Abstract

Tujuan penelitian awal ini untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang gaya belajar dan kesukaan siswa SD yang berguna untuk mengembangkan buku literasi membacasebagai bentuk pemantapan nilai sosial budaya di SD agar berdaya guna untuk Gerakan Literasi Sekolah. Hal ini dilandasi oleh masih ditemukan kasus siswa SD yang melakukan kekerasan terhadap teman sendiri. Model pengembangan literasi membaca untuk siswa SD yang digunakan adalah model Plomp dengan langkah:preliminary research, prototyping, dan assessment. Temuan penelitian dalam analisis awal yaitu siswa cenderung kurang termotivasi untuk membaca disebabkan bahan bacaan yang kurang menarik. Analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa siswa SD sangat menyukai cerita rakyat. Cerita rakyat yang perlu dikembangkan yaitu cerita rakyat nusantara yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia dalam setiap provinsi. Diharapkan praktisi pendidikan menggunakan buku yang berisi tentang cerita rakyat dalam proses pembelajaran dan menjalankan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah. Hasil validasi bahan ajar menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar literasi membaca dengan menggunakan cerita rakyat sudah valid dan dapat diujicobakan. Kata kunci: literasi membaca, cerita rakyat,sekolah dasar  READING LITERACY TO STRENGTHEN SOCIAL VALUES AMONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS Abstract This preliminary study aims to collect information about elementary school students’ learning styles and preferences that are useful for developing reading literacy books to strengthenthe socio-cultural values in elementary schools in order to be effective for the School Literacy Movement. This is as based on the fact that there are cases of elementary school students committing violence against their own friends. The development model of reading literacy for elementary school students was Plomp’s model with the steps of preliminary research, prototyping, and assessment. The research findings in the preliminary analysis show that students tend to have less motivation to read due to reading materials which are not interesting enough. The needs analysis results show that elementary school students really like folklore. The folklore to be developed comprises traditional Indonesian folklore spreading throughout the country in every province. It is expected that educational practitioners use a book about folklore in the learning process and the School Literacy Movement. The results of the teaching materials validation show that reading literacy learning materials using folklore are valid and can be tried out.Keywords: reading literacy, folklore, elementary school

Abstract

This research is intends develop integrated thematic learning materials by using discovery learning (DL) model in the 5th grade of elementary school. It categorize this research into research and development study. The model includes four phases, defining, designing, developing, and disseminating phases. However, it did not include the disseminating phases. The subjects of the research were 5th grade students. The results of the research show that the validity score of the learning materials developed is 3,36. Questionnaire and interviews with the teachers and the students reveal that the materials developed are practical. The score given by the teachers is 96, 43%, and by the students is 84, 5%. Based on the results, we conclude it that the integrated thematic learning materials developed by using (DL) model are valid and practical to be use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model for integrating character education in integrated thematic learning in Indonesian elementary schools that is valid, practical and effective. Besides this research aims to see the differences in student characters between the control class and the experimental class. This research is a mixed method and development research (R&D) using 4-D steps. For this study, the one-group pretest and post-test one-group experimental time series design was used. The subject of the research was the second grade students of elementary school in Gadut Padang with 2 classes (IIB and IID). The results showed that the integration model of character education in integrated thematic learning that had been developed or fostered, as well as field trials through experiments were valid, practical, and effective. Specifically or specifically there is a significant difference in character between the control class and the experimental class when using the integration model of character education. Qualitatively the 4 characters that were developed look already entrenched from the application during the learning process.

Abstract

The aim of this study is development literacy with using the story of the prophet to made good spiritual attitude valid for elementary school, practice, and efective. Methods This study use the development of research of Plomp. This study is a research design that combines Plomp models with models Gravemeijer & Cobb, the which consists of 3 phases roomates preliminary studies (Preliminary research / preparing for the experiment), phase of development (Development or prototyping phase / design experiment) and assessment phase ( assessment phase / retrospective analysis), This population is elementary school in Padang. The results Showed that the learning literacy with using the story of the prophet to made good spiritual attitude for elementary student get 95.5% is Valid. literacy with using the story of the prophet to made good spiritual attitude get practice for elementary student questionnaire teacher get 87.5%, 83.3% of the student questionnaire. literacy with using the story of the prophet to made good spiritual attitude for elementary student can get effective Because student chose how to implemented a spiritual good in their attitude after literacy live with the story of prophet.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk pendampingan kepada guru-guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) Kota Pariaman tentang pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning sebagai upaya optimalisasi pembelajaran di tengah pandemi COVID-19. Program ini dilakukan sesuai dengan kebijakan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan untuk belajar dari rumah pada setiap jenjang pendidikan, tidak terkecuali jenjang SD. Akan tetapi, amanat Kemendikbud tidak berjalan secara efektif karena masih terdapat beberapa kendala, diantaranya: (1) minimnya pemahaman dan keterampilan guru tentang pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning di SD, (2) belum adanya sistem daring/aplikasi pembelajaran E-Learning yang khusus di desain untuk siswa SD, dan (3) banyaknya keluhan orang tua karena Pembelajaran Daring yang diarahkan pemerintah cenderung berorientasi tugas saja tanpa disertai penjelasan materi sehingga memberatkan orang tua untuk memfasilitasi anak belajar mandiri. Menyikapi hal tersebut, dilakukan beberapa solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan melalui sosialisasi dan pendampingan pembelajaran berbasis ELearning, pendampingan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning, pendampingan simulasi pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning, monitoring dan evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Program ini menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar di kota Pariaman dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran daring berbasis ELearning. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini peserta kini mampu mengaplikasikan pembelajaran secara daring di kelas menggunakan aplikasi berbasis E-Learning serta mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran daring yang Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan.

