yang serius di Desa Jambearum, Kecamatan Sumberjambe, Kabupaten Jember. Hal ini menghasilkan dampak negatif jangka panjang terhadap pendidikan, kesehatan, dan kesejahteraan generasi muda. Studi ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pendidikan berbasis komunitas dalam mencegah pernikahan dini dengan menekankan peran guru ngaji, tokoh masyarakat, orang tua, dan institusi pendidikan sebagai aktor utama. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Riset Aksi Partisipatif (PAR) melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD), serta dokumentasi, dengan melibatkan perangkat desa, pemuka agama, remaja, dan masyarakat. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik pernikahan dini masih umum terjadi, sebagian dilakukan secara rahasia tanpa izin nikah, yang berdampak pada putus sekolah, stunting, ketergantungan ekonomi, dan keterbatasan akses administrasi. Strategi pendidikan yang berfokus pada komunitas terbukti lebih berhasil karena menekankan pendekatan partisipatif, berlandaskan nilai-nilai sosial- budaya setempat, dan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran kritis masyarakat. Peran guru ngaji memiliki peranan penting dalam menghindari pernikahan dini, sebagai agen moral sekaligus pendukung dialog. Studi ini mengusulkan kolaborasi antara pemerintah desa, institusi pendidikan, dan organisasi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kapasitas lokal, menawarkan alternatif ekonomi bagi keluarga, serta merancang program penyuluhan yang berkelanjutan dan sesuai konteks.

Abstract

Discipline plays a very important role for students in achieving success in the future.Discipline is a key factor in achieving success, especially for learners. Discipline itself refers to a set of educational rules that involve adherence to standards or appropriate behavior and activities. Discipline in schools is established through the role of student management, which creates rules that must be followed by everyone within the institution. Student management refers to all planned and deliberate activities as well as continuous guidance for all students within an educational institution, so they can participate in the teaching and learning process effectively and efficiently.
