Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang menghambat proses belajar mengajar karena dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia menuntut siswa aktif mendengar, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dan kecerdasan linguistik dengan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini tergolong penelitian korelasional. Fakta menunjukkan kurangnya kepercayaaan diri siswa ketika proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Aspek menyimak terlihat siswa kurang memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam menyimak karena materi menyimak yang dianggap sulit dipahami oleh siswa. Siswa kurang percaya diri untuk berbicara terutama berbicara di depan kelas. Kemampuan berbicara kurang dilatih sejak dini sehingga berlanjut sampai ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi. Pembelajaran membaca seringkali diidentikkan dengan membaca pemahaman, membaca sekilas, dan sebagainya semua proses membaca mempengaruhi kepercayaan diri yang menurunkan kecerdasan linguistiknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa yang percaya diri dapat menyimak dengan baik dengan menonjolkan pemahaman konsep diri yang meningkatkan kepercayaan diri terhadap hasil simakannya. Berbicara meningkatkan percaya diri siswa ketika berbicara di depan kelas. Ketika telah dipahami bagaimana konsep diri pribadi siswa, siswa menjadi percaya diri berbicara di kelas karena pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara lebih banyak dilatih baik berbicara di depan kelas maupun ketika diskusi kelas. Abstract: This research is motivated by the low self-confidence of students in Indonesian language learning which impedes the teaching and learning process because in Indonesian language learning requires students to actively listen, speak, read and write. Purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-concept and linguistic intelligence with the confidence of fifth grade students in learning Indonesian. This research method is classified as correlational research. The facts show the lack of student confidence when learning the Indonesian language. The listening aspect shows that students lack good ability to listen because listening material is considered difficult for students to understand. Students lack the confidence to speak, especially speaking in front of the class. The ability to speak is not trained from an early age so that it continues to a higher level. Learning to read is often identified with reading comprehension, skimming, and so on all reading processes affect self-confidence which decreases linguistic intelligence. The results showed that students who were confident could listen well by highlighting the understanding of self-concepts that increased confidence in the results of their simulations. Speaking increases students' confidence when speaking in front of the class. When it has been understood how students 'personal self-concepts, students become confident speaking in class because learning Indonesian language students' ability to speak more trained both speaking in front of the class and when class discussions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. The model that has been widely adopted to support the learning centered learning model and emphasizes the involvement of students in the active learning process as in the integrated thematic learning process is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. In integrated thematic learning students are directed at student-centered learning, students are actively searching, group-based learning, and using real-world problems as a context for students to learn about critical thinking and problem solving skills. This is in line with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. In this study researchers used a literature study (library research). First the researchers formulated the research problem, then proceeded to search for electronic journals via google schoolar. From the search, 15 relevant journals were analyzed for their role in integrated thematic learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The keywords used for journal research are Problem Based Learning, learning outcomes, elementary school. The analysis turned out to show that the Problem Based Learning model was able to improve student learning outcomes starting from the lowest 28% to the highest 93% with an average of 58%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di SD Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit Kecamatan Pauh, Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen jenis Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan rancangan The Static Comparison: Randomized Control Group Only Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV semester II SD Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit Kecamatan Pauh yang terdiri dari 2 kelas berjumlah 47 orang. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil pengujian terhadap data dari kelas sampel yaitu berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan uji-t menunjukkan thitung= 2,464 dan ttabel= 1,677 dengan db= 47 (n1+n2–2=24+25-2=47) dan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan pengujian thitungttabel(2,464 1,677)  maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, dengan kesimpulan  bahwa “hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik lebih baik daripada hasil belajar siswa yang tanpa menggunakan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV SD Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit Kecamatan Pauh”.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of integrated thematic teaching materials using a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)approach for elementary school students. This research was an experimental study using a post only test research design. The procedure of this study consisted of a prerequisite test and a hypothesis test. The prerequisite test consisted of tests of normality and homogeneity and the hypothesis test consisted of the T test. The calculation results found that the t count of 12.2023 and t table 11.66895 at the level of significance α = 0.05 because t count waslarger than t table then Ho was rejected , and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there was a significant influence on the use of thematic teaching materials using CTL on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. The implication of this research was that it can be used as a reference in the learning process in elementary schools