Abstract

The research is caused by low learning outcomes of students . Research aims to determine the effect of use of visual audio media on integrated thematic learning in the fourth grade of elementary school. This type of research is quantitative in the form of quasy experiment design. The design uses by The Nonequivalent Pretest-postest Control Group Design. Using the convenience sampling, where the population consists of several elementary schools in District of group 4  of West Padang. The study was conducted at grade 4thA and 4thB in SDN 23 Marapalam. The selected sample is grade 4thA  as the experimental class and grade 4thB as the control class. The instrument used in this study was an objective test with multiple choice types. The data analysis technique applies inferential statistical test with test-t. Proven score thitung = 2.42 and ttabel with a level of 0.05 and dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 30 + 30 - 2 = 58 obtaine ttabel = 2,002. The data of  thitung> ttabel with 2.42> 2,002 can be concluded that the visual audio media has a positive effect on the learning outcomes on integrated thematic learning in 4th grade class of Elementary School.Keywords: Visualaudio media, learning outcomes, integrated thematic learning

Abstract

This research purposed to describe the improvement thematic learnig outcomes using  the model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Grade V in Elementary School. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Subjects were teachers and 20 students. This research was consists of two cycles. The first cycle consists of two meetings and the second cycle consists of one meeting with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection .The result of planning observation in cycle I is 81,94% (B) and it increase to be 94,44% (A)  in cycle II. The result of teacher aspect observation in cycle I is 79,68% (C)  and it increase to be 93,75% (A) in cycle II. The result of student aspect observation in cycle I is 79,68% (C)  and it increase to be 90,62% (A) in cycle II. The learning outcomes in cycle I is 71,5 (C) and it increase to be 82 (B) in cycle II. The research showed the scientific approach can improve the integrated thematic learnig outcomes Grade II at Elementary School.

Abstract

This research is caused by the lack of trained students in solving problems related to problem solving through group collaboration. This research aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes on integrated thematic learning using the Problem Solving method. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The study was consistsof two cycles. The research design includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were students of class IVB of 30 Cengkeh SDN in Padang City. The results of the study showed: a). RPP I cycle 81% cycle II 94% b). Implementation on aspects of the teacher the first cycle 83%, second cycle  94% c). Implementation on aspects of learners first cycle 77% and secondcycle 94% d) Learning outcomes students in first cycle obtaines an average score of 76, cycle II 86. So that,the Problem Solving method can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class IVB SDN 30 Cengkeh, Padang City. Keywords: Problem solving method, improvement of learning outcomes, integrated thematic

Abstract

This study is aimed to describe improve learning out comes of social science by using model of two stay two stray in the fifth grade of elementary school, this study was carried oud in fifth grade of elementary school in SDN 16 Tanjung Aur Koto Tangah subdistrict Padang City, this study used classroom receach with qalitative and quantitative aproaches. The research subjects were 24 students from fifth grade of elementary school consist of 10 boys and 14 girls. Research prosedure consist of elanning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research data is the result of lanning pissasment data, asessment of implementation that is the carning aipect of the teacher, learning aspect of the student and assasment of student learning activiti data.  The result shuwed an increase a) RPP of the cycle I was 85,7% (B)and the cycle II 92,8% (SB) the implementation of the aspect of the theacher in the cycle I was 76,58% (B)and the cycle II was 96,87% (SB), white the implementation of the aspect of the student in the cyce I was 73,38% (C), and the cycle II was 96,87% (SB). c) student learning activities in the cycle I was 53,90%(C), and the cycle II 82,02% (SB) the conclision os the study using two stay two stray can inprove the study out comes student learning activities of social scence in the tifth grade of elementary school in SDN 16 Tanjung Aur Koto tangah subdistrict, Padang city     Keyword : Learning outcomes; Social science; STAD