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The purpose of this research is to find out the improvement of students' mathematical critical thinking skills in elementary school by using REACT strategy. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in grade 4 at SDN 02 VII Koto Sungai Sarik Padang Pariaman. The research procedure consisted of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques used the method of observation, measurement of learning test results and documentation. The data analysis technique consisted of quantitative data. The results showed that an increase in students' mathematical critical thinking skills began with an initial ability of 43.67, cycle 1 gained an average of 68.56, and cycle 2 gained an average of 83.37. So it can be concluded that there was an increase in mathematical critical thinking skills of elementary school students by using the REACT strategy. This study recommends that elementary school teachers can use the REACT strategy as an effort to improve mathematical critical thinking skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Jigsaw Cooperative learning on student learning outcomes in social studies learning in grade 5 of elementary school. This research was motivated by the fact that teachers tended to apply conventional learning models, learning was often dominated by teachers, so the learning process was less attractive to students, and student learning outcomes in social studies learning still tended to be low. This research was a quantitative research with quasy experimental research design. The sampling was taken by using purposive sample technique. The research sample consisted of 50 people with a population of 50 people. The treatment that researchers gave to the experimental class aimed to determine the effect that occurred on learning outcomes using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Method. The instrument used in collecting data in the form of objective tests with multiple choice forms. Based on the research that has been done, the obtained t-count> t-table was 4.5378> 2.011 with α = 0.05 which meant that H0 was rejected. The average student learning outcomes measured by posttest after learning, namely in the 86.88 experimental class and 75.63 control class. So Ha accepted that there was an influence of the use of Jigsaw Cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in social studies learning in grade 5 of elementary school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the increased reading skills of understanding by the process of reading skills in Class IV SD Rujukan 04 Birugo Kota Bukittinggi. This type of research is Classroom Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of the research were teacher and 23 class IV students.  The results of the study indicate an increase in the implementation and student learning outcomes. The results of lesson plan observation on cycle I was 81.94%, and cycle II was 94.44%. Assessment of the implementation of teacher activities in the first cycle averaged 81.25%, in the second cycle an average of 94.44%. Assessment of the implementation of student activities in the first cycle averaged 77,08%, in the second cycle an average of 91.33%. The results of the recapitulation of student scores in the first cycle with a class average of 72.69%, in the second cycle the results of the recapitulation were 90,41%, , and in the skill aspect it gets an average of 81,45 to 88.02.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning processes by using the Discovery Learning model in Class IV SD Negeri 09 Bandar Buat Kota Padang. This type of research is PTK with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study was conducted in two cycles. Research data in the form of observations and tests. Subjects in this research were teachers and students of class IV. The results of the first cycle study RPP 76.56% (C), second cycle 93.75% (SB). The implementation of aspects of teacher learning in the first cycle 81.26% (B), second cycle 90.6% (SB). Aspects of students in the first cycle were 81.26% (B), the second cycle was 90.6% (SB). Student learning outcomes cycle I 66.5, cycle II to 87. It can be concluded in research that the Discovery Learning model can improve the integrated thematic learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this researchis to describe the improvement student learning outcome of integrated thematic learning by using Audio Visual Media in class I SDN 07 Teladan Bukittinggi city 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were teachers and 26 grade Istudents of SDN 07Teladan Bukitttinggi City. The study was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle two meetings and the second cycle one meeting.therefore, the Audio Visual media coul improve the student learning outcomes of integrated thematic learning. The results of lesson plan observation on cycle I was 88,63%, and cycle II was 95,45%. The observation of teacher on cycle I was 87,5% and cycle II was 91,66. While, the improvement of students aspect on cycle I was 89,28% and cycle II was 92,85%. While the average student learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect is 87,9 to 90,28, and in the skill aspect it gets an average of 78,1 to 86.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of the integrated thematic learning process using the Inquiry learning model in class V SDN 09 Belakang Balok Kota Bukitinggi. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were teachers and 28 students. The results showed the value of planning the first cycle learning 82.94% and increasing the second cycle 93.18%. The observations of aspects of the first cycle teacher 82.25% and 95.87% increased the second cycle. The results of observations of aspects of students in the first cycle 79.17% and increase in the second cycle 93.6%. It can be concluded in the study that learning using team quiz of active learning model can improve the learning process in elementary schools.
